Hotel berhampiran Le Bistro Leonard di Paris

Très bon séjour passé dans cet hôtel. La chambre était très propre, la salle de bain très spacieuse et le service impeccable.

The hotel is located in the middle of Roissy-en-France. This village is essentially made of all business/travel hotels due to proximity with CDG and Bourget Airports & Exhibition Centre. Most hotels in that area have their own restaurant as no much street shops around except the huge Aeroville Shopping/Restaurant Mall which is about 15-20min walking distance from the hotel. Careful though the Auchan Hypermarket close relatively early considering its size and location/purpose. I was a bit disappointed as I was oriented there by the hotel staff when I asked if any supermarket around. It was 8:50pm when I asked and the staff told me it was 10min walking distance (actually 15-20min), but she either didn’t know or failed to inform me that it would be too late by the time I get there as the hypermarket closes at 9pm (sometime even 8:30pm)… si I walked 40-50min round trip for nothing… Regardless of this little miscommunication, the hotel itself is quite convenient with spacious suites only room type. Ideal for business meeting, working from the room and/or organizing luggages prior/after flight. Double beds are quite large ~1.8m but a bit too soft for my personal preference and it’s actually too single beds put together and I could feel the junction part while sleeping which is a bit uncomfortable but beside that all good. Airport also offer free hotel-airport pick-up/drop off service. I tried to contact the hotel by email 1-2 days before arrival to organize pick up from airport through Trip.com hotel email. Intact but didn’t got any reply so finally arranged taxi by myself. For departure drop off from hotel to airport, it was directly offered by reception upon check-in. Booked transportation for next day morning 6:30am for a 9:25am flight. Transportation only took 10-15min We were only 3 passenger in the shuttle bus, all going to CDG terminal 2F which driver asked us but he finally still dropped us at the 2B terminal so we had to walk about 10min to the right terminal. Speaking of airport, I recommend to arrive at least 3h in advance if no priority checkin/boarding as the queue can be very long (even for drop luggage lanes) as airport staffs can be very slow and very/too strict on luggage allowance.

Hôtel à l’accueil sympathique (personnel disponible et souriant, café thé à disposition à la réception), chambre et salle de bains propres, taille correcte (petite douche mais avec pommeau filtrant l’eau, miroir grossissant..), parquet, coffre fort, décoration sobre mais soignée. Seuls points négatifs : chambre peu insonorisée et ascenseur en demi palier. La chambre 56 a une petite terrasse équipée où le soleil de mi-octobre nous a permis (à 9h30) de prendre un agréable café avec une belle vue sur la Tour Eiffel, avant de profiter des alentours de ce quartier vivant à pied : rue du commerce, Centre commercial Beaugrenelle, Île aux cygnes, marché de Grenelle du dimanche et de tout Paris, le métro étant à 2 pas... Un parking (interparking Cambronne) 16€ /jour est situé à proximité mais il est conseillé de réserver à l’avance.

I don't expect luxury from a hostel, but I do expect cleanliness. On the surface the hostel appears clean. Most importantly, the bed sheets and mattress are clean. However, look beyond that and you'll see it's filthy and obviously never given a deep clean. Down the side of the lower bunk there is what must be months and months of rotten food, old socks, dirt and dust that has been allowed to collect. No wonder the room smells so musty and stuffy. My bunk had blood streaks from a squashed bug (and live mosquitoes flying about), as well as sticky finger prints all over the bed panels and window. Furthermore, the noise level is crazy. I understand on a Friday people want to party so the bar was blasting out music and the 1st floor rooms are not sound proof - I actually didn't mind that. What annoyed me was the fact that they were blasting music through the speakers in the 1st floor toilet/shower rooms. WHY?! This made the room and hallways even noisier. Its only saving grace is the location (and free wi-fi). It can feel a bit dodgy walking through there alone as a single woman at night, but so can any big city... The hostel is close to some great bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions (Père Lachaise Cemetery, for example). I'd recommend hiring a bike to get around - there's quite a few Vélib' bike stations a short walk away.

This comfortable and beautiful hostel is so near the Bercy Bus and Train station. You can go the city center and all tourists places via metro, buses in a very short time. There are several good restaurants and cafes near the hostel to eat or have a drink. The room stayed was so clean and comfortable. It also had a balcony. The staff are so kind, understanding,smiled-face and helpful people. I thank them all. If you want to visit Paris for a couple of days as a solo traveller like me, this beautiful, peaceful and safe hostel is a great place for you. I strongly recommend it.

GWに二泊しました。モンパルナス駅もダンフェール・ロシュロー駅も歩いて13分くらいです。 モンパルナス駅発着の空港バスがなくなったので、ダンフェール・ロシュロー駅からRERで乗り換えなく空港に行くことができるのはとても便利です。 地下鉄はゲテ駅が8分くらいのところにあります。 大きな通りにあるホテルなので周りは明るく夜に歩いても怖さはありません。しかも夜は静かです。 モンパルナス駅近くのモノプリの食料品売り場が23:40まで開いているので便利です。 フロントの男性スタッフさんのお一人が日本語が上手でびっくりしました。おまけにとても親切でした。 朝食はバゲットとプチサイズのクロワッサンにパンオショコラにパンオレザンをバスケットに入れて出してくれます。バゲット美味しかったです。 ドリンクはコーヒーか紅茶かショコラを選びポットで出してもらえます。オレンジジュースもでてきます。 それからフィナンシェ、ヨーグルトとジャムとチーズが2,3種類棚においてあります。 朝食があんまりだったら外に食べに行こうかと思ったけれど十分でした。 円安もあって4年ぶりのパリのホテルはとても高く、どこに泊まるか悩んだけれど、ここを選んで正解でした。クラッシックなエレベーターはあるし、部屋は十分な広さです。部屋に冷蔵庫はないけれど値段から考えるととても良いホテルでした。

This was a really great hotel! The staff were lovely and gave the kids a little gift when we arrived. There was hot and cold drinking water available all the time at reception but we took our travel kettle for our room. We were given a quiet room at the back of the hotel which was clean and had enough space for 4 of us. The beds were comfy and there was no noise apart from a few doors slamming and the odd ambulance. There was space to hang clothes but no wardrobe. The shower was hot and there was enough towels. The only bin was a tiny one in the bathroom. We didn’t need the air con so can’t comment on that. Breakfast was good - even my picky eaters ate something. There was enough tables for breakfast apart from the last day when it was very busy at the weekend. 5 minute walk to the metro station and 30 minute journey into the centre of Paris. Would definitely stay again! Thankyou for a lovely holiday!

The staff is helpful. We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Highly recommend to other families because the apartment had all facilities. It is close to the metro station, and walking distance to the supermarket! One downside is that we have to handle our luggages when check in and check out, nobody will help you to carry!

Things to like: pleasant modern boutique vibe in the small lobby area, offering complimentary flavoured water (and croissants later in day). Excellent level of cleanliness. Most staff obliging and friendly especially the male receptionist in the evening. Organic breakfast. Good sized room with comfortable bed and pillows, plus functional bedside tables with adjustable reading lights, usb charge points etc. Air con. Middling: room felt soulless with no cheerful pictures, hard (vinyl?) floor, table too small for keys, phones, brochures, and usual travel paraphernalia. Same with the otherwise well equipped bathroom, but instead of drawers under sink it would be better to have some shelving where his/her toiletries could all sit out. Poor: getting hold of some fresh milk for UK tea drinkers depended on who was at reception. On day of arrival before I could buy any it was reluctantly supplied in a miniature jug! View was of big factory belching out steam from tall steel chimneys, and a delivery yard for lorries. So not scenic. Awful: attitude from “M”. On last day, I had just taken my leave when I remembered something and returned to check in desk. Sorted, I went to leave again but was then asked how many breakfasts I had had. Two, times two, I replied thinking it was just conversational but then: Had I paid? Why, yes, of course. (Breakfasts were paid for as and when booked the day/evening before.) Could I prove it? Did I have the receipts? I was confused. What were they saying and, if I hadn’t intended to pay for the breakfasts, would I have “admitted” having any in first place. Didn’t they have a copy of the receipts? They should have but apparently, not mine. So, in this heat you want me to start unpacking my luggage to see if I still have them buried away. Yes. I take my luggage to an area where I can start to dismantle my cases (it’s very hot by the way) and start sifting through when I’m told that one receipt has been found. But is the only one, there are no others. I keep looking and am actually tearful. I feel like a criminal, certainly treated that way. I finally find a small bag with the majority of my receipts and start going through them when I’m told from the other side of the lobby, I’ve found it. I look up. Pardon? I’ve found it. Sorry. Not really what I would call a heartfelt apology for what I’ve just been put through. I repack my cases and leave. Just to add. The only food my companion and I ate that same day was breakfast from the hotel. I’m a pensioner and she a fit healthy teenager who ate some cold buffet meat and croissant which I did not. A few hours later she was feeling nauseous and by the time we caught our train she was sick twice and not well for a couple of days. I cannot say for sure it was the breakfast which appeared to be fresh and kept well but on the other hand it was the only food she had eaten. To conclude, we had encountered so many very lovely, kind French people on our journey that this was a very sad

Decided to book a last minute trip to Paris & my partner had booked this hotel as part of a package. Upon searching the hotel, I was very skeptical how this hotel would be and had very low standards of arriving due to all the reviews I’d read. The room & hotel were clean and tidy, staff are lovely and nothing was a hassle for them, breakfast was brought out quickly and re-filled if finished! Only downfall being how tiny the bathroom is, quite a struggle getting round about everything in the bathroom as it’s all packed in so tightly & the mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but that bit wasn’t too much of a bother to me as the pillows made up for it! Two stars knocked off primarily for the size of bathroom and mattress but can’t grumble too much due to the price paid! Still very happy and satisfied with our stay.
