Adorable boutique hotel with very friendly staff, a cute lobby and beautifully decorated rooms and comfy beds. My room was on the smaller side but plenty big for one or two people. It looked out over the street, had a pretty French balcony, and was bright and airy. Delicious and generous complimentary breakfast is served in a cute room behind the lobby, and you can also eat or relax in the courtyard. The hotel's location is great if you are looking to be away from the busyness of the city centre. Lots of shops and restaurants, and walking distance to a huge park with a small lake, walking trails, woods, and the Parc Zoologique de Paris. A really relaxing spot if you want to relax and slow down a bit. Loved it; would definitely stay there again!

‘Extra’- Ordinary is the PERFECT way in which to define my stay at Grand Hotel Doré! The boutique welcome makes you feel welcomed & valued. The tree lined picturesque area of Daumensil is truly special. Zyad, Feta & Willd gave exceptional genuine hospitality to every person, all the time. There were times that I was lucky enough to overhear and see them interact with other guests. And, this made me realize that they treat every person that chooses Grand Hôtel Dore with a very warm ‘ French heart’. Feta & Willd have enough room in their hearts for EVERYONE……. All the first class unexpected amenities like… Central A/C ( not split units), ice machine, and fresh quality breakfast options make this boutique hotel the BEST decision for accommodation. Located within a 1 minuete walk from the Daumesnil metro station and only 5 stops from the RER B. Then the sights of Paris await your adventure. When doing your research on many paris hotels, you will have your list of needs and wants. You may even think that you chose the hotel that checks off the majority of those wants. However, if you are fortunate enough to stay at Grand Hotel Dore,you will soon realize that this hotel chooses you. We hope you are lucky enough to be chosen……

Very good hotel. Of course, Ibis Budget Hotel is not a luxury hotel, but for a low price you can stay very affordable. The metro station is about a 10-minute walk away, the staff is helpful, and the breakfasts due to the combination with the Ibis hotel are above standard. We will definitely be back again.

El hotel queda en la parte sur de París, no tan cerca de la parte turística de la ciudad, pero está cerca de una estación de metro. Inicialmente, estábamos super preocupados por los comentarios de chinches en los cuartos, pero afortunadamente no paso nada de eso, pero se que a unos amigos que iban con nosotros, si tuvieron problemas con los chinches, parece que es algo de suerte. Los cuartos son algo pequeños: una cama, una barra para colgar chaquetas y una pequeña mesa con una silla y lucen algo antiguas las habitaciones. El agua caliente funciona bien. La calefacción no la usamos ya que no hacía tanto frío. Al baño le falta algo de limpieza, tenia mucho moho. El desayuno es buffet y es bastante bueno con diferentes opciones. El servicio del personal también fue muy bueno. Fueron muy amables. Solo un detalle para que tengan cuidado. Un día salimos todo el día y cuando regresamos, la puerta estaba entreabierta. Al parecer, la persona de la limpieza al salir, no cerró bien la puerta. Afortunadamente no se nos perdió nada, pero la verdad nos asustamos mucho.

Among the few hostels that I stayed this one value for money. The bunk beds are nice with own power outlet and lighting. The only issue is that there is no place to hang clothes or towel. The toilet is clean and it is daily maintain by cleaning staff. There is a common kitchen where you can cook, make hot drinks and all the pans and cookery you require to cook a simple meal. Like all other hostels, it’s the guests that mess it up and it’s no surprise that the kitchen wasn’t clean after using the stove while other hostels has wet and messy shared bathrooms. Apart from that minor issue this hostel is highly recommended. All bookings done online are maintained and records are all there when checking in and out. Very central location with short walks to train stations and attractions. Notre Dame cathedral is just 10mins walk away. This is a “must” book hostel for your next visit to Paris.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at the Gardette Park hotel. While the room was on the smaller side, which is to be expected in Central Paris, it provided ample space for me. It would also be suitable for a couple, as long as they don't have too much luggage. The bed was comfortable and impeccably clean. One of the highlights of the room was the balcony, which overlooked the beautiful trees of Gardette Park. There was a coffee maker in the room, along with a sufficient supply of capsules, tea, and a kettle. Additionally, the reception area offered a tea, coffee, and chocolate machine, which guests could use at any time. Although I didn't choose the breakfast option, there were plenty of nearby alternatives available. The quiet atmosphere at night ensured a restful sleep. The lady at the reception (she speaks English, French, and Italian very well) was exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful, making my interactions with the staff a pleasant experience. The hotel's location was fantastic, with a close proximity to excellent restaurants, supermarkets, and a vibrant city (including night) life. While I didn't prioritize visiting major Paris attractions during this particular trip, they were only 30 minutes away. For those arriving from the airport (I personally used Orly and departed from CDG), the nearest metro station, Richard Lenoir, was a convenient 10-minute walk. However, if you have a substantial amount of luggage to transport, there are bus or Uber options to minimize the walking distance. Overall, my stay at the Gardette Park hotel was delightful, and I highly recommend it.

Location is perfect. Just right in front of Gare Du Nord station. Free 2bottles of beer, soft drink & some snacks was a plus. Just the room a little tiny. Well, we knew it when we make booking. A lots of restaurant & cafe just right on the same streets with hotel.

Me and my friend booked three nights here over the weekend. The hotel staff were lovely and helpful during our stay. Breakfast was as described (a simple continental). Good wifi was available, room was a decent size, bed was comfy, good shower water pressure although it was slightly too short for anyone over 5’6 but we coped. Cleaner came every day but did leave the window wide open and we were on the first floor facing the front so not quite safe. Area itself is nice in the day but at night we felt unsafe as two young women so opted to stay at the hotel as it got dark. During most of our stay, electricity was fine but twice it did go out in the plug sockets for a few minutes so we couldn’t charge or use any appliances. Overall, we got what we paid for and it was a good budget holiday and would recommend if you’re not looking to spend loads.

While the location is outstanding the hotel lacks key service like restaurants, room service and concierge . Only one person at the front desk who is always busy doing everything ( check in and out, cashier, housekeeping, information, etc. ) you have to wait for along time to be answered on any questions!!! I have notified the hotel ahead of time that we are on our honeymoon and requested a king size bed but ended up with two beds!!? and there is not any honeymoon arrangements
