This is a pretty decent hotel. You can proceed with your booking worry-free. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. Service: The front desk was very helpful to get us checked-in early at 1:30pm. The cleaning and restaurant staff were also polite and accommodating. The staff will not pest you for 5 star reviews before you check-out. My kid left a soft toy behind and the staff was kind enough to contact me and mailed it back home. Cleanliness: good enough. Location: Prime location. 5-min walk to line-1 Xiaoshizi station entrace and Liberation Monument. The entrance of the hotel is just next to Westin. It's very easy to hail a cab although there's lots of traffic jam around. If you take the lift to level 1 and exit from the back of the build (reception of other hotels sharing the same building), you can reduce the trip to liberation Monument to 3 min. Facilities: Room is new and well furnished. There are fully equipped gym and AI-powered laundry/drying machines. There're 8 lifts so the average waiting time is usually around 2~3 min only. The room is quiet enough (I'm a light sleeper). The only noise is the beeping sound made by the smart toilet every time it auto-closes the lid! Suggestion for improvements: 1. place a bin inside the shower/bath room (bin in the toilet room only) 2. Install a towel hanger in the toilet room for hand-drying towel. 3. Install a marble slab in the shower for guests' own toiletries. 4. Give hand or face towels by default instead of disposable cotton wipes, which create a lot of waste. You can still request to the cleaning ladies and they'll provide those towels. Pitfalls: 1. Bathroom sink is shallow and easily splashes 2. Bathroom window to the room is too transparent for privacy! (a common impractical 'feature' of new hotels) 2. The lift lobby requires card to tap-out but not tap-in?

I had an incredible stay on the 28th floor! The room was exceptionally wide and spacious, giving us plenty of breathing room. The view of Chongqing from this height is absolutely spectacular, especially at night when the city lights up. Everything was sparkling clean, and the housekeeping did a fantastic job. The location is also perfect—there are so many great restaurants just a short walk away, making it easy to find something delicious at any hour. Highly recommended!

STAFF APPRECIATION: I would like to thank Xiao Yang, Xiao Yi, and Master Li for their care during my stay. They were kind, professional, warm, patient, and proactive. They were also incredibly accommodating with my inability to speak more than a little Chinese. Xiao Yang even made a point to speak English with me during breakfast and checkout. Master Li was very tolerant with my last-minute requests for pickup and drop off and Xiao Yi quickly located and added me on WeChat to allow us to chat more comfortably. As it was raining, she even met me by the car with an umbrella when I arrived. I felt quite pampered! DIRECTIONS: To reach the hotel requires a few transfers. It's not too troublesome and is well worth it! 1) I arrived at the Wulong South Railway 🚉 and followed the exit signs outside. 2) To the left was the large blue bus 🚌 mentioned by another reviewer. It will take you to the Fairy Mountain Visitor Center for 16 yuan. From here you can reach the most popular tourist destinations in Wulong to include the Three Bridges. 3) Outside the center you’ll find another blue fairy bus which will take you to the mountain itself for an additional 8 yuan. This bus will stop at the gate where tickets will be checked. Be sure to contact the hotel and give them your information before you set off because the cost of this ticket is included with your stay! They will reserve the ticket for you and send you confirmation and any relevant information. Otherwise, it is 50 yuan per person. 4) This bus will drop you off at a plaza with a few shops and the boarding platform for the scenic train. 🚂 Contact the hotel and someone will come to pick you up, as private vehicles are not permitted beyond this point. REVIEW: If availability and your budget permit, I cannot emphasize strongly enough how much it is worth it to splurge on the room with a 270-degree view of the property. I went on a foggy, wet weekend and still found the view incredible. The windows cover three walls. I can only imagine how amazing the sky must look on a clear night. The minibar has a good selection of free snacks and drinks and a sampling of the local tea. Meals are also served at the hotel. The cost is not low, but for the exclusivity of the location, I considered it more than fair compared to what I’ve paid elsewhere. Also, the dishes looked and tasted great. There are also vendors down the hill where the train and shops (show in the picture below) are located. Look for the sign identifying the train exit and go down the steps. These were the only places I saw to purchase food, drinks, or supplies once you pass the entrance to the mountain, so plan accordingly. By the way, tickets for the scenic train were included with the reservation as well. I highly recommend it. It stops at the grasslands and the horse stables. Now, I will allow the pictures to speak for me. TLDR: Multiple transfers lead to a place that is secluded and picturesque and right in the heart of the mountain. That means your dining choices will also be limited, but the meals provided (at a cost) were delicious. Tickets to the mountain and scenic train are included in the price. A photo session is included as well, but I did not utilize it. I recommend setting out earlier to miss the worst of the crowds. The staff is amazing and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The room with the 270-degree view offers the best experience. 10/10 recommend for those seeking quiet and the peace only nature can bring. 🏞

The hotel lobby is located on the 13th floor of a commercial building. During working hours, the 3 elevators may be a little slow. Location is on a pedestrian mall but quite close to the road intersection for car pickup. Overall I was very satisfied with the amenities and having a smart room with voice control, I need not find the switches at all! Reception is very welcoming, we got a little souvenir upon checkout, thank you!

Nestled in one of Chongqing’s oldest suburbs, this hotel is an aesthete’s dream. My arrival was smooth thanks to the porter and hotel staff who met me at the closest drop-off location. Having WeChat and adding the hotel was a lifesaver. While English wasn’t widely spoken (except by the manager), the staff always seemed to understand my needs and requests. They were incredibly attentive and friendly. The room was stunning, as shown in the pictures. It was spacious and meticulously designed, truly a dream to stay in. As part of the booking, they offered a complimentary photoshoot. This was a unique experience and I jumped at the chance. Zihao, my photographer, listened to my needs and captured some incredible shots. These photos are a cherished memory. The breakfast staff were so friendly and a delight to see in the mornings. Despite not speaking English, one of the girls made a real effort to communicate. I surprised the hotel manager by asking him to organise a last-minute driver for the whole day to a remote town. He had it organised within 30 minutes. Another example of exceptional service. The only downside is the nearest Didi drop-off location is a bit of a downhill walk to the hotel and back. It was fine for me but those with mobility issues might find it tiring. I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a beautiful sanctuary in such a fast-paced city. I can’t wait to return.

Overall it was a pleasant stay and the service was good. The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in/out was smooth. The location is also convenient for getting around. However, the room lighting was a bit dark, and the furniture feels slightly old, so the room didn’t feel as refreshed as expected. Still a comfortable stay overall, but I hope the hotel can improve the lighting and update some furnishings in the future.

The best location! It’s directly across the road (behind) Hongyadong and close to so many nearby attractions. Lots of food options (directly downstairs when you exit, on the right is a beautiful noodle store). The metro is close by and there are so many shops, malls, markets and places to explore. The view from the hotel was beautiful, the room comfortably fit two people with large suitcases. The room was refreshed daily with towels and water. The staff were very helpful if we needed anything and were happy to receive and hold onto some parcels we had delivered until we arrived. The wifi was good and the water pressure and temperature was great. We’d happily stay here again! It was so affordable and central 👏🏼👏🏼

Excellent service. Excellent location. Near the BRT (which we took only once). The service apartment is located in a block (that also had another hotel entrance), where the entrance to Fandiao is hidden from the main road. But aside from that, the building is noticeable and is the first tall building just before the viewing deck for the Qiansimen bridge and just before Hongyatong, as traffic flows (one way). My specific booking for this room was for a Saturday night - a one night extension - and we chose the Hongyatong view, as our original room was already booked. We could see the massive crowds from our window view out there at and around Hongyatong and on the Qiansimen Bridge on the May 1 weekend But the previous 4 nights, we were booked under my husband's name, and that room allowed us to see the drones show from the comfort of our large and beautiful room. That first room had a wall-to-wall window, that allowed us a view of the river, a block of apartments right in front of us, and some street views. There are pros and cons to different rooms. The drone show is on weekends. If you are not on weekends, the HongYa Tong view is nicer, but only my first room (which was much larger at 40 sq metres) had a long window seat which was lovely. I share a few photos, one with a view of Hongyatong (this booking, and from the other room, where we could see the drone show. Remember they are different rooms. But you could easily come downstairs and watch the drones from the little corner outside the lobby. There's still a crowd, but you could see the drones rising to the sky. The customer service was excellent, for some reason, we were first given paper disposable towels in our first room, and I rejected that for cloth towels which were then given to us. The reception is on the 19th floor, and all the service personnel were willing to please (communicate via WeChat, with translation). And always asked if there were things they could do. Some idiosyncrasies (from a Malaysian view). They have glasses in the room but no cups/mugs for making tea the conventional English way, but the customer service brought cups with handles when we asked for them. No tea or coffee sachets provided but there were bottles of water and soft drinks, which we didn't take. I think it may be the context where soft drinks (in th fridge) were deemed more suitable and glasses were provided more for soft drinks. I had brought some 3-in-1 coffee sachets all the way from home just in case, that seemed providential when we checked in. Corridors in front of the lifts on the floors are motion sensored, so we were at first surprised by the darkness when the lift opened, but we got used to it. You have to decide whether you support energy efficiency or not. 😂 All in, we had a memorable time in Chongqing, thanks also to Fandiao. I would go and stay again and recommend it. Just bear in mind that the road right in front of the hotel is closed to the traffic at night on weekends (and likely public holidays). Plenty of food nearby, and beautiful spots for photos. There's also a Lawson store across the bridge 100 metres away where we bought our sandwiches, buns, oden, and coffee, for snacks.
