The check-in was slightly unpleasant stating i only book for two but I clearly indicated 3. All that sorted when I understand that it was all sorted. The view of this place is absolutely amazing! Crazy beaufiful. However, if you're accessing this place via public transport. It is a nightmare getting off Bus 7322 and walking up is too much to managed 😫 Wish the hotel would have provided the transport for pickup at least to make the price worth paying for as it was a bit steep. Nevertheless, the view can't compare and truly put you on cloud 9.

The hotel was lovely we stayed there for the lantern festival but it was pretty far from anything else! Room was nice and the staff were great! Very friendly as a foreigner! Snacks in room were ok but a free coffee machine in the hotel to be able to get a latte or milk tea would be much appreciated!

It is a beautiful stay. Aside from the wrong choice of transport, all are great. From comfort of accomodation, hospitality of the owner and workers to the delicious food and drinks. Advice: take a car to and from the accom or be like us, we took bus and pushed our luggages up the very steep slope on a high altitude, almost killing ourselves! Haa.

Before we arrived, the hotel sent multiple messages to remind us about the soundproof situation due to old hotel construction. However during our one night stay we were not once bothered by the noise. The room was indeed small, not the best fit for people travelling with large luggage. Besides that we love everything about the hotel. We arrived on a super rainy afternoon where the hotel shuttle really came in handy. When the weather is good, the hotel is just a short 5 mins walk from Alishan train station and 10 mins from the bus station. The hotel staff were also amazingly friendly, answering all the questions we had on what to do and getting around. Would definitely stay here again if we come back in the future.

I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Applause in the Mountain. Surrounded by nature, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning mountain views made this a truly relaxing escape from the city. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully designed to blend with the natural surroundings. Waking up to the fresh air and scenic views was definitely a highlight of the stay. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and very attentive, making sure everything was comfortable throughout my visit. Their hospitality really added a personal touch to the experience. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway to recharge and reconnect with nature, this is the perfect place. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend it!

Situated just behind the town centre, it's a small boutique hotel amongst the row of hotels in the town centre. The bathroom & room are renovated so it's modern & comfortable. There's an electric blanket which heats up the bed & should be switched off once it's warm. Surprisingly the room doesn't have heating but is well insulated. There's no shower door & bathroom gets abit wet no matter how carefully the spray is kept in. No point warning that the floor gets slippery.

A bit expensive for the quality of the hotel you get, but you are really paying for the location. It's very close to the train station where you depart to see sunrise, about a 5 minute walk. The hotel was a bit outdated, but clean and comfortable enough. The door has a big gap underneath it, so you can clearly hear people outside in the hallway. Luckily, no one was that loud, but if you happen to have loud neighbors, you will definitely hear them.

地點位置不錯，飯店人員服務很好，會貼心告知各個訊息，迎賓下午茶超讚的，一人一杯飲料加一大份小蛋糕，真的很優，推....房間很大也乾淨，三溫暖設備老舊，池子有點髒，spa也壞了，烤箱和蒸氣室也沒開，若能稍加整理一定更幫棒！泳池一大一小，spa水不深,大人spa小孩玩水好不錯，風景也美麗，早餐雖說不上很豐盛，但該有的都有，竟然還提供牛肉湯，超級加分，因為整修中沒有音樂會，期待整修好後再次入住，感受不同渡假氛圍

Location is very central to the park which is the biggest plus point for the hotel. It came with a basic breakfast ( it’s okay to skip if your timing doesn’t fit). The room is small but is consider pretty standard in Taiwan. Staffs are helpful and friendly and you can arrange tour in the hotel. Water pressure for shower is good but the temperature seems like is dependable on other users, so it can be very hot and cold. The room is warm with a dehumidifier. The bed is quite hard but usable. Sound proofing is insufficient, we can hear next door brushing teeth and shower in the middle of the night. Though for the purpose of staying in the Alishan, I would say it would still be a reasonable pricing and stay because it is likely it is a short stay.
