"The hotel is in a very good location, located at Exit 1 of Lianglukou Station, about 100 meters away. There is no escalator at this exit, so you have to climb stairs. You can go to Exit 7, there are some escalators.
Breakfast types include porridge, vegetables, noodles, buns, fruits, etc. Just average. It was about 8 o'clock in the morning, and the dishes were cleared very early. If you don’t want breakfast, you can go to the hotel and turn right. There are many breakfast restaurants to choose from.
The hotel is very good, and they provide yogurt for several nights in a row.
The hotel is clean and the cleaning staff are very considerate and helpful.
The only drawback is that the door to the bathroom in the room is a bit old and difficult to close.
The shower room is very narrow and the shower head is damaged, so be careful when using it.
The shower door glass is not sealed and water will flow to the toilet."

"We stayed 4 days with my family of 6 adults and 4 very young infants in this hotel, the service was amazing, the communication was excellent. Everyone of the staff was very helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds, clean sheets, every clean bathroom, good airconditioning. The breakfast was amazing, variation of western and eastern was very good. All 4 days we got different breakfast that was amazing. Location for us was excellent, right below our hotel is the Raffles City Mall, very modern, spacious, and clean. Lots of stores food and international brands of products. I want to thank MR. Yang and everyone of the staff to make our stay comfortable and safe. We will definitely come back to this hotel."

"When I arrived at the hotel I was a little bit early, but the staff was amazing and I could use my room right away without waiting. The ladies at the reception were very kind and helped me bring my luggage to the room. It was easy to get to the hotel from the airport since I booked a driver, and the MTR is very close so getting around Chongqing is simple. On the other side there is a mall and plenty of food places nearby, and there are small supermarkets if you need water or anything else. The room was very clean and everything I needed was close by. I had a really good stay and I would definitely come back"

"The service was very good. I didn't have time to go to the rooftop location, so I just checked in and hurried downstairs. It's right in the middle of the business district, and the room is spacious. It seems that the front desk upgraded the room type for us at that time. I really like the bed, it's very big. The only drawback is that there are bugs crawling on the ground when I go to the toilet. The hotel should still do mosquito control regularly."

Our one-bedroom suite was spacious, though the view was a slight drawback. The presence of a washer-dryer was a huge plus for travelers; unlike expensive five-star hotel laundry services, this is a major perk of staying in an executive apartment. Breakfast was just okay with limited choices, but the coffee was excellent, and my husband also enjoyed the *xiaomian* (Chongqing noodles). The complimentary *bingfen* (iced jelly dessert) that came with our package was also quite delicious."

This is hands down the best Kempinski hotel I've ever stayed at. It offers unbeatable value for money and top-notch service. Even the complimentary souvenir they gave us was adorable!
A major highlight: their 4-person family room is actually two connecting rooms, with one being a suite – the value for money is just incredible!!!
**Facilities:** Although the hotel was built in 2012, it's exceptionally well-maintained.
**Cleanliness:** The housekeeping staff were incredibly friendly, and our room was spotless.
**Location:** It's super close to the competition venue, which meant we could sleep in a lot longer!
But what I really want to rave about is their food – the taste was absolutely superb, offering truly exceptional value for money!!!"

WWwdaxiaowangArriving in Chongqing from Shijiazhuang, our subsequent stay during this trip was at the Regent Hotel. Let me just say upfront, this review of the Regent reflects the genuine experience of my family and me.
The hotel's facilities are exceptionally comprehensive, and they truly think of everything for their guests. Even hair curlers are available, and they can provide retainer cases and contact lens care supplies. We hadn't brought contact lenses due to travel inconvenience, nor had I brought my retainer, but honestly, staying at the Regent, you truly don't need to worry about such small details. Speaking of facilities, the hotel offers a swimming pool, a bar, Chinese and Western restaurants, kids' DIY activities, and much more.
Despite being a nine-year-old hotel, it is immaculately clean and well-maintained. The overall ambiance and design are very stylish and perfectly complement Chongqing's local culture and charm, with excellent attention to detail.
But above all, it was the service that truly stood out and was the primary reason I chose the Regent. I experienced the hotel's exceptional service two days before check-in, when they proactively inquired about our room preferences and requirements, even offering a choice of pillows. Upon arrival at the hotel, a dedicated staff member was there to open the car door, and our luggage was promptly taken care of by another staff member. During check-in, we were even presented with thoughtful and exquisite children's gift sets. While waiting in the lounge, a warm and welcoming staff member offered us drinks. After a brief respite, we entered our room to find it meticulously prepared for us, including the arrangement of latex and buckwheat pillows. The mattress was a KingKoil, and while the sleeping experience, though excellent, was perhaps a tad less perfect than our premium mattress at home, it was still very good. The toilet was a TOTO with a Washlet, and as someone who's had experience with TOTO products, I was thoroughly impressed.
The staff members were all very enthusiastic and patiently answered and handled any questions or requests. Daily housekeeping and turndown service were provided, ensuring the room was spotless, tidy, and created a wonderfully inviting ambiance. Thoughtful touches like glasses cleaning cloths, weather cards, cable ties, premium bath amenities, and even handling of laundry were all impeccable. The staff at the DIY area, swimming pool, Two Rivers Bar, and dining areas were all exceptionally good. My son was right at the 1.2-meter height threshold, yet they didn't charge for his meals.
The hotel gifted us Chongqing noodles as a souvenir, and we were even allowed to keep the room key cards as a memento. They also gave us dessert vouchers, and we received beautifully packed desserts to enjoy on our journey home. My sincere gratitude once again to every single staff member.
Well, I'll stop here; there are simply too many thoughtful details to list them all. This hotel truly sets a benchmark that many others should aspire to!

The front desk staff were very attentive, warm, and polite. They offer a wide variety of room types to suit different travel needs. A 24-hour convenience store is located right downstairs. Jiefangbei and Bayi Food Street are just about a 10-minute walk away, and Hongya Cave is also conveniently close. The light rail station is directly downstairs, making it incredibly convenient.

GGuest UserWe loved everything about the hotel, but of note, this hotel is only the top few floors of a high rise building that is shared with other establishments including several floors for public services. This means that the ground floor lobby space and the very limited elevators were not at all pleasant. As an example, I went out in the morning to grab breakfast and planned on returning to my room, but the line to use the elevators were down the block (see photos). The building common areas are old and dated as well, which is far from the swanky hotel space that likely drew you in.
I would still recommend it, but just be aware of what you’re getting into. If you can find another hotel that isn’t on the top floor of a shared space, I would recommend that over this.

GGuest UserUnfortunately experienced bed bug bites during my stay. Housekeeping was below expectations, cleaning wasn't done thoroughly each day. The table remained dirty, the cups were not properly washed, and the body shampoo went missing after housekeeping (likely taken for refilling but never returned).
On the positive side, the room was nicely designed with smart home features, and the location is very convenient. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food options. However, service could be improved. There was no staff at reception when we were there at night, and a security guard had to call someone for awhile to assist us.

GGuest UserThe experience at Moxy was incredible start to finish. Getting off the metro and seeing where we were going to stay from the people's liberty monument around the corner was a 'wow' moment. The breakfast was amazing every morning with a mix of Chinese and Western food! The complimentary drink was a lovely touch and my friend had a comfortable set up for working remotely in the hotel during our stay. The staff were great for going out of their way to help with recommendations too. Super clean and super convenient for all Chongqing's sights, highly recommend!

The aircon kept increasing in temp up to 27C although set at 20C...when informed, reception said it was centralised and nothing can be done... Just switch off the aircon and open the window! - so why put aircon control in room in the first place?
No sign in English for foreign tourist to find this hotel therefore confusing to find as there are 3 hotels in the same building!
The windows are NOT cleaned, so although I had the bridge view due to the dirty windows, it was NOT worth the price.

It is within walking distance of the subway station and surrounded by business districts. It is very convenient for both business and leisure travel. The lobby design is full of modern art, integrating the elements of Chongqing Mountain City, which is refreshing. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a panoramic view of the city and river. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the smart devices are all available, showing quality in every detail. The attentive service and exquisite afternoon tea in the executive lounge make people feel noble, and the authentic Sichuan cuisine of Lemei Chinese Restaurant is even more amazing, especially the signature spicy noodles. The gym is open 24 hours a day, the rooftop swimming pool has a wide view, and the night lights create a romantic atmosphere. The front desk staff is enthusiastic and professional, actively upgrading the room type when checking in, and the room service responds quickly. Overall, this is a hotel that perfectly combines luxury experience with mountain city culture, and is highly recommended to travelers who pursue quality! The customer service sister is very enthusiastic and gave the children parent-child toys and toiletries bags for free. Special thanks. I will come back later!

GGuest UserThis is a serviced apartment and I booked 2 x two bedroom River view apartments for my family of 6. We are from the UK and Hong Kong. The apartment was very spacious 128 sq metres with big living room, dining room, kitchen, separate laundry room, master bedroom + en-suite and walk-in closet and 2nd bedroom with bathroom. The view of the river was amazing. The property is right by the riverside in a relatively quiet area and next door is a police station. Chongqing is a very heavily populated city and it was somewhat of a relief to come back to a more peaceful area. It’s very safe and behind the property about 10 mins walk up the stair route is a shopping district. Note: this is a serviced apartment and there are families who live here on a longer term basis. I didn’t notice any big tour group style guests either. It’s not a huge famous branded hotel, so you need to carry the name card and address of the property to tell the taxi drivers.
The breakfast is a simple buffet style. More continental style with a few more hot add-ons like dumplings and eggs. You can also order takeout and the it will be delivered to your room via a robot!
The front desk staff are very helpful although they don’t really speak much English. However, they do try to use a translation app and we were able to converse. They would give us recommendations on tourist hotspots and detailed explanations on how to get there by public transportation. The staff may not be so international, but they are friendly, helpful and kind hearted if you give them some patience. I must commend Nancy from front desk for helping me to courier a jacket which I left in the wardrobe after check-out. It was delivered back to my home in Hong Kong the next day. Much appreciation for her texting me in English and having such a helpful manner.
I was able to use the washing machine/dryer for my laundry and found it thoughtful that they provided a sachet of washing powder. The appliances : fridge, microwave, washing machine, electric hobs are all good quality Siemens, Electrolux. Whilst the property is slightly dated, the decor of the rooms themselves are comfortable and clean and had the sense of quiet luxury. I would recommend that they put in a better quality of shower curtain to keep up with the rest of the decor. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels refreshed daily too. They don’t have cotton buds or cotton wool, toothbrush etc. in the bathroom trays like the do in normal hotels but the front desk do give you a set of toothbrush upon check-in. I believe this is something to do with an eco-friendly policy.
My family members used the pool facilities in the mornings and found it to be big enough for a good swim. The only thing they were not used to was lack of a life-guard manning the pool and also the sauna and steam room were a bit dated.
Overall, a very positive experience and good value for the price. It is like a home away from home and excellent for families who want to be together, yet also retreat to their own rooms.

GGuest UserIt's a loft unit that we had with excellent river view . Bedding is comfortable with modern rooms that are well kept.
Location is at Raffles city and there are eateries just below. Didi to the places of interest is easy and wo t cost you more than 15rmb
The breakfast is plain simple.
