Ulasan Hotel de Castiglione Paris

The room smelled awful. Even after opening the window for an entire afternoon to air it out, it still reeked even worse in the morning once the windows were closed for the night. This is a very old hotel, and the hairdryer was practically useless. Bad review, especially for such a high price.

We stay for 3days 2nights. I can't give this hotel a 4/5 stars due to several reasons. No doubt, the location and customer was exception. I didnt use the restaurant due to too many food restaurant in every corner of Paris. The room was great, facing effel tower and the night scene was fantastic. However, the facilities, in my opinion for a 4 star Hotel was not up to standard. Dont get me wrong, the facilities provided was there. In terms of how weired where they situated was funny. The shower room and toilet was seperated. So if you want to wash your hand after toilet, you need to go around to make a u-turn to get there. Having a shower cubicle without any clothing rail, tell me where should i put the new/dirty clothes. The PVC door lock was damaged which leads to the balcony, so i just need to pray that no one climb over to my balcony. To be honest, its a good hotel but it need a bit more attention. Also, by charging this much for a room, it ashamed that customer will get the chance to choose other competitors.

The website said check-in was from 2 PM. I arrived around 2:30 PM, but was told the room wasn't ready, so I went to a nearby cafe to kill some time. I came back around 3:15 PM, and it still wasn't ready, so I had to wait. They didn't offer any detailed explanation. When I asked why, they just said housekeeping was cleaning or the manager was checking. I got angry, and finally, after 4 PM, they gave me a room and apologized, offering free breakfast. This is absolutely not the service I'd expect from a 4-star hotel. I have no intention of staying here again.

Best breakfast in Paris Fresh juice is a plus Room is big and clean except that there was a sunken part in the mattress , it don’t bother me as I am travelling alone. Not too good if it’s a couple

Service was so so, room wasn't ready and we were well passed the check in time. Room was very small, AC just blew hot air, amenities were very limited and room was not very clean.

Did not have any issue with the check in as I reached the hotel pretty late at 9pm. There seems to be a little misalignment/ confusion on the room type on Trip.com and the Hotel. I booked the premium Eiffel tower room but was told at the counter that what they provided wasn’t that room. However upon checking into the room, I realised that it’s the room I booked, with the Eiffel Tower view so no issues on that. Room cleanliness was decent but did not have any toothbrush. The only issue I had was that despite me hanging the do not disturb tag on the door, the staff still entered my room and clean it. There’s a reason why that tag was hanged there. This gave me a bad experience and felt unsafe, as the staff can still enter my room despite having the tag there.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with all hotels and all stars that I stayed before. I believe the owners/management of this hotel intend to cheap all clients, if possible. We have prepaid all our 3 restaurants ima but to arrive at the check in counter at 1700 and 1830 on the check in day to be advised that our room type was fully booked, the family 2 connecting rooms my friends booked were only good for one room and they will add 2 extra beds. Over the 3 days during my stay, every time I passed by the reception area, I can see customer complaining while checking in and out for all sorts of reasons. Those customers booked their prepaid rooms via ***********, Trip.com and C-Trip. The staff at the reception have the worst behavior and extremely rude manner. I have to teach them how to behave at least like a human being.

We booked a quadruple room for the whole family.  However, the room given to us was completely not suitable.  The shower was a see-through one with no door and facing the beds.   It was great for a romantic couple but with grown up children, it was totally not acceptable to us.  We complained and not without some argument, they offered 2 connecting rooms.  On the day of checkout, the reception called us and said because they were fully booked, we have to leave at noon sharp and not one minute more!  They even send a staff to our rooms to watch us pack.  We feel that the front desk could be improved.  Having said that, the hotel enjoys a really central location with walking distance to some of the famous tourist spots, and the breakfast is simple but good.  We especially like the fresh juice which you can make yourself at breakfast.

Nice rooms and good location, a little bit noisy at night during week ends, but all in all a good hotel and a good option in Paris.

The Hotel is positioning as a 4 Star hotel. Unfortunately it needs a lot of renovation inside. As you can see at the pictures there is necessary to renovate the room doors and paint it again. Upon arriving at evening 20.10.24 I was told the hotel doesn’t see my reservation at all and they have no booked room for me. After 30 minutes negotiations, check the data, connection to provider I obtained the room only. As the receptionist told me there was a crackdown of the hotel booking system recently. Thank you for the reception officer to provide me 2 rooms apartment for the first night. The breakfasts were tasty with a good varieties of fresh fruits, quarks and good coffee. Location is perfect for the shoppers absolutely and it is not far away from the Metro stations.
