PPengguna TetamuWe stayed with friends at this wonderful hotel and were satisfied! The rooms are cozy, clean, there is a stunning view of nature around, and the price is very pleasant. The interior of the hotel is decorated in a traditional style, which allows you to feel immersed in the local culture. In addition, the hosts are an incredibly friendly family that creates a truly homely atmosphere. They are very nice, cook delicious food and apples grow in their garden, which they treat the guests with!
The owners are also very responsive - when I forgot the cape, they brought it to me in Danba, while again treating me to delicious fruits. Special thanks for the help with transportation and willingness to help with any questions that arise! If I have the opportunity to return to the neighborhood, I will choose this hotel!

The cleanliness was outstanding. The rooms are very spacious, with new, premium-quality mattresses that are very comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a big difference.
The guesthouse is built in a beautiful traditional local style, giving it a very authentic atmosphere. During our stay we were the only guests, which allowed us to enjoy the warm hospitality of the family and even share delicious meals with them, a really special experience.
They also kindly helped us find a reliable driver at a good price to explore the surrounding area.
Highly recommended.

PPockyBackpackThe owner of this place is incredibly kind and friendly. I felt an instant connection and could talk comfortably, even though we had never met before — maybe because we share many similar interests. The accommodation is located in a ******* village and decorated in a mix of ******* and modern styles. Every item is part of the owner’s personal collection, and the entire place was decorated by the owner with great care and attention to detail.
All the furniture and amenities — from the soap to the electrical appliances — are of excellent quality. Even the yogurt in the fridge was delicious. What I loved most were the homemade breakfast and dinner, which were both absolutely delicious. At night, I had a great conversation with the owner about local travel routes, followed their suggestions the next day, and it turned out to be perfect. For me, it was a truly meaningful one-night stay. The owner also maintains the place spotlessly clean, and you can conveniently park your car right in front of the hotel.

PPengguna TetamuMy husband and I had a wonderful one-night stay in this hostel. Upon check-in, the hostel automatically upgraded our room to the next bigger size, without any additional charge. The room is super clean with perfect white sheets and towels. The hostess then introduced us to hike up from her hostel. The hike was easy with a few mooing cows walked past us, and the historic trees were just amazingly beautiful, not to mention the thousand-year's old towers to admire for. After the hike, we then sat down comfortably in the dining room to enjoy a simple but tasteful home-cooked meal. That night, I slept the best and longest during my entire 6-day's trip. Next morning, after a bowl of hot noodles with eggs and veggies, the hostess invited us to walk up to her own tower and even offered to take photos for us from the best spot.
I highly recommended this hostel.

JJuan Manuel CaldaroniWe stayed for two nights and the view from the room is stunning. The tibetan-styled decoration is amazing and makes all the difference, but there were also a few downsides which I have to mention.
- For someone that does not speak Chinese, it is very hard to find. So we will write here how we did: from Tagong we took a shared vehicle to Bamei. From there, we took another shared vechicle to Danba, and from Danba, there are rural shared vehicles that will take you to Jiaju. I attach the image of the road sign where you need to get off. There is an entry fee to Jiaju town.
- Regarding this rural vehicle, comes the biggest disappointment of our stay, as we asked the owner of the hotel to call a vehicle for us (there is no other way to leave) and he replied “you can look for yourself and if you cannot find one, I will help you”… without a Chinese phone number and without speaking Chinese, it is impossible to call a local driver. So we mentioned this, and he called one driver. When we asked how much we should pay, he say 50 yuan for two people, same as he told us to pay on the way here, but his wife was there and got very angry at him because the real price was 15 yuan per person, and he was part of the rip off.
The lady was very friendly and helpful, on the other side, so we want to thank her for her help as she tried to help us.
Despite this, we still reccommend you to come as it is a beautiful place and there are walking paths that you can use to walk everywhere in town.
The shared toilet was not a problem, hot water works well.

DDonovan_lBest hotel I have stayed in this trip along the sichuan-tibet road so far! It’s a boutique hotel built by the local rail construction company, with 5 star amenities like Japanese flush toilet, bathroom with nice shampoo and body foam, electric blinds, air conditioner / heater. Nothing much to do at night so I enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the surroundings. The town of Zhonglu is quite isolated so you have to try to get a car ride up or find a driver. I hitched a ride. Most chinese tourists drive their own car up. I had 2 meals at the hotel, because there’s nothing much to eat around the area. You can order and they cook it on the spot.

Host called the owner of the ancient sculptures museum who picked us up and brought us to the museum by car for 20RMB including museum entrance. It's not a far walk at all, just very steep uphill so this was very convenient. We walked even further up after to explore the town and views which was so nice!

JjecnvaWe had the most pleasant stay here. The guesthouse was a little hard to find in the dark, so the owner came outside to the parking to pick us up and even carried my bag. He was very welcoming, considerate and helpful during our stay. We had everything we needed, the room was beautifully decorated and clean. The provided traditional breakfast was outstanding (corn bread, rice porridge, cooked eggplant, cucumber salad and sour cabbage)! Most of the ingredients come fresh out of the garden. There is also a menu with many other delicious dishes that you can order for lunch and dinner. When we left, the owner organized the transport for us back to Danba and took us to the ”station”. We highly recommend staying in this wonderful guesthouse and gorgeous little town Jiaju!

RRed LentilI had an incredible stay Jiaju Zangzhai Luobu Homestay. The family were all very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The owner showed me around when I arrived as he could see I wanted to see the beautiful home beyond my room. They have a generous complementary Chinese style breakfast from 7:30am. I ordered dinner and it was delicious.
The homestay is in great location to venture to see the rest of rheumatologist village and the observation spots.
I had a twin room and there was an aircon in the room.
Very beautiful views from several levels of the homestay. I would definitely like to stay again.
