Hotel berhampiran Villeroy & Boch di Paris

Very good location. In the heart of Roissy en France A perfect place to stay if you have a connection flight at CDG. Take a walk around you wouldn’t regret. Transfer runs very bad. I was waiting more then hour then call to trip.com but even trip.com couldn’t help so it’s arrived after 1,5 hours.

GWに二泊しました。モンパルナス駅もダンフェール・ロシュロー駅も歩いて13分くらいです。 モンパルナス駅発着の空港バスがなくなったので、ダンフェール・ロシュロー駅からRERで乗り換えなく空港に行くことができるのはとても便利です。 地下鉄はゲテ駅が8分くらいのところにあります。 大きな通りにあるホテルなので周りは明るく夜に歩いても怖さはありません。しかも夜は静かです。 モンパルナス駅近くのモノプリの食料品売り場が23:40まで開いているので便利です。 フロントの男性スタッフさんのお一人が日本語が上手でびっくりしました。おまけにとても親切でした。 朝食はバゲットとプチサイズのクロワッサンにパンオショコラにパンオレザンをバスケットに入れて出してくれます。バゲット美味しかったです。 ドリンクはコーヒーか紅茶かショコラを選びポットで出してもらえます。オレンジジュースもでてきます。 それからフィナンシェ、ヨーグルトとジャムとチーズが2,3種類棚においてあります。 朝食があんまりだったら外に食べに行こうかと思ったけれど十分でした。 円安もあって4年ぶりのパリのホテルはとても高く、どこに泊まるか悩んだけれど、ここを選んで正解でした。クラッシックなエレベーターはあるし、部屋は十分な広さです。部屋に冷蔵庫はないけれど値段から考えるととても良いホテルでした。

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. Would highly recommend this Hostel. Location is right next to a metro but also a good walking to distance from many other metros and place de la nation which is great for restaurants. Didn’t eat at the hostel so can’t comment on that but the buffet breakfast did look good & all guests get 10% off food and their own beer during the stay. I found all the facilities to be clean, the bathrooms are out with the bedrooms which I find to be good as you don’t have to be dead silent. Could be doing with a door to the urinal and some hooks on the toilet doors and not just the shower door. Rooms are decent sized the only downside was the positioning of the main room lights & switch. if left on overnight was annoying and very bright. Each bed has a light though which is good when the main light is off. Hairdryer also available which can be taken to the bathroom. Friendly staff and large reception/bar area where there is something on most nights with lots of people in attendance. I was a solo traveller this occasion and would recommend to others.

I had to pay €150 as a security deposit, which Trip.com never mentioned anywhere. However, the hotel receptionist showed me that they had mentioned this security deposit on all other platforms like booking.com. Apart from that, the hotel staff were really nice to us and explained the security deposit process. They also refunded the deposit upon our check-out. I think this hotel needs renovation as their AC is not working properly, and the carpet is really old. However, it was fine for my two-day trip.

Great location for any departure from Montparnasse station. There is a mall nearby with the essentials stores inside, a Franprix and a Bistro higher up. I totally recommend that hotel and I plan to come back to try the Sky-bar, unfortunately all bookings are done online and none on site. I stayed for one night and got upgraded that was a nice surprise despite having a communicating bedroom. Nice view and all the amenities in the room were good. The shower style was a first for me, not a fan of the style but that’s a small details.

We booked this hotel in advance as part of our journey home from holiday for a few days to show the kids Paris. Admittedly i thought I booked closer to the centre of Paris. Booked a family room. Arrived..area wasn’t my vision of Paris and the room i booked was no longer avail due to renovations…we only found out upon arrival. However the staff were amazing at ensuring our stay went smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to rectify the issue. At no stage was anything a problem. Some of the best customer service I’ve encountered and the staff are a real credit to the Hotel. Area outside was probably more the ‘real’ Paris rather than the romantic version .You wouldn’t walk alone in the dark! . However location after got my head around everything was actually great. Felt safer here than i did around some of the tourist spots! Metro is literally yards across the road and you were in the heart of Paris in no time. We used the underground as its the best and cheapest way to get around the city. Highly recommend and we zipped around the city and got to see alot in 48 hours. Don’t be put off by other people’s reviews. No city hotel is perfect but the team here take pride in thier jobs. Accommodation is clean, modern. Car park is mega handy…albeit a tight and small underground one.

Almost directly adjacent to the Gare de l'est main entrance 3-4 min walk. We booked a comfort room but we're upgraded to the next level so very start. Room very clean and comfortable with no issues. Although we only stayed for one night, we thought it was a great location with a metro station only yards away. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Would have no hesitation recommending this hotel. We did not have breakfast in hotel as we had train to catch, but made use of there express option @5€ which was excellent value.

Seperti biasa, sambutan yang sangat hangat, bersih. Sama seperti masalah kecil seperti biasa, bilik orang kurang upaya berada di seberang koridor, ketika kita berada di tingkat bawah, bilik itu jauh dari restoran dan pintu masuk dan ketika kita di tingkat atas, bilik itu jauh dari lif. Jika tidak, hotel ini sangat bagus.

Things to like: pleasant modern boutique vibe in the small lobby area, offering complimentary flavoured water (and croissants later in day). Excellent level of cleanliness. Most staff obliging and friendly especially the male receptionist in the evening. Organic breakfast. Good sized room with comfortable bed and pillows, plus functional bedside tables with adjustable reading lights, usb charge points etc. Air con. Middling: room felt soulless with no cheerful pictures, hard (vinyl?) floor, table too small for keys, phones, brochures, and usual travel paraphernalia. Same with the otherwise well equipped bathroom, but instead of drawers under sink it would be better to have some shelving where his/her toiletries could all sit out. Poor: getting hold of some fresh milk for UK tea drinkers depended on who was at reception. On day of arrival before I could buy any it was reluctantly supplied in a miniature jug! View was of big factory belching out steam from tall steel chimneys, and a delivery yard for lorries. So not scenic. Awful: attitude from “M”. On last day, I had just taken my leave when I remembered something and returned to check in desk. Sorted, I went to leave again but was then asked how many breakfasts I had had. Two, times two, I replied thinking it was just conversational but then: Had I paid? Why, yes, of course. (Breakfasts were paid for as and when booked the day/evening before.) Could I prove it? Did I have the receipts? I was confused. What were they saying and, if I hadn’t intended to pay for the breakfasts, would I have “admitted” having any in first place. Didn’t they have a copy of the receipts? They should have but apparently, not mine. So, in this heat you want me to start unpacking my luggage to see if I still have them buried away. Yes. I take my luggage to an area where I can start to dismantle my cases (it’s very hot by the way) and start sifting through when I’m told that one receipt has been found. But is the only one, there are no others. I keep looking and am actually tearful. I feel like a criminal, certainly treated that way. I finally find a small bag with the majority of my receipts and start going through them when I’m told from the other side of the lobby, I’ve found it. I look up. Pardon? I’ve found it. Sorry. Not really what I would call a heartfelt apology for what I’ve just been put through. I repack my cases and leave. Just to add. The only food my companion and I ate that same day was breakfast from the hotel. I’m a pensioner and she a fit healthy teenager who ate some cold buffet meat and croissant which I did not. A few hours later she was feeling nauseous and by the time we caught our train she was sick twice and not well for a couple of days. I cannot say for sure it was the breakfast which appeared to be fresh and kept well but on the other hand it was the only food she had eaten. To conclude, we had encountered so many very lovely, kind French people on our journey that this was a very sad
