Hotel Mesra Haiwan Peliharaan di Danba

I’ve been travelling in China for a few months now and this is by far the best homestay I’ve been at. The homestay has a beautiful garden where the owner grows her own crops. You have a beautiful view of Zhonglu ******* Village where you can spot multiple watch towers. There’s a viewing spot of the whole village not too far away from the homestay. The owner herself is very hospitable and will try to help as much as she can. She is an amazing cook and only uses vegetables she has grown herself. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I’ve really enjoyed my stay and I hope to come back in the future.

We had an amazing time staying at this homestay. The wife and husband who run it are so pure and lovely, we had such a laugh with them while trying to communicate in different languages, they are full of joy! The hotel itself is really lovely, very traditional design of the area and with fantastic views from the 3 terraces! The food was unbelievable, all grown by the family, pesticide free, and cooked freshly to perfection. Dinner was very well priced as well and super handy as we didn’t have a car. The lovely hostess even made us a packed lunch when we said we were going on a hike, and accommodated us with a very early breakfast when we had an early morning bus to catch. They also booked us a taxi which was super helpful. We loved staying here, it had a very homely vibe, would 100% recommend.

It is stunning example of traditional ******* architecture. The entire structure is exquisitely designed, with intricate details and vibrant colors that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the region. Staying here feels like stepping into a timeless ******* retreat. The hotel boasts a spacious and beautifully maintained garden, which bursts into full bloom in spring, creating a breathtakingly picturesque setting. Peacocks roam freely in the courtyard, adding a touch of elegance and tranquility to the atmosphere. The guest rooms are well-equipped with modern amenities while preserving the authentic charm of ******* decor, ensuring both comfort and cultural immersion. Service at the resort is outstanding, with warm and attentive staff who go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. One of the highlights is the steaming hot chicken soup hotpot offered by the hotel—a perfect way to warm up on chilly highland nights, with its rich and flavorful broth providing both comfort and nourishment. Beyond the exceptional hospitality, the resort’s surroundings are nothing short of magical. The breathtaking snow-capped mountains at the doorstep create a sense of serenity and awe, making guests feel as if they have stepped into a hidden paradise

We stayed with friends at this wonderful hotel and were satisfied! The rooms are cozy, clean, there is a stunning view of nature around, and the price is very pleasant. The interior of the hotel is decorated in a traditional style, which allows you to feel immersed in the local culture. In addition, the hosts are an incredibly friendly family that creates a truly homely atmosphere. They are very nice, cook delicious food and apples grow in their garden, which they treat the guests with! The owners are also very responsive - when I forgot the cape, they brought it to me in Danba, while again treating me to delicious fruits. Special thanks for the help with transportation and willingness to help with any questions that arise! If I have the opportunity to return to the neighborhood, I will choose this hotel!

Words are not enough to describe my experience here. Hosts are amazing. They welcomed me in their wonderful local house, and I felt like at home from the beginning. I shared the meals with them, and food was more than delicious and original! There's a garden and all the fruits and vegetables come from there. Eggs, milk, meats and butter are locally sourced. The room was spacious, very comfortable, well decorated with original ******* design. The toilet was clean and hot water was always available. There's a rooftop from where you can admire the stunning landscapes. I miss this place and my friends so much: I'll definitely go back because this place is unique and unforgettable. 這個神仙老闆有意思, 我行李還沒放下，説了句想去采蘑菇，他就開着車帶着我們上山了！自己做嚮導還不算，還拉上他女兒幫着我們一起找蘑菇。這山可是真高真抖真虐，老闆給足情緒價值，一路鼓勵着我手腳並用地爬上了山頂。作為土著，老闆推薦的小眾絕美線路，讓我在7月的盛夏看到了盛開的油菜花海中光芒萬丈的喇嘛寺。老闆娘也好可愛，話不多，你説什麼她都笑着回答好好好，特別樸實可親，還做得一手好菜。啊，啊，啊，怎麼辦，花海中的藏族民宿，我在這住下就不想回家了！

民宿在梭坡藏寨半山腰突出的位置，面前沒有阻擋，在房間裏就能看到大渡河對面的山景。三樓的露台視野更好。三樓還有個茶室，老闆娘會很熱情地邀請客人一起喝茶。茶室裏還放着古今中外的書，可隨意借看。民宿的主體是有三百多年歷史的嘉絨藏族石木結構民居，老闆一家就住裏面。客人使用的副樓是新建的仿古藏式民居，但配備了空調、抽水馬桶、電熱水器等一切現代設施。房間寬敞明亮乾燥衞生。床睡着很舒服。而且因為他家是在一條小巷的盡頭，所以很安靜。民宿有很大的專用停車場，帶鎖的很安全。停車場旁邊就是通往碉樓羣的徒步小道，5分鐘就能走到碉樓博物館。房費是包含早餐的，雖簡單但好吃，饅頭不限量供應絕對能吃飽。老闆和老闆娘都熱情健談，住在這能瞭解很多當地的歷史、文化、風俗☺️

The location may not be rightbin the heart of the old village but the owner is so helpful & accomodating. They totally treat me like a family member. I booked a room for 2 nights & it ended as a full board room!! I had 3 meals a day with the whole family. The lady boss also gave me a ride to the old village, 7 km away & to tye bus station, 4 km away when I’m leaving. It's definitely one of my best travel experiences so far!! I strongly recommend her place. The 'little out of place' is more than compensated with the hospitality that I get. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay with you!!

Best hotel I have stayed in this trip along the sichuan-tibet road so far! It’s a boutique hotel built by the local rail construction company, with 5 star amenities like Japanese flush toilet, bathroom with nice shampoo and body foam, electric blinds, air conditioner / heater. Nothing much to do at night so I enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the surroundings. The town of Zhonglu is quite isolated so you have to try to get a car ride up or find a driver. I hitched a ride. Most chinese tourists drive their own car up. I had 2 meals at the hotel, because there’s nothing much to eat around the area. You can order and they cook it on the spot.

很棒，民宿在景區裏。小哥很熱情。幫忙搬行李，晚上可以點菜，價格也很划算，是小哥自己家種的菜。開窗就可以看見鮮花跟峽谷，很棒~房費贈送了早飯，有雞蛋玉米粥還有玉米餅還有小菜，很豐盛~
