We had an incredible stay at Zen Ju Qing Cheng Mountain — one of those rare places that feels less like a guesthouse and more like stepping into someone’s way of life. What truly made the stay unforgettable, were the owners, Colin and Xiaoxiao (Show). They are genuinely, unbelievably kind — the kind of hospitality that goes far beyond service. From the moment we arrived (after the small work-out of walking up an intense hill), we were welcomed like long-lost family. Other guests — many of them regulars — immediately included us and urged us to try local delicacies they brought, which says a lot about the atmosphere Colin and Show have created. There are so many small moments that stand out: being greeted with coffee in the morning (they take coffee very seriously, in the best way), tea in the afternoon (which they take just as seriously, it turns out!), and the constant sense that nothing is too much trouble. Whether it’s helping with transport, sharing local tips, or just making sure you’re comfortable, everything is done with warmth and sincerity. The setting is beautiful and serene, tucked into the mountain with a stunning courtyard full of flowers and greenery. You can tell Colin, one of the owners, has a real gift for it — everything feels alive and thoughtfully cared for. He even treks into the mountains to pick wild tea, which gives you a sense of how deeply connected the place is to its surroundings. That attention to detail carries through everywhere: fresh flowers in the rooms, calm design, and incredibly comfortable bedding. It’s one of those places where you start to wonder what a slower, more intentional way of living might feel like. Even just for a few days, you get a glimpse of that. If you’re looking for a peaceful mountain retreat with real soul — not just a place to stay, but an experience shaped by genuinely exceptional people — this is it.

Highly recommend! The resort is absolutely paradise. I stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of my China trip for some rest and rejuvenation and it was perfect. Friendly and very helpful staff, nothing was too hard or too much. I did meditation each night which was excellent!! Very relaxing. I had an additional massage which was incredible also. The restaurant is great,lots of options and accommodating for dietary needs. Lots of activities nearby and Didi very easy to get which I wasn't sure of. Highly recommend!! Very peaceful stay.

Will certainly stay here again if we come back to this place. Beautiful hotel. Quiet room with excellent staff. It is a hotel for everyone, solo, couple, family. Best of all, it is near to the Train Station and also near to shuttle bus to Mount QingCheng.

Rumah tamu ini terletak di Water Street, sangat dekat dengan Exit C Stesen Kereta Api Berkelajuan Tinggi Lidui Park, dan juga berhampiran Dataran Yangtianwo. Ia hanya beberapa ratus meter dari pintu masuk utama Dujiangyan, lokasi yang hebat. Satu-satunya kelemahan ialah tingkat pertama sebenarnya tingkat dua. Anda boleh menghubungi pemilik terlebih dahulu, dan mereka akan membawa anda ke lif supaya anda tidak perlu membawa bagasi anda menaiki tangga. Selain itu, tingkat dua adalah kawasan yang luas dan rata, jadi ia terasa seperti tingkat satu. Pemiliknya sangat prihatin; memandangkan kami mempunyai anak, mereka menyediakan kami selipar kanak-kanak dan pemanas, dan juga memberi kami buah-buahan semasa daftar masuk – sangat bagus!

Peaceful serene setting in the idyllic mountainside. Warm service from the staff. Generally what would be expected from Six Senses. A few shortcomings: 1. The butler recommended that we make reservations for dinner either at the Chinese or Thai restaurant. We told him we will book the Chinese restaurant and try the Thai the next day. We were however not informed that the Thai restaurant was closed for business the next day. 2. My wife and I got itchy sandflies bites after our stay over there. Probably inevitable in the nature setting, but travellers who are sensitive to bites, do take precautions. 3. The photography session at the hotel is a miss if you have young kids. We had a good experience with previously at a Hangzhou hotel, and the photographer took many candid shots of our young kids playing around. The six senses photographer was very rigid and wanted our young kids to stay still for his shots. The end product turned out to be somewhat staid and didn't feel it was the result of a professional shoot.

It truly felt like being back home. The host was very friendly and welcoming, making guests feel comfortable from the moment of arrival. A simple yet satisfying breakfast was provided, including porridge, soy milk, pau, corn, potatoes, and other vegetable dishes. The heating was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, and I slept soundly through the night. The place looked exactly like the photos, and soaking my feet before bed made the stay even more relaxing.

Excellent hospitality, I not only felt welcomed but I felt like I was a friend visiting. The room was lovely with nice amenities. I checked it early and a gentleman offered to drive me to the entrance of Qingcheng Mountain with his Tesla, good English, I learned later that he was the owner or maybe the GM. He dropped me and told me to call him to pick me up once finished. I didn't, and walked back the few km to hotel. When I came back they offered me to pre-order my dinner, which I did. It was very nice and as they didn't have beer, the lovely receptionist went to buy some for me with her own money. I felt guilty afterward as her wetchat was invalid for me to reimburse her and I had no cash. I transferred the money to hotel tho. But her gesture was really hospitable. The following morning the breakfast was simple but very nice I recommend anyone going to hike at Qingcheng to stay in this great hotel. 5 stars service

Inilah maksud pelancongan! Hutan gunung musim sejuk yang berwarna-warni dan menarik, matahari terbenam yang tidak dapat dilupakan di atas pokok yang bersendirian, pondok Hobbit yang berwarna-warni, iglo yang tulen dan mempesonakan di langit, jalan papan hutan yang panjang... semua ini membuatkan mood bekerja hilang. Bawa anak anjing yang gembira, tinggalkan dunia di belakang bandar, dan pergi ke Snow Country Fairy Tale di Qingcheng Mountain!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Central International Hotel in Dujiangyan, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in China. First, the location and views are simply mesmerizing. My room overlooked the river and the surrounding mountains, and waking up to that scenery every morning felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese painting. The flowing river below and the misty peaks in the distance created a peaceful, almost meditative atmosphere. Whether it was sunrise or sunset, the view from the window was nothing short of spectacular – highly recommended for anyone who loves nature and photography. Cleanliness – absolutely flawless: The entire hotel, from the lobby to the corridors to the rooms, was spotless. Everything smelled fresh and looked well-maintained. I'm quite particular about hygiene, and this hotel exceeded my expectations. The sheets were crisp, the bathroom was gleaming, and every surface was dust-free. It's clear that the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work. 👉 A very special thank you to the Housekeeping Supervisor, who ensured my room was always in perfect condition. Her attention to detail and warm professionalism did not go unnoticed – she truly made me feel cared for during my entire stay. 👉 The front desk team – absolute stars! I would especially like to thank Ms. Kiki and Ms. Vivian at the reception. From the moment I checked in, they were welcoming, efficient, and incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to answer all my questions, recommend local attractions, and even helped me with transportation arrangements. Their English was excellent, and their genuine smiles made every interaction a pleasure. They are a real asset to this hotel.
