DONGXIANG LN DONGFANG HOTEL
"The hotel is relatively new, but its location is a bit remote, with no other dining options nearby. The hotel environment itself was clean and hygienic. However, we encountered numerous issues with the hotel's facilities. For instance, the bathroom light was broken, and the air conditioning was especially troublesome. Within less than 24 hours of checking in, the AC required three repairs. It constantly switched between cold and hot air, waking me up in the middle of the night from the heat. Another time, water leaked directly from the AC vent, soaking the floor and almost causing me to slip. Moreover, every time the AC turned on or off, it made a very loud noise, like a small explosion, which was quite startling. This even caused delays to our planned visit to the Dong village the next day. While staff were promptly sent to address the issues, the constant repairs directly impacted our rest and travel plans. This points to issues with the hotel's property management, specifically a failure to properly inspect room facilities and equipment after cleaning, which led to a very poor guest experience."

"The B&B is in a fantastic location, with views of the rice terraces and sunrise from the room. Picture one was taken from the first-floor restaurant, enjoying the view while dining. Picture two was taken from the room itself, and the decor is so comfortable. It's right next to Rice Terrace No. 5 and very close to the cafe, making it feel like you're right next to the most beautiful rice terraces. For sunrise, it's just a ten-minute walk along the path outside the B&B to Observation Deck No. 6, which is incredibly convenient. The B&B owner and his family are very friendly and welcoming. The food is also delicious. We ate all three meals at the B&B, and they were all delicious. The fish and chicken were both fresh and delicious. I immediately recommended this to my friends after returning. I'll definitely go back to see the rice terraces year-round. I'll definitely stay here again."
Shanshui Yicheng Hotel (Congjiang High-Speed Railway Station)
"The big window, the view is absolutely amazing! The beautiful scenery outside the window, and the characteristic building, give people a quiet and comfortable feeling. Sitting at the small table by the window, soaking in a cup of hot tea, quietly enjoying everything outside the window, really enjoying it! And the layout of the room is also very careful, the furniture is reasonable, and it is not crowded! Choose this hotel next time you travel!"

"The hotel is in a good location, in Jiaye Village. It is also very convenient to take a sightseeing bus in the scenic area. The hotel is very cost-effective, the rooms are spacious, and the bedding is clean. Occasionally there are one or two moths and insects. This is the case in this mountain. It is normal and not a big problem. We also had dinner at the B&B. The boss cooked it himself and recommended the local chicken. It tasted good and the meat was really delicious. We also made glutinous rice porridge for breakfast the next day. Overall satisfied, recommended!"

"This was the best stay I've ever had anywhere in the world! Views: The views from this guesthouse and our room were absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the rice terraces, mountains, and morning mist felt like a dream. The scenery alone makes this place unforgettable. Service: The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. They carried all three of our suitcases, including two large ones, both when we checked in and when we checked out. They were also always happy to answer any questions we had. A special mention goes to the owner and staff for making our honeymoon even more memorable. They surprised us with beautiful flowers, fresh fruit, and a thoughtful handwritten note. It was such a lovely gesture that touched us. Amenities: We were upgraded to a larger room, which was a wonderful surprise. The room was spacious, spotless, and featured a bathtub as well as a separate bathroom with a shower, bidet, and L’Occitane toiletries. Complimentary coffee, tea, and other drinks were also available, and I especially enjoyed the coconut lattes. Breakfast: Breakfast was included and was delicious. Enjoying a wonderful meal while overlooking the stunning landscape made each morning extra special. Dinner: We also had dinner at the guesthouse. While it is charged separately, the food was tasty and very reasonably priced. Compliments to the chef! Since there are very few dining options nearby, I would highly recommend eating here during your stay. All in all, it was an amazing stay. I highly recommend it!"

"The room was very new and clean. Compared to the B&Bs run by locals, although I couldn't see the terraced fields, the trees outside the window were very vibrant. The hotel management team was clearly well-trained, with uniforms and clean linens. I highly recommend it."
Congjiang Jiabang Terraces Lianghua Homestay
"Overall, the price is a bit high, but the scenery is still beautiful. Advantages: Located at the highest point of the scenic area, offering panoramic views, the experience is great. The guesthouse manager also planned to take all guests hiking the terraced fields and exploring the culture the next day, although we couldn't go due to time constraints, it still demonstrated the guesthouse's service. Since there are few restaurants around the scenic area, breakfast and dinner were included and pre-booked by the guesthouse, both were quite good. The manager also thoughtfully handled luggage handling. Disadvantages: It depends on your travel preferences. If you expect all kinds of services, this place doesn't offer them all; for example, there's a limited selection of entertainment options like TV. Visiting here is about reconnecting with nature. Secondly, hygiene is a concern; during dinner, a cockroach casually appeared on the table. Regular pest control is recommended, and the guesthouse should pay attention to cleanliness. In short, the price feels a bit high."
Congjiang Yunshang Hotel
"The hotel is located in a road house, and the parking lot is in an underground garage. It is estimated that due to the geographical reasons of Congjiang River, female drivers should consider entering the underground garage to take the technical test. The road in is very narrow, so be careful if you are a large SUV, and then there is a sharp 45° downhill slope. Go downhill for about 10 meters and turn right at a 90° angle. There is a lot of dust and a lot of scrapped cars parked. You have to call the front desk to get in and out. Fortunately, there is an elevator in the garage to get to the hotel."

There are many restaurants nearby, and it's very convenient for getting around. The front desk even helped us store our luggage, which was very thoughtful."

"The long-awaited pristine, tribal village—here I am! It's 7 kilometers from the county town, but there's no direct transportation. I was expecting poor sound insulation from the stilted houses, but I was quite surprised to find a portable toilet in the room and a farm vehicle parking lot outside the window—yes, made of the same material as those makeshift portable toilets. With roosters crowing at dawn, farm vehicles starting up as soon as it gets light, and vendors hawking fish fry… you can forget about getting a good night's sleep! Isn't that exciting?"
