Not so good room , they use towels for cleaning toilets 😒

La ubicación es muy buena. Y la habitación es lo que es para lo que pagas. Lo malo que en nuestro caso, la ducha estaba rota y habia alguna que otra hormiga que salia del agujero. Además el ascensor estaba roto. Pero dormimos bien y hay restaurantes y sitios chulos cerca.

-On arrival this place looks nothing like it's photos, it's very dirty and disgusting and cheap. -The bedroom door would not lock properly until I hoisted the door up- super worrying as a solo traveler -They preyed on me as a solo traveler. I left the hotel because ii did not feel like a safe environment. -They tried to scam me by saying 'police officers' were after me and they wanted to charge all UK travellers a $135 fee to leave the hotel or I am only allowed out for one hour per day. But this is not true for the rules in France (especially as i am fully vaccinated). They either have the help of corrupt police officers or fake police officers -Two men on the desk were very unhelpful, they are not proper staff this is more like a casual hostel. -I only stayed one night and did not stay for the rest of my trip - they said they would refund me for the remainder of my trip but have not responded to my messages or from *********** directly .They gave me a fake email address, and have not responded to any emails. Really awful- just avoid!!!

The winning part of this hotel has to be the location. Very easy to get to other parts of Paris with the Pigalle metro station a 5 min walk away and lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Also a local supermarket. We were on the sixth floor and we told that the lift wasn't working on our arrival but would be in action the next day, it didn't work for the duration of our 4 day stay. The safe is our room also didn't work. The bedding was clean and we got fresh towels every day. The decor is in major need of an upgrade, with peeling paint and marked/chipped walls in the room. Also bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper as there was noise late each night from a local bar. The man who hosted reception every day was pleasant and helpful, free coffee available in the reception area. We were also able to leave our bags after checking out on our final day for no charge.

I initially posted a review on a similarly named hotel for which I apologise. This place ticks all of the boxes. It's basic but has plenty of hot water, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Assuming you know where it is then you shouldn't get any surprises. Great for eating, drinking and nightlife. I'd stay again. No AC but this was December so no issue. Good value.

The hotel is not in the best area of Paris, but is clean, cheap and the staff are extremely friendly. I was on the seventh floor, which you can get to by using the somewhat arthritic and ancient lift. The main problem with the hotel is the noise. The narrow streets here make sounds echo and even on the seventh floor, I was disturbed by sounds from the street - I would imagine this was much worse on the lower floors. The facilities are reasonable and presentable and internally the hotel is very quiet. The staff are friendly and very helpful (they recommended an excellent restaurant to me that I ate in every night I was in Paris). The breakfast is simple but good. The best recommendation I can give this hotel is that I would stay here again if I were to return to Paris.
