We stayed six nights at this fairly spartan property that was fitted with basic room attributes including a small refrigerator, a hair dryer and a tiny safe. We requested a coffee maker and received a hot pot with instant coffee. Getting an iron in the room proved a bit of an ordeal. The room was clean and the beds were quite good. Hotel staff was uniformly convivial, accommodating and helpful with exception of an encounter with the night manager (more on that later). Only one low voltage outlet in the bathroom was provided that could power an electric razor. My daughter brought a dual-voltage curling iron and hair straightener that could not be used in the bathroom due to lack of an electrical outlet. Staff ultimately provided an extension cord to be strung from the nightstand, and over the bed that my daughter was able to use to reach a wall mirror in the bedroom. We had the misfortune to be at the property during the annual Pride celebration at Place de la Republique directly in front of the hotel. My wife has mobility issues and we had to push through hundreds of drunken celebrants to get to the only entrance to the hotel. Scary stuff getting pushed along by a mob where my wife could have fallen and been trampled. I understand the Pride celebration is a public event but its a scheduled event that the hotel could have alerted clients to and made provisions to have opened a guarded entrance on the backside of the building away from the inebriated mob. With an early morning departure to the airport, I went to the desk the night before to check out so we could leave quickly the following morning. The front desk clerk advised that the hotel had my card on file and my e-mail address so they would send me the bill thereafter with nothing additionally to be done the next morning - just drop the key and run. As we were leaving early the next morning the night manager told me that I couldn't leave because I hadn't settled my bill. He inferred I was skipping out without paying the bill. I recounted the discussion I had the previous night and he repeated firmly that the bill needed to be closed out before we could leave. It was an uncomfortable encounter that was unnecessary. Somebody needs training here and its not the client. In summary, I'd say this property lacked many expected elements for the price point and as such could only describe it as providing moderate value. The lack of provisions to accommodate client access during the Pride celebration and the check-out snafu made it seem that they were somehow new to the game.

We were very pleasantly surprised with this 3-star budget hotel in the 10th Arrondisement of Paris. Our party of two had booked a twin room for three nights, with one guest only staying for one night due to travel circumstances. Here’s what we liked about the hotel: 1. The room was extremely spacious, with two double beds which were very comfortable. 2. The interior presentation of the room was fairly contemporary, decorated in a shade of pale grey with accents of maroon. A large window bathed the room in light; there were appropriate black-out curtains for a comfortable sleep. 3. The room was street-facing, but the street is not a main road and the noise level was negligible. 4. The room was spotlessly clean, and smelt fresh. 5. The bathroom was very spacious. Towels were changed daily. Some basic toiletries were provided though we always travel with our own. The shower area needed a shower curtain to contain the spray, as the water tended to go everywhere. 6. A kettle, and sachets of tea and coffee were provided in the room. 7. Breakfast is provided at an additional charge in a small dining room beside the Reception area; we did not have breakfast at the hotel. 8, The hotel offered good wifi with easy connectivity and reasonable download speed. There were ample power sockets for charging devices. 9. Reception staff were courteous and welcoming; the Reception area appeared to be staffed all the time. 10. The hotel is budget friendly, the daily room rate is good value for the standard of accommodation provided. 11. The hotel is in a good location. It’s equidistant between Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est; both mainline stations and their Metro stations are no more than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The heart of Montmartre is a 30 minute walk away. The only thing we didn’t particularly like about the location of the hotel was the the plethora of young males gathering around in the streets in the afternoon and evening, trying to discreetly sell you cigarettes and other goods. Hotel guests just need their wits about them when walking to the stations, and to make sure belongings and wallets and purses are safe. We would certainly stay at this hotel again.

We booked an overnight stay here to celebrate my husband’s birthday, before traveling to EuroDisney in the morning. We have stayed at Mercure hotels many times and they would always be my first thought. As a treat we booked a superior room with balcony and anticipated champagne on the balcony to celebrate. On arriving at the hotel after midday, we were told that our room, which should have been ready at midday was not ready. We received no explanation or apology and were rudely dismissed when the member of staff just started serving the customers behind us. Luckily we had friends staying in the hotel who were able to look after our luggage while we enjoyed the sites of Paris. When we returned to the hotel a different staff member checked us in and we went to our room. The room was nice and clean and there was a separate room with a sofa bed and TV which was nice and relaxing. To our surprise the balcony was boarded off with Perspex so we could not get onto it to experience the promised balcony. A little surprising is the bathroom situation - it’s right next to the bed separated only by a glass etched door - so be sure you’re completely comfortable with your traveling companion. In all honesty the attitude and lack of any apology from the staff member on our initial attempt to check in ruined the whole stay for me. I understand that sometimes rooms are not ready and things go wrong but there was no attempt to take ownership of the issue, apologise or even offer to hold our luggage so we could get on with our day. Not having the promised balcony was the cherry on the cake of disappointment. During our stay, a couple who were confused about their room number and reported to reception that their key was not working. They were then given a duplicate key to someone else’s room. I will not be staying at this hotel again. I will not be recommending it to anyone and I will be sending in an official complaint.

We arrived at Hotel Amoi mid morning and were greeted by Alli. It is a small boutique hotel and very attractive from the street. We were given a room quickly and Alli took the time to show us the breakfast area, where a complimentary breakfast was being served by the fabulous Fathia. A sitting room is right off of the front desk area. It is filled with wonderful books, refreshments, and a wonderful place to sit. The main breakfast area has a large table to seat guests. The breakfast items are fresh, and their croissants are some of the best in the city. The omelettes that Fathia makes are wonderful and a great way to begin your day. Juices, sodas, water and different coffees and teas are set out daily. Croissants, pastries, breads, pancakes, crepes with nutella are available each morning. Cheese and meats with breads are an option also. A superior meal! Breakfast begins at 7am. Fathia greeted us each day with a cappuccino, asking us our breakfast preference for that day. What a treat. ......We reserved a K room with courtyard view. Our room was very spacious and extremely clean. It was equipped with a coffee pot with pods and tea kettle with tea bags, along with a mini frig. A room safe is also provided.. A hair dryer, iron and ironing board were in the closet. A set of slippers and robe was provided for each guest. The bathroom was spacious and had a towel warmer as well as many toiletries provided. ........ Alli answered all questions that we had before heading out to walk the city. Lou also manned the front desk area and was just as sweet and helpful as Alli. We would start out each day asking questions and having them answered by these wonderful young women. ..... Hotel Amoi is located on the edge of the Place de la République and the Haut-Marais. There are many restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and shops, as well as grocery stores around the hotel. We felt safe walking to and from the hotel each day. When we did need to take an Uber, one was usually available within 3-4 minutes. ......I would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Amoi for your stay in Paris. ....Thank you Alli, Lou, and Fathia for making our 8 day stay with you so enjoyable.

Malgré ma réservation d'une chambre avec deux(!) lits, l'hôtel nous a proposé une chambre avec un lit 140*190. J'ai expliqué que je ne peux pas dormir dans même lit avec mon frère. L'hôte d'accueil m'a dit que l'hôtel a une seule chambre et cette chambre est déjà occupée. Alors je ne comprends pas pourquoi personne m'a envoyé un mail pour que je annule ma réservation ou je trouve un autre hôtel. L'hôte d'accueil m'a proposé une chambre à 139 euro pour passer cette nuit, en gros quelques heures car j'avais mon train lendemain à 5 heures. Je trouve que ce n'est pas professionnelle.

L'accueil est très sympa. Chambre double standard: lit confortable mais drap de lit et couverture à l'ancienne. Le chauffage était réglé sur très bas (j'ai utilisé les couvertures de réserve qui ne sentent pas le frais), la télé écran plat inutilisable, le sèche-cheveux absent. Pour le reste, c'est bien compte tenu des tarifs pratiqués dans le quartier. L'hôtel est cependant très mal insonorisé (prévoir boules Quies). Evitez le petit déjeuner à 9 €. On déjeune bien mieux en ville. Et ne demandez pas conseil d'un bon restaurant à la patronne. Elle renseigne les restaurants asiatiques.. alors qu'il y a ”Le Parisien Saint Martin” rue St Martin 337 ou plus chic le Restaurant de l'Hôte Providence”.

Hotel situato nel 10 quartiere di Parigi. Premesso che è un due stelle, se considerato come tale è una validissima opzione per visitare Parigi senza però dover spendere un capitale. Metro attaccata all’hotel, insieme a ristoranti di ogni tipo, supermercato e boulangerie tipiche. Le camere sono strette (si faceva fatica) così come il bagno, però per un turista (che probabilmente sta in hotel solo per dormire) va benissimo. Ripeto, va considerato come un due stelle in quanto comunque abbiamo trovato lenzuola leggermente macchiate, venivano cambiate ogni tre giorni. Personale super caloroso e simpaticissimo. After much research, I booked Hotel Beaurepaire for my husband and I based on the location and great price. We requested a balcony room as we were celebrating our anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised to have been granted our request upon arrival and the balcony was 1000% the move. I would have been disappointed in the accommodations without it. Made the small room feel much bigger and you get to experience the sounds of the neighborhood. The hotel has no AC which was fine for the cooler temps we experienced. There is a fan in the room which helped as well. The bathroom is so small. Nice shower but you can hardly sit on the toilet, the wall is so close to it. Turn down service was wonderful, everything in the room clean, and the Nespresso machine was great. You can hear other guests through the walls but the fan drowns it out. The hotel could use some upgrades in the lobby and stairwells. The elevator is as small as they say; room for one person and maybe one suitcase. Great restaurants and bakeries in the neighborhood and easy access to the Metro and bus lines. Overall we loved being in this neighborhood and the staff was so helpful and friendly.

Amazing location; shops, coffee shops, clothing stops. No riff raff in the hotel more mature crowd not your piss heads and party crowd. very clean hotel rooms and facility. staff spoke english very well and helpful with supplying chargers and recommendations.
