Aa1i2Let's talk about the location of the hotel first. It's right next to the No. 3 Observation Deck. You can overlook the No. 3 Observation Deck from the hotel. Let's talk about the scenery. It's worth coming here. The terraces are green in this season. It just rained when I went there. The air is very fresh. The terraces and trees have just been bathed. They are very green. Let's talk about the hotel environment and facilities. There are many local specialties on the menu of the restaurant on the first floor, which can meet the needs of tasting local food. The boss, Sister Hu, said that the vegetables are all local and pure green, and they are delicious. The decoration of the hotel is very interesting, the layout is warm, and there are ornaments on the doors. It's not gorgeous or vulgar (it's also possible to see the beautiful scenery and feel good to see everything. Hehehe). The front desk and service staff: very friendly and considerate. The one who impressed me the most was Sister Hu. As a j person, I don't make plans and go wherever I go. I choose to come to Canada just to get extra pounds. I didn't think about where to go later. I talked to Sister Hu while eating. She helped me plan it and recommended me to go to Xiayao. The drive is just over 40 minutes. There is a Chinese wine on the tip of the tongue. It tastes very good. Thank you Sister Hu for the recommendation. By the way, let me say Jiapian, the scenery is beautiful and the facilities are very complete. It should be more beautiful in July and August when the terraces turn yellow. I look forward to coming again then 😁 I heard that the No. 3 platform is the sunrise viewing platform. I will come here again when the time comes. It would be amazing if I could see the sun rising from the golden terraces in the room in the morning. (A few photos with camera and aerial photography)

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is the first choice for business trips to Congjiang. It has a good location. You can take a taxi at the door wherever you want to go. The food street is opposite the store. There are pharmacies, supermarkets and squares next to it. It takes 10 minutes to drive from the hotel to Basha Miao Village. The children in this tribe are very cute. The hotel owner is very enthusiastic and recommended me many interesting places to play. The hotel is spacious, bright, clean and tidy. This hotel is highly recommended. 👍

KKa-LaLaLaThe host of this accomodation is what makes this place extra special! She was very attentive to any enquiry that we had and was super sweet! The house is in the traditional style so is a little noisy when moving around at night, the beds are hard but clean and the shower is hot with good pressure, plus the location is directly opposite from the entrance to Basha village so it is very convenient! She helped us to arrange a very good price for a driver to take our family to Congjiang railway station on departure and boiled us some eggs for breakfast as the driver came early and we didn’t have time eat.

The property is right by the train station, which is what I was looking for to be able to catch an early morning train.
In terms of location it really depends what you are looking for, surely there's not much to do around and it felt like being in a very remote authentic village, so it's a nice experience but if you have a car it's definitely a plus.
The owner doesn't speak English but he's been very nice and accommodating.
The room is simple with squat toilet but it has everything and it's absolutely clean and comfortable.

On the top floor, there is a viewing platform with an awning, offering a panoramic view. Many photographers choose this position. In the morning, watch the clouds and misty mountains, and in the afternoon watch the golden terraces. However, Ctrip's positioning is not very accurate. In fact, it will continue to drive about 2 kilometers from the positioning point on the main road. There is a striking sign on the left side of the road. Parking is possible in the yard. It is estimated that there can be 6-8 parking spaces if the parking lot is full. Also, the room is not very big, it's just a farmhouse. The proprietress has an amiable attitude.

MMomoOn a long trip, I chose Congjiang for a one-night stop. I thought it had high reviews and a unique character, so I chose it.
It's very close to the main road, though there's a short, cratered section on the way there, but it's a quick walk. It's located in a mountain stream.
The room is halfway up the mountain, so the climb isn't too difficult. We arrived in the evening, and the owner was very helpful in arranging dinner and even boiled water for us to make Yao medicine.
The owner also provided a lot of information about the local area, suggesting we take a short drive along the national highway and then onto the expressway the next day, enjoying the Duliu River scenery and visiting several villages along the way. It was clear the owner deeply loved his hometown.
The air conditioner was turned on in advance, and the room was filled with a pleasant woody fragrance. Everything from the bed to the desk was made of solid wood.
There were a few minor issues with the room, but thankfully the owner was very helpful in fixing them.
The morning scenery was beautiful. If we weren't in a hurry to travel, it would have been a perfect place to relax for a few days.
