住1001房，這間真的很不錯。 整體環境來說，寬敞舒適外，還有雙面電視，客廳一個，臥室一個，很棒😊 還有一個大浴缸，身體疲勞可以在裡面放鬆心情，第一次入住就給我很棒的體驗。 之後有到台南，這會是首選入住的飯店。

Aloft in Tainan, Taiwan, has exceeded my expectations with its welcoming ambiance, excellent vibes, and standout service. The hotel's proficient English-speaking and super-friendly staff, especially Dudu at the reception and Paul at the bar, adds to the seamless and enjoyable stay. Their exceptional service truly sets the tone for a remarkable experience. I must also mention the impeccable clean rooms and excellent amenities that further enhance the overall stay. Special appreciation goes to the Duty Manager, Sue Su, whose friendly and helpful nature has been a standout feature, enhancing the overall warmth and hospitality of Aloft. Kudos to Sue Su for turning my stay into a delightful experience filled with smiles and positive vibes!

很久以前就有跟家人一起包棟過，一直都很喜歡，現在換跟男朋友去了，品質依然很完美，住起來一樣非常舒適，選擇的是有浴缸的房型，但讓人驚喜的不是浴缸已經設計的很特別，而是那一片從浴室看出去的後陽台，實在太漂亮太舒服了，而且老闆人很好～服務上也讓人超級喜歡的！希望有機會可以去試試看老闆的另外兩個館！

value for money. 24 hours' ice cream, tea and coffee is great to travellers. The front desk officers are friendly and helpful. The officer knew that we were going to use the laundry and he accompanied us. He is a great assistance to us. Thanks for the caring of the staff. One thing needs to aware is that the cafe has limited space, better to phone to enquire the seating availability before going to have buffet breakfast.

房間舒適，床睡起來軟硬適中，浴室很大，有浴缸 可惜沒有乾濕分離，廁所內雖然有提供拖鞋，地板止滑條建議再加裝一個，只確保安全～ 早餐部分供應不錯～菜色豐富美味～有機會還會再來入住～

amazing stay. breakfast and supper food was amazing, even better than what I ate outside. staff were friendly and room was very comfortable with everything you need.

Hotel and building was a little dated. Our room was overly basic in a state or repair. There was a terrible mould smell in the room which we did not like. The bathroom was nice and clean though. The location was pretty good too. Not too far from the station, close to the night market, and close to subways and bus routes. Definitely wouldn’t stay again and would look at paying a little more for a nicer hotel.

I wanted to test the famous mud springs. This hotel reportedly has one of the best spas. Tips: - I decided to stay overnight in the hotel (2 spa entry tickets with a double room + bfast for $2800) instead of using a day ticket to the spa (400$). The village is far from the city, so staying overnight may cost slightly more than a cheap city hotel, but you're not in a rush and looking for buses etc. - Each spa ticket is basically 2x tickets (1 for the normal spa, and 1 for the naked single-sex spa), so if there are 2 of you, you could go to the naked spa one day and the main spa the next. - The spa has about 15 different hot spring pools, of different temperatures + ingredients, some clear and some ”mud”. There's also mud facials and fish-cleaning for your feet. The electric pools send electric shocks through your body too. There's a swimming pool. - They speak English (basic but enough). - You need a swimming hat and a towel. I took mine but the spa front desk also offered them to borrow. - Plan on spending 3 hours. I'm not a spa lover, but even i found myself taking long. - I went in May and the weather is not at all hot at that height. - Most ********* take their instant noodles in, so that they can eat inside and stay all day. - The hotel is quite beautiful, made from wood (on the face of it). It's got lovely seating areas and they put nice fairy lights everywhere at night. - The hotel room is comparatively expensive for Taiwan at $2800 for 3* (minus the 2x spa tickets of $400 each), but the cheapest ”no window” room (it has 2 windows, but no view) is big and has 2 large concrete baths in (1 for hot mud water + 1 for cold water to dip in and out). Therefore, given that it is a beautiful location too, I do think it's very reasonable. - The breakfast is mostly chinese but there's some western bits. It's standard for 3* but the location of the eating area has beautiful views of the jungle. - It's a 15 minute nice walk to lots of restaurants and a convenience shop.

Very comfortable stay, spacious room and bathroom. Other reviews mentioned a concern of a transparent bathroom door but in this room the door was opaque so there were no issues. Clean bedding. Hotel has washing machine and dryer, lounge, and water refill.

We stayed two nights in Roots Inn Tainan, I think it’s highly recommendable. The rooms are simple, but clean. It’s got a mini fridge for you to store all the delicious goodies that you may buy in Tainan. No bottled water nor coffee/ tea in the room, but all is provided in the 6/F communal living room. It’s a nice setting to enjoy after a long day out, we bought some snacks from the food stalls near by back to the living room because of heavy rain outside. The living room has all the dining ware that you’ll need, and a nice big dining table to spread your feast out. Location is very convenient as the alleys nearby are filled with food stalls at night. Service is excellent, we asked for extra hand towels and hand soap, they provided that to our room while we went out. The receptionist mentioned to us that even after check out, we are welcome to rest in the 6/F living room before we had to leave, which is very nice. On a side note: BMS cafe nearby is excellent for western breakfast and coffee, we went there for both mornings during our stay.
