Very nice and colorful designed hotel. The breakfast was of very good quality, we would have enjoyed more fruit variety though. The room was clean and spacious but we couldn’t get the night lights turned off. Very friendly and patient staff, especially Rachel took very well care of us.

We stayed at the hotel for my husband's birthday and had a great time. Loved the heated pool and jacuzzi. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, very cramped and staff were struggling to keep up, did not feel like a five star experience. Balcony really tiny with no view, so not one you could actually use. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly.

Excellent all round and staff offer and provide terrific service. Dining areas SO clean which continues ongoing throughout the day and food very well done ✅. Cappuccino R very tasty. Very happy with the service regarding my order for additional services - eg surprise flowers and a birthday cake. All was very well communicated and the execution was exceptional - was a lovely surprise for my partner. Breakfast was also delicious. Thank you Grand for making our stay truely memorable.

Smelly rooms. Towels looked grey. The air-conditioning exhaust fan is connected directly to the hallway and makes it unbearably hot once walking out of our unit. This terrible design also renders the air-conditioning inside the room ineffective when the hot air being pumped out eventually seeps though the gap between the door and the walls/floor mixing with the cooler air in the apartment. I have to commend the engineer who thought of this ingenious way to waste energy and torture hotel guests while the aforementioned guests were trying their best to do their part in saving sea turtles by sipping tepid drinks in their psuedo sauna rooms with paper straws which slowly melt into pulps, at the same time pondering what life choices they have made to deserve this. As a group of atheists, we couldn't help but reflect and repent. Hell does exist. It might be akin to staying in an apartment eqiuped with an infinite heating loop during the scorching summer of Adelaide. The A/C eventually failed completely in two out of three rooms during our second night of stay. We did not ask for help from the hotel staff as it's already 2am. After one long sleepless night, we rushed back to the Northern Hemisphere and accepted Jesus Christ as our only lord and saviour. Amen.

It was ok, but not more. The two most important things for me in any hotel are a comfortable bed and a good shower. the bed was great but the water pressure in the shower was very poor. Aside from that, there were other issues that I would not expect from a hotel of this standard, carrying the prices it does. The TV power button did not work, neither did any of the top buttons on the remote. Once I turned the TV on at the GPO and then on the actual TV itself, I was unable to use the connected DVD player as the buttons to switch to it on the remote did not work. Breakfast was quite poor. Basically cereal or scrambled eggs with a few other options such as fruit cups, yoghurt and biscuits. It served my purpose being close to the convention centre, but I doubt I'd stay there again.

As I was going to be leaving from the Parklands Train Terminal early in the morning this hotel was perfectly situated for my trip. Although I wasn't at the hotel for very long only about 12hrs overnight it was a good location and the room faced the parking so meant it was quieter as well and didn't get the hot afternoon sun either. I would say though there was no pricelist I could find for the mini-bar, not that I used it was only thinking of grabbing some cold water that was in the fridge. The one thing I wasn't a fan was the spa tub/shower combo. The jets need a serious clean all around them but then even standing in it meant anyone tall as in 6'5” plus may have to bend down. I would think they should rip out the spa tub and put in a nicer rain shower shower stall instead maybe just provide spa tubs in rooms that you can also put a shower stall into. I'd stay here again mainly for the location as it's also right across the street from the big park area which was fantastic to walk around on a warm evening after dinner at the pub up the street.

Really happy with this hotel. It offered excellent value for money — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped without the price tag of a hotel. The staff were helpful and the location made getting around easy.

The location is definitely the biggest plus – right in the middle of the CBD and within walking distance of pretty much everything. That said, the downside is the noise. The hotel is on Hindley Street, so if you’re staying on a Friday or Saturday night, expect to be woken up by people shouting outside. I stayed on the top (4th) floor and could still hear everything, so I can only imagine what the lower floors are like. The building is very old and the windows offer almost no sound insulation. The rooms are also very dated. There’s nothing modern about them, and the furniture and fittings show obvious signs of wear and tear. The shower was another frustration. It takes around 10 minutes to get the water temperature right, and even then it keeps changing between very hot and cold while you’re showering. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth paying around $100 per night. During my stay in Adelaide, I found much better hotels for only $10–20 more per night. If your priority is location and you’re not bothered by noise or older facilities, it might suit you. Otherwise, I’d recommend spending a little extra for a much better experience.

Safe enviroment for solo traveller..a little tired and needing an upgrade  but handy location in good area. Gardens and grounds need tidying. Always enjoy my stay here
