Hotel Taitung dengan Tempat Letak Kereta

I stayed 2 nights at Machiya Posong for my backpacking trip in Taitung. It was an amazing experience staying in Ryokan Hotel which gives traditional Japanese house atmosphere combined with a modern touch in its interior design. Inside the hotel also has a water dispenser which gives convenient to grab some water, instead going to the convenience store. Since ryokan is generally not soundproof, some people were mentioning the noise disturbances. However, personally for me it doesn't bother my sleeping quality at all. Lastly, I also would like to express my sincere appreciation to the receptionist staff who in-charge during my check-in time. By hearing her way of speaking very politely during explaining all of the hotel information, it already shown her professionalism in hospitality. It is really an excellent guest-focused service.

I had a wonderful stay: perfect location in the city center, very nice and comfortable room, kind staff. They provided a voucher to have breakfast at the coffeeshop in front, or even bought breakfast for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Pros: breakfast and available coin operated laundry on site. Cons: hard bed, 2in1 bath and shampoo, humid room It wasn’t a king size bed that I booked, rather two beds put together. I feel lied to :(

I highly recommend this hotel for all travellers, especially foreigners - note I was a self-drive so the location wasn't an issue. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by a lovely young lady who came outside to show me my car space. Her equally-lovely colleague then assisted in checking me in and making me feel very welcome. I was given a map of the local area and some suggested eating spots. They also helped in charging my phone. The girls' spoke enough English to help me, and the breakfast at a nearby cafe was great. The room was exactly what I needed - a very clean room, comfortable bed, and nice warm shower. I am going to stay again next time I visit beautiful Taiwan.

The hostel has a modest, laid-back atmosphere, which can be suitable for travelers seeking a relaxed environment. Room Unfortunately, I found the room to be a bit claustrophobic. The limited space made it challenging to move around comfortably. However, considering the price, it was within the acceptable range. The room was clean and tidy, which was a positive point. Service One aspect that could be improved is the level of service provided. The staff offered minimal assistance during my stay, which led to a lack of personal touch. Despite this, it's worth noting that the basic amenities and necessities were provided. Pricing Considering the reasonable price offered by ”It's Mine Hostel,” it is essential to manage expectations accordingly. While some aspects may not be perfect, the affordability of the accommodation must be taken into account when evaluating the overall value. In conclusion, ”It's Mine Hostel” in Taidong is an okay option for travelers on a budget. It is worth noting that the hostel has a relaxed atmosphere. it provides basic amenities and cleanliness. If you're willing to overlook some limitations, ”It's Mine Hostel” can be a decent choice for your stay in Taidong. I hope this review helps!

Relax Chamber in Green Island, Taiwan, offers an incredibly welcoming stay, starting with excellent arrival service. I really appreciated that they offer to take your luggage straight to the location, and having someone waiting for you right as you get off the ferry makes the arrival completely stress-free. The property itself is a bit difficult to find without help and is about a 9-minute scooter ride away, so their arrival assistance is definitely needed. While the host is very friendly, English speakers should keep in mind that there is a bit of a language barrier. It could use some improvement as it was a bit difficult to get English help or local recommendations, but it's still a wonderful place to stay if you come prepared with a translation app.

民宿位於池上火車站走出來不用三分鐘的地方，旁邊就是7-11，附近也有很多小吃店、冰店、飲料店，非常方便。服務人員（管家）態度非常友善親切，一開始辦理入住，有非常清楚的指引與協助，後續遇到的房況問題，及提出的每項需求，也都能盡量協助溝通，並解決問題。房間保留了樹幹，還提供了原木床架，以及上下舖的設計，讓家中小朋友們感到非常新奇與興奮的體驗，雖然也因為床板較為老舊會掉木屑、床沿有些裂縫容易割傷，浴室是較為簡單無分離式拉簾的設施，不適合放置衣物會噴濕，使用上較為不便。另外，可能內部有個對外小窗戶（看出去可能是天井還是防火巷）較易引來昆蟲，建議將來可以增加紗窗，或是房務清潔更加留意，那就更好了。當然這些美中不足之處可能也是背包客棧較為便宜的主因。最後，還是感謝管家提供很多旅遊美食建議。

I had booked a room in the “hostel” section, but it’s actually more of a hotel pretending to also be a hostel. The cleanliness in the room left much to be desired (from what i could see the window sill is clearly never cleaned, hair on the clean sheets, etc.). On top of that, the lockers are fake in the sense that they don’t lock, so they’re basically just cupboards that anyone can open. As for the bathroom, some of the shower doors are broken and were literally left abandoned inside the shower. What was my surprise to see that there were cockroaches ?? The next day, I came back to the room to take a shower and there was no electricity in the bathroom anymore. I asked for compensation because the price I paid was completely disproportionate to the state of the facilities. The receptionist was friendly and offered to move me to a private room (in the hotel section), but the problems continued: when I opened the bathroom door, I once again found cockroaches. Moreover, the humidity doesn’t seem to evacuate properly, and there’s a nauseating smell inside. The lock on the door leading from the room to the hallway doesn’t work. The finishing of the construction work is terrible, nothing is right. In short, my advice is : do not come to this hotel.

Very uncomfortable bed. There was a spider in the bedroom. The bedsheets and the blanket always felt humid, so not nice at all. The bathroom floor was covered in water after showering… could be improved with a shower curtain or sth. The whole structure is quite old but I guess it’s what you get for a cheaper option. Also I was a bit concerned because there is no key, no lockers, no door key, and the main door is always open for guests. And there are quite many people coming and going, staying in other rooms upstairs. I would have preferred some level of security for valuables. They provide car pick-up and drop-off at the pier with the car. You can rent a e-bike from them for 600ntd/day (e-bike for foreigners without international license), it is quite expensive but I’ve called other rental shops and they said the same price… the lady also gave me a raincoat at least!
