Stayed one night at the Hyatt Centric Chengdu and left genuinely impressed. The hotel strikes a nice balance between modern design and warmth and the room was well-appointed, clean. What stood out most was the staff. Yuki in particular was exceptionally friendly and helpful, she went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed, offered thoughtful local recommendations, and did so with genuine warmth rather than rehearsed hospitality. That kind of attentiveness is rare and made a real difference to the experience. There is also a schnauzer called Lucky, and is a residnet dog at the hotel. Super cute! Breakfast was great, lots of Chengdu delicacy as options and great western choices too. This is definitely my top choice for a Chengdu stay!

The hotel is located in the heart of Tianfu Square at the Lamborghini Center, making it extremely convenient to get around! The rooms are luxurious and spacious, with exquisite marble flooring, cleanliness, and no unpleasant odors. All necessary amenities are available, including a refrigerator, microwave, and washing/drying machine, which cater to daily needs. The Dyson hairdryer enhances the overall experience. The housekeeping staff are friendly, responsive, and meticulous in their cleanliness, ensuring that every corner is spotless. The overall design is elegant, the space is spacious and bright, and the living conditions are comfortable and stylish. It’s perfect for business trips or travels, and I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel — it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at the front desk, in the restaurant, and the housekeeping team all perform their work professionally while maintaining a genuinely friendly attitude toward guests. The location is very convenient, just a couple of minutes from the nearest metro station. Within walking distance, there are great local shops, the Chengdu Museum, the Sichuan Museum, the park and cottage of the poet Du Fu, as well as a beautiful canal area with pedestrian paths and lanterns. I also walked to Kuanzhai Alley, People’s Park, and other attractions. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed and even a bit more. The large, comfortable bed and full blackout curtains made it easy to get a great night’s sleep. Everything was clean and looked brand new. I also tried the traditional Chengdu-style set of six snacks a couple of times and really enjoyed it. Live music was another very приятный бонус, especially if you appreciate tradition and refined local character. Thank you very much for such a pleasant stay, and best of luck to the team. This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms. Some noteworthy details: - Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort. - The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include: (a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now! (b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room (c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C. (d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold. - Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them. - We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away. - We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2. - Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too. - We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests. Areas of improvement: - Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake. - The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper. - Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor). The service was exceptional. The girls at the front desk were very helpful with answering our questions and helping us make sure we had a great visit with the Pandas. They also explained exactly where to go for our train departure. We were confused by Chengdudong having 4 plus drop off points. They also gave us extra water and adorable Panda headbands on our departure. The room was clean and very comfortable. Everything was provided so we had a comfortable stay. They even had memory foam pillows. They had lots of freshly ground coffee in the morning as well as an excellent buffet Breakfast. The location was excellent. We walked to the Wenshu Monastery and to Kuanzhai Xiangzi alleys. We are pleased we choose to stay at this hotel in Chengdu.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The homestay had such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. There's a lift that takes you up to Level 2 where the homestay is located. While there isn't a lift within the homestay itself, it wasn't an issue at all because the owner was incredibly kind and even insisted on carrying our luggage all the way up to our room on the third floor. We truly appreciated such a thoughtful gesture! The hospitality and service were exceptional throughout our stay. For my Muslim friends, there's a delicious halal food stall located just outside the homestay. It was so good that we went back to buy takeaway for dinner later that night! The location is also convenient, with many tourist attractions nearby. We found taking a DiDi to be the easiest and most comfortable way to get around. Overall, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for a better host. Thank you for making our trip such a memorable one, we would definitely stay here again!

Love the location - 5mins walk to massage 金足印象, eatery within walking, easy to take bus. Love the breakfast especially - good options and taste. They even help with breakfast packing if you have early flight (bread, milk and egg) but as I’m vegetarian, they kindly allowed food takeaway from restaurant. Comfortable room - spacious, clean and with smart 小度 Love the convenience - Taobao delivery, luggage storage arrangement, laundry service. Value for money - there were perks from the booking. Others - free flow coffee and fruit/ flower tea at reception area, snacks Would definitely come back if I’m back to this city again

Overall, we had a very good stay. Before booking, I had read many reviews, so the hotel was pretty much what I expected. The comments about the carpet cleanliness were accurate, as it looked a bit worn and not completely clean, and some of the Executive Room details matched what other guests had mentioned. However, the room was comfortable and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Considering the price and location, it was a good choice and we would stay here again.

After our initial stay and having to extend due to a medical emergency we decided to extend at this hotel without any consideration due to our very pleasant fist experience. Initially the staff provided excellent assitance with our visa renewal. Then after my wife was discharged from the hospital we needed to buy a wheelchair. This proved quite challenging as we don't speak Chinese. Also our version of Ali Pay did not work on the online purchasing platform and we could also not manage to get WeChat pay to work. The hotel placed the order and paid for the wheelchair and allowed us to reimburse them in cash later. When the wheelchair was delivered one of the wheels were broken. The hotel did not hesitate to liaise with the online platform for the return and replacement. But I said that we are leaving in two days so the replacement wheelchair would not arrive on time. No problemm They placed an emergency order for a replacement wheel chair to be deliver with 30 minutes. Seriously! It was delivered 20 minutes later. Amazing! Only on China. They also paid for the replacement and we reimbursed them. By the time we left, They even reimbursed us for the broken wheelchair and said they will get the refund from the online vendor since they had ordered and paud for the wheelchair. On between all this they noticed that one day I had come down for a late breakfast and there was not much food left when I arrived - literally a few minutes before closure of the dining room. Then they gave me a gift along with an apology note for the lack of available options at breakfast when I arrived late. Man! The staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing. All of them. When we left they said they hope we will return to Chengdu. We'll I hope so too and when I do, I will definitely stay at the Huawei Hotel Taisheng South Subway Station. Without a doubt my best hotel ever. To put that in perspective, I have travel to 45 countries, some of them multiple times staying from 1 to 30 nights at different hotels. So I must have stayed at close to 100 hotels, including many 5 star hotels, for a total of over 500 nights. And The Huawei Hotel Taisheng South Subway Station was my best experience.
