We had a mixed but memorable stay here. The vibes and decor are lovely, and the restaurant view is truly breathtaking—it’s easily the highlight of the property. Having breakfast and dinner overlooking the mountains was a beautiful experience. However, there are a few things to keep in mind: • The Room: Our room was very small and the layout had some design choices that felt like a falling hazard (tripping risks). • Location: The property is very remote. For foreign tourists, it is quite inconvenient to navigate because the hotel does not offer any shuttle or tour services to help guests explore the area. • Duration: The food is decent, but because of the size of the rooms and the remote nature, we felt one night was more than enough to enjoy the view and moving on.

適合帶小孩放空。 整體環境乾淨舒服，空間比想像中大，從進門開始就有一種安定、輕鬆的感覺。 親子空間遊戲區維持得不錯，小朋友可以自己玩，大人能稍微坐著喘口氣🤣 動線也算順，不會有一直追小孩很累的感覺。 早餐比原本預期豐富， 飯店位置也方便，離故宮南院很近， 晚上散步舒服，不會太吵，適合家庭旅遊慢慢玩。 泳池雖然不是超大型，但拍照跟放空感不錯， 整體屬於「放空舒服型」而不是浮誇型飯店。 如果是： • 親子旅遊 • 想找乾淨舒服的飯店 • 不想太擠太吵 • 想安排嘉義慢旅行 我覺得這間中等可以收進名單裡。

Really, really enjoyed my stay. The host is extremely kind and helpful. They brought to some local trails and offered to take me to the bus station whenever I needed. The tea is delicious and I really enjoyed my stay and the surrounding area. One of the most beautiful places I’ve seen in Taiwan.

I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Applause in the Mountain. Surrounded by nature, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning mountain views made this a truly relaxing escape from the city. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully designed to blend with the natural surroundings. Waking up to the fresh air and scenic views was definitely a highlight of the stay. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and very attentive, making sure everything was comfortable throughout my visit. Their hospitality really added a personal touch to the experience. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway to recharge and reconnect with nature, this is the perfect place. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend it!

Environment is peaceful and suitable for people who drive because it's quite far away from Taiping Bridge and not accessible by public transport. So we ended with plenty of time after arrival. So we engaged a private car to chauffeur us the next day for NT3500 from Minsu to Taiping Bridge (too misty to see anything), then had lunch at Fenqihu and finally stopped at Alishan hotel. We should have stuck to original plan to just go Fenqihu for NT1000 transport fare and stay there for a night because when we reached Alishan, it was near 3:30p.m., there's not much time for us to roam the place due to the gloomy weather and heavy mist.

Great location and lovely staff, but underwhelming for the price. The location is excellent, and the staff are genuinely kind and welcoming. That said, for the price, I expected more. The room felt very basic—almost clinical—with just two bags of tea and a couple of IKEA-style cups. No extra touches or decorative effort. Breakfast was disappointing as well; everything was already cold, and the selection was minimal. The day before, we stayed somewhere for half the price and had a breakfast that was twice as good. Nothing was bad per se, but overall it didn’t feel like good value, and we likely won’t book again.

Tetapi dijaga dengan baik Sangat dekat dengan Xiaoqi di Alishan Sarapan pagi yang disediakan oleh hotel dan restoran juga sedap Ia juga sangat mudah untuk pergi ke stesen Persekitaran bilik cukup baik Tandas telah disusun semula Katilnya juga agak selesa Dan anda boleh menambah selimut jika perlu. Tetapi saya berharap meja kopi boleh digantikan dengan meja yang lebih besar di dalam bilik Lebih baik makan

地點位置不錯，飯店人員服務很好，會貼心告知各個訊息，迎賓下午茶超讚的，一人一杯飲料加一大份小蛋糕，真的很優，推....房間很大也乾淨，三溫暖設備老舊，池子有點髒，spa也壞了，烤箱和蒸氣室也沒開，若能稍加整理一定更幫棒！泳池一大一小，spa水不深,大人spa小孩玩水好不錯，風景也美麗，早餐雖說不上很豐盛，但該有的都有，竟然還提供牛肉湯，超級加分，因為整修中沒有音樂會，期待整修好後再次入住，感受不同渡假氛圍

This place is overpriced for what it is. It was the most expensive accommodation we have stayed in Taiwan, and by far the worst. Of course you are paying for stunning location in the national park, and apparently all Alishan accommodation is similarly overpriced/run down, however there is no need to charge so much (other than to boost their profits of course). The hotel is dated and run down. Room was dark and dinghy. The bed was so uncomfortable - rock solid mattress and awful pillow. The bathroom was not clean, but hot water was great. WiFi was mostly good. The breakfast looked and smelt so bad they we couldn’t even try it. But we had an amazing time in Alishan and the hotel was perfectly located to base ourselves and get some rest, so don’t expect luxury, but appreciate the convenience.

Location is very central to the park which is the biggest plus point for the hotel. It came with a basic breakfast ( it’s okay to skip if your timing doesn’t fit). The room is small but is consider pretty standard in Taiwan. Staffs are helpful and friendly and you can arrange tour in the hotel. Water pressure for shower is good but the temperature seems like is dependable on other users, so it can be very hot and cold. The room is warm with a dehumidifier. The bed is quite hard but usable. Sound proofing is insufficient, we can hear next door brushing teeth and shower in the middle of the night. Though for the purpose of staying in the Alishan, I would say it would still be a reasonable pricing and stay because it is likely it is a short stay.
