This was the first time that we had been in Paris. The hotel was fantastic! We lived in the city center which means the location was extremely good.. The high quality service also left an impression on us.

First of all, the rooms are so small you will not be able to open your suitcase on the floor or anywhere else for that matter. We booked a room with AC and when we checked in, there was no functioning AC in the room. We contacted reception to change rooms, but we were told that was not possible and that no rooms has fcuntioning AC, and thatthey were waiting for someone to repair it. The receptionist was quite rude and did not apologize or explain why this info was not offered when we booked a few days before. He just sarcastically told us to open the windows. We said we would check out of the room the next morning to which he just said ”ok”. The next morning when we checked out we were told we could change to a different room, but we declined as we had already booked a new hotel. After we had left, we got an angry call from some manager who demanded we come back and get a new room. They were apparently lying when they said there were no other rooms with AC the day before, and the manager calling us kept insisting that they had never said that at all and that we had made up that there were no other rooms. She kept interrupting on the phone and refused to acknowledge that we were two people in the conversation with the receptionist the day beforewho both heard him say this, and even though she had not heard the conversation herself, she seemed to know better than anyone what had been said there. This really is one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, both in terms of the quality of the room and the rude and unprofessional staff. I don't particularly enjoy getting lied to and then being accused of making things up, and I also don't enjoy trying to sleep in a tiny room that is boiling. We will not be back and we recommend no one else is either.

Super nice hotel with good Paris environment and very convenience, a great hotel to stay with family and kids here, all the services are good specially reception. I will take the first choice if I come back Paris! The fantastic time to stay at Novotel Paris, there are so many restaurants nearby and the location is safe. If you need by train, just 1 mins to the station.

I had a double room. It was very clean and calm, with a large bathroom. The rooms' decoration is certainly dated and basic but it is functional. The person at the reception the day I left was extremely helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located: about 100m from Gare Saint Lazare (and the metro) and very close to shops and large department stores in a very lively neighbourhood. I would happily stay there again. Great value for money.

My family and I recently enjoyed a truly exceptional stay at the Marriott Champs Elysees. The location is unrivaled, right at the heart of Paris with easy access to the city's iconic landmarks. The hospitality was flawless; staff were attentive, responsive, and ensured our needs were met with utmost care. The rooms were luxurious, well-maintained, and provided comfort beyond our expectations. The amenities catered to every age group in the family, making our stay enjoyable for all. In short, this Marriott establishment embodies the pinnacle of service, setting a high bar for luxury accommodation. Highly recommended for a perfect family stay.

Good hotel. Solid experience. Feels like a 4 star hotel. Kind and accommodating staff. Giving me extra soft tissues as I had a cold during my stay. Nice little french balcony. Good location near metro and lots of restaurants and bars. Close to notre dame, and jardin luxembourg. Walkable pretty neighborhood(Paris 5eme) right by Sorbonne University. Would come back, hopefully without a cold next time. Only drawback, bar is seldom serviced and the selection is limited.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. Among the few hostels that I stayed this one value for money. The bunk beds are nice with own power outlet and lighting. The only issue is that there is no place to hang clothes or towel. The toilet is clean and it is daily maintain by cleaning staff. There is a common kitchen where you can cook, make hot drinks and all the pans and cookery you require to cook a simple meal. Like all other hostels, it’s the guests that mess it up and it’s no surprise that the kitchen wasn’t clean after using the stove while other hostels has wet and messy shared bathrooms. Apart from that minor issue this hostel is highly recommended. All bookings done online are maintained and records are all there when checking in and out. Very central location with short walks to train stations and attractions. Notre Dame cathedral is just 10mins walk away. This is a “must” book hostel for your next visit to Paris.

I don't expect luxury from a hostel, but I do expect cleanliness. On the surface the hostel appears clean. Most importantly, the bed sheets and mattress are clean. However, look beyond that and you'll see it's filthy and obviously never given a deep clean. Down the side of the lower bunk there is what must be months and months of rotten food, old socks, dirt and dust that has been allowed to collect. No wonder the room smells so musty and stuffy. My bunk had blood streaks from a squashed bug (and live mosquitoes flying about), as well as sticky finger prints all over the bed panels and window. Furthermore, the noise level is crazy. I understand on a Friday people want to party so the bar was blasting out music and the 1st floor rooms are not sound proof - I actually didn't mind that. What annoyed me was the fact that they were blasting music through the speakers in the 1st floor toilet/shower rooms. WHY?! This made the room and hallways even noisier. Its only saving grace is the location (and free wi-fi). It can feel a bit dodgy walking through there alone as a single woman at night, but so can any big city... The hostel is close to some great bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions (Père Lachaise Cemetery, for example). I'd recommend hiring a bike to get around - there's quite a few Vélib' bike stations a short walk away.

Great value hotel, room was basic but clean and beds were comfortable, room suited me and my son ideally. Booking was easy, check in was smooth and staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Surrounding area was a bit rough around flea Market but we didn't have any hassle
