Hotel berhampiran Mire du Nord di Paris

Just returned from a lovely weekend at the Timhotel, Montmartre. Have used this hotel many times when in Paris but this is my first visit back in 7 years. Situated in a beautiful square with nearby restaurants and cafes and near to Sacre Coeur. The area was very busy being Easter weekend but nothing detracts from the splendour of the area. The bedroom was small, quite normal for the area, but functional. The bed was so comfortable, with quality pillows and bedding. Lovely en suite bathroom. We didn’t use the hotel for breakfast and tried different cafes where there was an average price of ten euros. The area, like most of Paris, isn’t cheap when it comes to food and drink but still very much worth the money just for the ambience and the sheer pleasure of being in Montmartre! I have to thank all of the hotel reception staff that we met on this visit - kind, helpful, every one. After a bit of a slog from Charles de Gaulle airport by train into Gare de Nord then taxi up to the hotel, we decided to opt for a taxi transfer on the way back and this was arranged by hotel reception without a problem. Well worth it in my opinion. In closing I would highly recommend the Timhotel and again thank the staff for a fabulous stay in Paris.

Desidero nuovamente ringraziare anche per l'ottimo servizio, la cortesia che mi hanno riservato e per essersi prodigati per farmi riavere un paio di occhiali da vista dimenticati sul comodino della camera in cui ho soggiornato. Mi sono arrivati con grande celerità ed in perfette condizioni. Non mancherò di prenotare presso l'Hotel Audran durante la mia prossima visita a Parigi! Grazie mille!

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Montmartre for two nights last weekend and it was a comfortable experience. The hotel is in a good location with lots of cafes, markets, etc. within walking distance. The check in process was smooth. I recommend though, please make sure you pay close attention when they say that breakfast is not included. The only time they tell you this right at check in. The room was very nice. The beds were so comfortable. The shower was nice. The room was nice and clean. They also have a mini fridge. Overall, a good experience.

It has a quite good location. but still little bit far from the city center. And staff at front desk are not that work well. they are sometimes confusing what bed is available. also they are not that concentrating on the online booking. seems like… But really clean and good facilities i highly recommend

I checked into this hotel on March 17th. On March 18th I left the hotel at 11:50 noon. I was the only one in the quadruple room when I left. Other tenants have checked out. I am also confirming that my 20-inch suitcase is locked. And double locked in the 30-inch luggage. And the laptop is locked in the iron cabinet provided by the hotel, and the lock is double-checked. before leaving the room. PM 18:40 I return to the hotel. After charging in the lobby on the first floor, return to the second floor at 19:40 PM. When I opened the door with a magnetic card, I found that the 20-inch suitcase was taken out of the 30-inch suitcase. Both pieces of luggage had been vandalized open and things were missing. The lock on the iron cabinet was also damaged, and the laptop inside was not taken away. I immediately went downstairs to inform the hotel counter and asked her to come upstairs with me. Later, the hotel staff invited me to the police station. I hurried to the police station, and the police station asked me to call 17 when I went back to the hotel. They will follow the procedure. After returning to the hotel, I called at 22:50 PM to 17. At 23:09 PM, the police went to the hotel to understand the scene. One of the policemen who arrived that night told us that room 305 of this hotel had also been burglarized last week. At 11:00 AM on March 19, some policemen went to the hotel room to take photos and questioned me again. They asked me to come to the police station to report the incident. Until the morning of March 21st the manager Michael GIROD went to work, his attitude was not very good, and he did not apologize. Just tell the insurance company. Those who want to stay, please take care of your own property safety and be mentally prepared''The hotel manager will not be very active in dealing with it'' But on the night of the incident, the lady at the counter was really friendly and eager to help. 我3月17日入住這個飯店。 3月18日我中午11:50 離開飯店。 離開時四人房裡只有我一個人。其他房客已退房。 也在確認自己20吋行李箱鎖好。並且雙重鎖在30吋行李箱內。 而筆電鎖在飯店提供的鐵櫃裡，也雙重確認上了鎖頭。才離開房間。 下午PM 18:40 我回到飯店。先在一樓大廳充電完 PM 19:40分回到2樓。 用磁卡打開門時，發現20吋行李箱從30吋行李箱裡被拿出來。 兩件行李都已被破壞打開並遺失東西。 鐵櫃上的鎖頭也被破壞，裡面筆電也不被拿走。 我立即下樓告知飯店櫃台，並請她跟我上樓看。 後來飯店人員請我去警察局。我趕快到了警察局，警察局人員請我再回到飯店先致電17。他們會照程序。 回到飯店後，晚上 PM 22:50 我打了電話到17。晚上 PM 23:09 警察人員就到飯店了解現場。 當晚到場的其中一個警察跟我們說，上週這間飯店的305號房也發生房內竊盜案。 3月19日 AM 11:00 有警察到飯店房間拍照並再詢問後，他們請我過來警察局報案。 一直到等到3月21日上午經理Michael GIROD上班，他態度不是很好，也沒有道歉。只說會告知保險公司。 想要住的人請小心自身財產安全及有心理準備‘’飯店經理不會很積極的處理‘’ 但是事發當晚，櫃台小姐真的很友善且熱心幫忙。

I booked above hotel through Booking.com, where I was going to stay as a tour director the night before going to CDG to meet my group and start a tour to Burgundy, Brittany and Normandy. Unfortunately the tour was cancelled at the last minute due to an unforeseen emergency, and I had no choice but to cancel my reservation at the hotel too. I did so on the morning of the 11th. I tried to cancel it directly with the hotel, but they informed me it had to be done through Booking.com. I next contacted Booking, who told me that it should have been cancelled the day before in order to be free of charge, but that they would do their best for me, and at very least obtain some form of compromise. The following day I received an email from them, indicating that so far there had been no response from the hotel, and therefore suggesting I contact the hotel myself. I called the hotel, but was rudely informed that there was no point cancelling, because the policy was not to allow cancellations from 48 hours prior, and even if I called back the following morning, when the responsible person would be there (that person would not even give me the name), there would be no even meeting me halfway! I then sent an email directly to hotel (also at suggestion of Booking) explaining the situation, but there was never any response to that either. A few hours later I got another email from Booking, telling me that the hotel refused to make any concession whatsoever and still was charging me the full amount!! _168 Euros! I am absolutely shocked at a hotel iso clearly lacking in hospitality, in the ”hospitality” industry. In my 30 year career in the travel/hospitality industry (where I also worked in hotel sales), this is the first time I have ever come across this mentality.... I would certainly not recommend this hotel, even though i have not seen it; if there is such a lack of respect for the guests, how can a stay there be in any way pleasurable?

We very much enjoyed our stay here and found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a boutique vibe and has been recently updated with a cool art deco style. The room was very clean and modern although small. However I noticed there are larger floor plans available and understand rooms are smaller in larger cities. The area was very walkable and close to many attractions as well as metro. Our fondest memory of this stay is related to the hospitality and genuine friendliest of the staff. They made every effort to communicate with us despite our poor attempts to speak the French language.
