BBeth.BenWe had stayed here for two nights, I can't comment on the food/drink as we went out as most places were a short walk away. The location was very good with being a short walk to Glasgow Central train station and city centre.
Reception staff were friendly checking in, however the room we were given had not been cleaned... Went back to reception and they had apologised and changed our room with a slight upgrade.
This room was immaculate and all the amenities gave it that little bit extra luxurious touch; use of a cosy white robe, slippers, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. I loved the sustainability efforts with their toiletries being plant based and vegan friendly! The bathroom had a rain shower with really good pressure and easily enough to control and a bathtub.
The only cons were there was a small towel rail in the bathroom which was a slight struggle to fit them on to dry.
The TV in the bedroom area did not work and we only found this out on our last night.
There was only one lift operating and the other one was out of service, so best to leave anywhere in plenty of time.

The room was wide, cozy and very comfortable. The location was very convenient, just off the main street. We checked out at 3:30am and they provided us packed breakfast which was good. The airport bus was only 2 min walk. I'd stay again.

PPengguna TetamuMy stay with the ibis hotel was somewhat mixed with both positive and negative. On a positive, the accessible room that I had booked was of a good size and the main bedroom area was clean. The staff on arrival were helpful and provided me with all necessary information upon check in. Sadly, I was disappointed when ordering from the hotel resturant. My son wanted a pizza and the menu provided a list of three types. When ordering, I was told that there was only one type which wasn’t listed on the menu. I found the food to be of substandard which is disappointing given the price. Equally on check out, I advised that the bathroom had a build up of dirt and hair around the shower tray. I was told “apologises, this is a housekeeping issue”. I voiced my disappointment regarding the food to just be told “sorry”. Lastly I expressed my disappointment that I was charged £12.99 per person for a breakfast buffet. I felt this was a bit steep considering my under 5 ate half a croissant. The front desk only advised that usually they did not charge for under 5’s and would need to take this up with the app I booked to is stay through. No solution or refund were offered.

RRRosssWe stayed at Sandman for its proximity to Hydro for a concert. In that regard the location was good, an easy 20 minute walk. Glasgow is super hilly so be aware if you’re walking anywhere. The hotel was very good, excellent breakfast, superb nice staff. Clean rooms, fit my family of 4 well enough!

PPengguna TetamuAbsolutely amazing hotel. We got it at a time when rates were cheap so it was so worth the money. The pool and sauna were great and we were allowed to use it after check out too. Reception staff were always helpful. Good view from the window too of the river.

HHelen CJLovely room for a family of four. The front desk staff were very helpful, but unfortunately, none of them mentioned that the hotel offers a free gym and steam room/spa for guests. I only found out about this after checking out, which was a shame.
Our experience with breakfast wasn’t great. On the first day, we waited around 20 minutes for two fried eggs—one of which came overcooked and the other undercooked with a runny center. On the last day, they had already run out of croissants more than an hour before breakfast ended. Also, there were no signs indicating the availability of chocolate powder for hot chocolate, so I didn’t realise it was there until our final morning.
Additionally, the hotel advertises a free drink when signing up for membership. I scanned the QR code and signed up on the first day, but there were no instructions on how to claim the drink, so I never got to use it.

PPengguna TetamuHave stayed at this place a few times now over many years. Great location, staff friendly. However comparing it to our other visits to (The Ponds) Leonardo we had a few niggles. Most of these concerned the bathroom. Firstly, when turning tap towards cold, the water came out like an explosion. We can only assume that it was some sort of air lock. The bathroom was very tired looking. The ceiling looked awful, like mould and the seal around the bath needed redoing. Lots of black mould, due to no ventilation. We knew beforehand there was no air-con, however the temperature was unbelievably hot. One of the lifts was out of order for all of our stay. The other lift was incredibly slow when called.
