Great location, nice room, very friendly staff, good breakfast and nice small touches like a voucher for a well made coffee in the hotel cafe, and a very nice tea shop serving range of Chinese teas that you can try

LLyn888I went to Shenyang for some personal business. I booked this hotel because its near the place I have to go. Affordable and good facilities. There are water bottles available in the hallway for convenience. The breakfast is okay for its price. The staff are helpful even if we had to use translator apps. I have trip.com rewards so we can do late check out which is a plus as we were tired and we can rest before our return trip. The only thing I didn’t like is that the air-con is too noisy at night which contributed to bad sleep. Its good for its price.

VVyyc94Ok, location is good, because all the luxury brands are directly downstairs, but hey if you're not there to splurge, no point~ because getting to other popular shopping malls or tourist attraction, there's just no advantage. You may think you get VIP or warm greeting service, but honestly... only if you're lucky AND SEEN and if it's like from 12pm to 3pm? Cause i think that's when their staffs are alert. Next on, check-in is normal, nothing special, remember to pay a deposit. Next on, going to your room, someone will help you with your luggage to your room, which is great, because the floor is so carpeted it is hard to drag the luggage if it's really huge and heavy. Next on, the room... I have so much to comment. First of all, furniture looks old. Toilet is great (+1 point) because it is indeed the biggest and most spacious one i have seen. The cleaning folks does a good job cleaning the toilet BUT! i just cannot understand why can't they just change the smelly damped pillows???????? it's already there when we first checked in. It smells horrible, like your teenage cousin's wet sock after soccer practise in a shoe that never dried after washing. Gross! The really funny part is, you would imagined for such a huge room, the TV would be reasonably sized considering the distance from the bed. HAHAHHAHA, it's so small. I finally understand what it means by 'when someone is speechless, they really would laugh'. 人在无语的时候真的会笑. Like, you are a 5 star luxurious hotel but you can't give a bigger TV that has more modern functions???? Am i still living in the 2000s? Ok fine, maybe they have no budgets for upgrade, fine... It's not like we travel halfway across the globe to watch TV in bed. Next, TAKEAWAYS. Like this really made me so angry, they literally take no responsibility in helping you bring up the food. I mean I don't mind going down to take it myself but let me know i have to! They literally left my stuff there 30 mins until i called them. And the ridiculous part was the delivery guy actually took a photo to show me how he had already passed it to a staff and informed them to deliver it up! Next, their restaurant. Paid for a course meal, and instead of the dishes being served up one after another, they served everything up at one go... wow, ok fine no big deal. BUT dessert took 30 mins and not served. Do you know what is a coursed meal? Do you need to retrain your staffs? Do you think we could have finished the dishes so quickly? Aren't we supposed to savour the dishes and take our time because your head chef took time to design the menu and wine pairings? Like your service really defeats all purpose of us opting to have dinner there. So the irony is we were rushed through our food; we literally felt like we had to speed up because what if the dishes went cold. Then they took forever to serve dessert and we already told them we need had a movie coming up and we were running late. BAD SERVICE. Overall, my review for this hotel is that, you're lucky you HAD GOOD REPUTATION & BRANDING in the past, but you are FRAILING. You do not deserve 5 star in almost all areas non-related to location. Yes, you may be considered luxurious because you're at the most prime area of Shenyang but so what? Your service and facilities are at most mid-range 4 star. Even 4 star hotels now have robots that would deliver takeaways and TV bigger than yours, and their pillows are clean, what an absolute joke. OK, maybe let's not get so negative, last redeeming factor: you do have a nice view of the city. For service, you may want to learn from your peers like Sofitel, Atour or Serendipidia. You're welcome.

PPengguna Tetamu酒店地理位置優越，房間乾淨衞生，作為主題房間，配置合理，小童喜歡，但主題拖鞋看上去不是全新，裏面起小黑球，和主題睡衣一樣，感覺像街頭攝影棚的道具服，滿是小毛球，特別拉低檔次，沒敢讓孩子使用；過年期間午晚餐酒店沒有自助，可以點外賣機器人送餐，但機器少排隊需要30分鐘以上，到房間基本都涼了，房間內有冰櫃，但裏面東西需要另行收費，一瓶礦泉水需要25元，還是一貫的沒有性價比，建議配置點適中的免費物品，畢竟上千元一天的房費，現在很多酒店都已經為了提高體驗感給予贈送了，早餐中規中矩，談不上驚喜，但對得起五星的價格，特別提一句是二樓外包店的烤鴨，很好吃，值得一品；本次就是為了領孩子吃烤鴨，選擇住在這個酒店的。

WWu Hwee JooThe hotel room big & clean. The location is only about 5 to 8 minutes by car. The hotel offer free shuttle service to send us to the airport. The only weak point is the hotel nearby do not have any restaurants. Need to walk about 15 minutes to the small eatery shop which we did not eat dinner there. In the end, we walk back to the hotel & ask the hotel staff to order food delivery for us. The hotel staffs are friendly & helpful. Highly recommended if u are taking an early flight & need to reach the shenyang airport early. This is a good one to stay.

PPengguna TetamuHighly recommend Swissotel Shenyang for any traveller visiting Shenyang! My husband and I stayed in the Swiss select suite room and it was super spacious, clean, with unblocked views of the Shenyang TV tower. The room is also thoughtfully designed and stocked, making our stay very comfortable! The staff were also super hospitable, from check in staff to housekeeping staff, everyone was so friendly and genuine, and that made us feel super at home. Special shout out to Eric from the concierge who was attentive and super helpful, going the extra mile by offering us travel tips and ensuring we knew how to get our way around. Thank you Swissotel Shenyang team for the great stay experience! I will definitely look forward to staying at the Swissotel Shenyang the next time I’m back in the city!

The staff was friendly and helpful when approached with requests etc. It is quite convenient that there is a coffeeshop located in the lobby with wifi, power sockets etc, ideal for a chill work break in between traveling.

The check-in is not in the big Spa Building. Overnighters have to go to the building next door, following the „check-in signs“. There they inform you that: - The day of check in you can use the Spa area until 10 pm. - Day of checkout a delicious breakfast with much variety of cooked and fresh dishes, fruits, juices and coffee and sweets is served from 7-10am. - If you check out before 10 am you can use the Spa area again until 6pm that day. - To enter the Spa area you need to go to the big building. You need to let them know your room number and they need your passport / ID card. - You will get a number for your individual locker. If you are a couple check the ticket with number for sign of female or male. - You take off your shoes, exchange them for slippers they offer and store your shoes in your locker. You get a key you take inside which is for free. - You will be led into gender separated changing areas. - You get a free towel, lounge shirt and shirt pants to change in and sign for it with your key. There is staff to show you how. - Your key shows your number and area in which your individual locker is located in. There is staff to show you how. - Inside you first pass a gender separated area. Here you can be naked. - Then you can leave that area and join the gender mixed area. - It has 4 levels with indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. - Level 1 has outdoor pools, indoor pools, whirlpools, children’s water park and access to the wave park, which opens 4x a day for half an hour. - Level 2 is more quiet with healthier whirlpool options. - Level 3 has sauna houses for free open until 10pm, a movie theatre, KTV, food area and a children play area all open until 9:30pm. - Level 4 is for private treatments. In winter the outdoor waterpark/slides „the wave“ and terrace pools are closed due to the cold. We were surprised of how relaxing the stay at the Spa was. There is many people but the Spa building is amazingly huge and has many different areas to lay down and corners in which it was very peaceful. Our hotel room „Room Queensize-Bed“ was lovely and the staff very attentive. We ordered ice-cubes, extra water and had pizza delivered to the hotel. All in all, a wonderful experience, which we will repeat.
