Lower Thorton farm a set in idyllic farm location. It’s beautiful surroundings and scenery makes anyone ignore the travel time to the south West. The accommodatio at the property is well attended For and catered by Alison who keeps it meticulously clean . Location is very quiet and peaceful and would entice anyone looking for a good couple of days of getaways into the quiet nature.

We were there for the rugby at Sandy Park, which makes it the perfect location with the precious parking included. It's literally a 5 mins walk to the stadium. The hotel is clean, modern & ass you would expect a Marriott to be. Our room was good apart from the air con didn't work & you cannot open any Windows, so we sweltered in 25c all night, which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep, in what is a normally very comfortable room/ bed & bathroom. We told reception in the morning & they said they'd get it checked out. Breakfast was included in our stay, which added to our value, as it buy separately is quite expensive in my view, but it is buffet style with ample choices. Lovely views from the higher floors.

Great location, super friendly staff/ receptionist and she really couldn't of been more helpful. 🙏🏻. But please be aware of a 24 / overnight parking is 50%discounted to £18. But still worth it in my opinion.

Great find and we said if we head to Devon again, it would be a great stop for a midway break. Outskirts of Exeter but the park and ride into the city is across the road. Exmouth is a short drive away. Nice hotel with a large car park, discounted if paid in the hotel. Staff were friendly, particularly Nikki and Mya. Room and bathroom were a good size and clean. There’s an air conditioning unit and a separate heater if needed too. Did not hear any traffic especially where the hotel is situated. Overall, a lovely stay.

The location and friendly,helpful staff were excellent.The food quality was as good as the most expensive restaurants we have dined at. The price of the food was less than charged by many other restaurants. Well done The Globe,we will return.

Checkin could have been better, had to fill all details on tablet but these details already provided on booking I presume. Good food service, nice steak. Convenient for our appointment next morning nearby. Would probably stay again if in the area.

The hotel is in a lovely location, surrounded by beautiful Devon countryside, I wish I'd had more time as there is some lovely walks from the hotel. My room and bathroom were spacious and clean, just a few cobwebs here and there which can easily happen at this time of year. My car was full of my son's university stuff, but because of the location I wasn't worried about leaving it in the hotel car park - I wouldn't have been able to do that in a city centre hotel. This is the second time I've stayed in this hotel for a Exeter Uni drop off and would recommend it, a comfortable, countryside stay at a good price around 20 minutes from the city. The lanes can be narrow in places but that is the case in most of Devon.

As usual with my frequent visit to this area I find Woodbury Park hotel has been my preferred place to stay. Staff are lovely kind and helpful. It’s a beautiful hotel satin a very picturesque location surrounded by pleasant scenery. Hotels and rooms are very clean and well attended to. Restaurant services are clean and impeccable. Credit goes to the chefs and the team who managed the service. I have had a pleasant breakfast service during my stay at Woodbury. I hope the staff and the team at Woodbury keep up the good work and encourage us to use them during my future trips to the area.

Great location, only 5 minutes walk from Exeter St David's train station. I've only stayed for one night due to business travelling. The breakfast variety and service experience was great, a good variety of refreshments. The building itself shows its age, and my floor was very squeaky, I hope there were no tenants below me! I've opted on with the shared bathroom option and the bathroom was sparkling clean. Overall great place!

We stayed for just one night. A much better experience than we had expected, given some of the recent reviews. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and had a lovely,spacious walk-in shower. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Our only negative was that the car park was absolutely full when we arrived at 3:30pm … and the staff checking us in couldn’t have cared less!
