From the moment I arrived, everything felt intentional and thoughtfully curated. The location in Anping is perfect—tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet still incredibly convenient for exploring the old streets, historical spots, and local food scene. It struck that rare balance between tranquility and accessibility.
The space itself is stunning. Every detail—from the minimalist design to the warm lighting and carefully chosen decor—creates an atmosphere that feels both modern and deeply comforting. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and instantly feel at ease. Cleanliness was impeccable, and you can tell the hosts take real pride in maintaining such a high standard.
What truly elevated the experience, though, was the hospitality. The hosts were exceptionally responsive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure the stay was perfect. They didn’t just provide a place to stay—they created an experience. Thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel personal rather than transactional.
Waking up there was a highlight in itself. The calm ambiance, soft natural light, and quiet surroundings made it the perfect reset from a busy travel schedule. It felt less like accommodation and more like a carefully designed retreat.
Honestly, XiuXi Anping set a new standard for what I look for when traveling. If you’re heading to Tainan and want somewhere that combines aesthetic, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality, this is it. I would return in a heartbeat.

SSoloist CLSThe location is very convenient, with a few morning markets nearby, which makes it easy to explore local life and find breakfast.
Cleanliness is excellent. Both the bedroom and bathroom are very clean, and the water pressure is strong. I stayed in a tatami room — it was nice, but I do wish the mattress was a bit thicker, as it felt slightly too thin for me.
The common area is very cozy, and I really enjoyed the free coffee and tea available anytime. It’s a great space to relax.
The only downside was some confusion about the washing machine. There was a notice saying foreigners can use it for free, but it didn’t mention needing to ask for permission in advance. When I used it, I later received a message from the host saying I should have asked first, which was a bit confusing.
Overall, still a comfortable and pleasant stay.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel really added a bonus to my trip in Tainan. It was honestly comfortable till the stage when the day ended, we actually looked forward to return to the hotel (didn’t feel like a hotel anymore, but more like going home)
The location is really good too. It’s in a pretty open area surrounded by residential places, markets, and sports areas, so everything is quite convenient. Places like Shennong Street and other attractions are about a 15-18 minute walk away. The whole area is nice for city walks, just casually walking around also feels interesting.
The room itself is new, clean, and well designed. Bathroom has proper dry-wet separation feels really nice and relaxing. The bed is also super comfortable and clean (there was just a few tiny hole, but it didn’t really affect anything)
Overall, the whole place has a really nice vibe. Good service, good room, good location, honestly very worth it for the price. My friend and I really liked it, and we didn’t really want to leave when we checked out.

PPengguna TetamuThe pictures shown on trip.com was a trap in terms of its surrounding areas except the historical sites which were great to visit. However, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the view from my room window was a little depressing, with kind of concrete building and sort of coastal jungles. However, the hotel concierge desk with a particular mention of the two young people provided me with very personalised service, even suggesting me to bike ride to the areas and showing me with hospitality as to where to explore in the city. Overall, the stay was pleasant and the pool was beautiful to use.

PPengguna Tetamuthe penthouse is just nice to fit 7 pax of us, including the extra mattress for a kid.
We love the penthouse which we have our own hot spring bathtub and steam room. The facilities are good, they have public and private facilities pools.
The hotel opens the pools to outsiders also, so it might be quite busy and crowded for the public pools facility.
Please prepare some snacks or instant food before you go to stay as there is no convenient shops or mini market nearby.
you have to walk about 20mins to go to the nearby town. The reception sells instant noodle cups but always out of stock. But there is restaurant in the hotel.
The hotel is not new but still good and manageable, they are still practiced the old system which is using hand written record for guests booking.
There is no bell boy to help you on the luggage, we have to carry one by one to our hotel room, which car is not reachable to your door steps. And the road to your room is slopes.
Hotel staff services are just okay, not very hospitality impressions for us as foreigners.
We love the public pools, there are over 10+ different types of hot spring pools in the hotel.

the room is slightly smaller than it looks from the picture provided but its of comfortable size
the hotel provides soap n shampoo thru dispenser though they no long provide one time use bottles.. toothbrush is provided too.. the hotel has bicycle for rent...there is a park juz outside the hotel, abt 5mins out..
i see many reviews abt the hotel breakfast half good half bad.. dun expect wide spread.. porridge, salad bar, cooked food and toast are available... drinks like hot cold tea, coffee, milk are oso provided.. the menu changed slight on the the days we were there but still relatively good.. macdonalds is outside along the road abt 15mins walk.. can take a good walk at the park and head out for breakfast too
location of the hotel is slightly inside a residential area not in sight from outside the road.. quiet and serene
oh they have ample parking lots underground the hotel or juz outside the hotel @ a low hourly rate

NNg mamaThe hotel is old and it shows. There are many pools in the onsen area and guests are required to wear swimsuits and swimming caps. The rooms look like they have to renovated but all public area and pools are aged and cleanliness can be improved. The selection at breakfast is basic but it is fair for what we were charged. The receptionists at the front desk are very nice and helpful.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel room was clean and basic for the most part and a few small bugs in the bathroom, but nothing major. 4 bottles of water are included and slippers. Beds are firm and comfortable and pillows are ok. However, if you are allergic to napthelene (moth balls), then stay away as the place is strong smelling of moth balls though the room doesn't have a closet or wardrobe. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The bathroom is very basic without a door rack to hang your clothes and the shower partition is only enough to shield the toilet from splashes and without any sliding doors. Toilet doesn't accept toilet paper, so you'll need to put into the provided waste basket.
The young lady at the counter was generally helpful, but in a basic kind of way. The hotel is conveniently located right across from the Taiwan railway station in ”downtown” kind of area. The lobby looked big, clean, and decent with a ”putting green” off to the side. The room is quiet, though there are people talking loudly as they check in late at night. The lobby “free wifi” connects, but has no internet service. Room wifi is unsecured, so make sure you have a vpn or use it for unimportant things. They also provide a free luggage storage service before you check in so you can sightsee without lugging your luggage around town.
Overall, it’s a good choice for a basic short stay at a very convenient location. The price is also very good. Recommended choice for your next Tainan trip.
