In the 6th off a quiet street but close to shopping, brassieres and cafes, and a metro stop. Had a lovely room overlooking the courtyard. Quirky and artsy decor. Hospitable and helpful staff (and so patient with first time Paris visitors). Our room was always very clean; small but I think typical sq ft for Paris. It was perfect for us. Great value for the money.

The hotel is excellently located at the heart of the Latin Quarter, less than 50 meters from the Place de St. Michel. The hotel staff are extremely nice, funny and helpful. They offered us a room with a balcony and truly made our stay in Paris the most romantic ever. It was near the Tootbus stop, walking distance from Notre Dame, right beside the Metro and from Gare du Nord to the hotel by taxi was quite affordable. Some things maybe not so convenient was the size of the toilet and the noise from the streets below in the evening. Early morning wee hours we can hear some youths drunk and making noise below. But overall the lovely outlook of the building and its location outweighs any challenges. We highly recommend this hotel. The next time we're in Paris, we will surely return to this place.

It has a quite good location. but still little bit far from the city center. And staff at front desk are not that work well. they are sometimes confusing what bed is available. also they are not that concentrating on the online booking. seems like… But really clean and good facilities i highly recommend

I stayed in this hotel 18 years ago when I got married in Paris and it heals a very special place in my heart. Returning now, I am thrilled to find it still holds the spirit of the artists who inspire the design, even though it has been remodeled and does not look the same. The boutique space is spearheaded by the same lovely man who helped us so many years ago. He is the hotel’s greatest asset. Sanjay has a way of making his guests feel like their needs and preferences are all individually known and anticipated. The entire staff under his direction remember my face, my drink preferences, my taste in culture and food for perfect suggestions. I cannot think of any place I have stayed where the staff has been so in tune with my needs. Highly highly recommend staying here!

It was an overnight stay when coming to Paris for the first time. It was important for me that the hotel was close to the center. I was completely satisfied with the location and conditions of the hotel. Pleasant interior, amenities, good and responsive staff. I can definitely recommend it to other potential overnighters who want to explore Paris.

A pleasant surprise! My initial thought was the studio room is not able to accomodate an additional bed (request) due to space constraint. However, the room being offered (in block 1) was very spacious than I expected. It seemed to be newly revamped which totally do not reflect those negative reviews by previous guests. Room was surprisingly new & clean. Coffee machine was a bonus! Good location. Walk across the river to Lourve, shopping at Samaritaine & Les Halles.

The premium quadruple room is newly renovated and had huge comfortable bathroom with bath tub and separate shower room and wc. The quadruple room had a king bed and a queen sofa bed. When the sofa bed is opened there's no room to walk. The main lift broke down one the day we checked out. Luckily there are other smaller lifts nearby. Breakfast was very good with sausages bacan boiled eggs and many types of pastries, cereal, milk, juices and coffee. Very convenient location.

Best hotel! Made for a perfect home base for our mom daughter trip! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Every time we walked into the hotel we felt at home. Sanjay was incredible! He made us feel like we were the most special guests at the hotel and we know he made everyone feel that way! He was always checking in to see if we needed anything and see how we were doing. I contacted him a month or 2 prior to our stay and he made wonderful suggestions! He made us reservations for dinners- each one more delicious than the other and helped us secure tickets during our trip within minutes of asking! The airline lost our luggage and he worked diligently to help us get it back the next day. The hotel is truly lovely, decorated beautifully, comfortable and clean! We really enjoyed getting into bed after full days on our feet! Location was perfect too! When we return to Paris we will 100% stay here again and recommend it to our family and friends. First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work.
