YYan ReevesWe had spent 4 nights at the hotel during the Golden Week which might have influenced the perception of service, but not dramatically.
Among the advantages of the hotel are: nice spacious rooms (ours had a stunning sea view); generally good location with beautiful nature and access to the beaches where you could actually swim (not a given on the island) - at least until the tide goes too low; reasonably good food across the restaurants with rather friendly prices; stylish bar with quality drinks.
Among the disadvantages are: very non-Japanese service (generally not very helpful, with low penetration of English among the staff) and lack of attention to detail that could make the resort actually very nice - again, not very typical case for Japan.
A few pieces of advice to the management:
1. Bring the option of in-room breakfast. If a guest is sick and can’t go down, it’s impossible to order in-room breakfast on the day, while rooms service opens at 11:30. Same frustration goes to the coffee stall downstairs that doesn’t serve coffee during earlier breakfast hours
2. Consider equipping rooms with coffee machines and contemporary electronics - low costs to take, yet massive disadvantage for the 5* status for not having them
3. Pay more attention to room service: we spent 48h without shampoo and shower gel. Our glasses were washed occasionally. New bottles of drinking water arrived only once.
4. Fix the beach! The amenities there look like a poor community beach area, especially those shameful umbrellas. You have reasonable amenities at the pool - why not spreading them to the beach areas to make them feel more like a resort rather than public beaches that no one gave any care?
5. Gym and SPA amenities could use a bit of refreshment. I won’t mention SPA service itself which might be a result of poor luck with the specific technician
6. Empty mini bar equals lost revenue. You could easily cover the modifications above through adding more options for people to enjoy drinks at their balconies.
What makes staying in Japan truly special - genuine care and attention to every detail - was completely missing over our stay at this Hyatt. In fact, we consistently had that feeling “this could actually be really nice” and then something would go terribly wrong with the awkward service. The hotel that looks like 5* on pictures leaves a 3* aftertaste at max. I am only writing this because I felt it didn’t have to - those are easy aspects to fix.

TTK—Beware of HIDDEN COSTS for the indoor swimming pool, gym, onsen, and even the seats at the adult outdoor swimming pool. To me, this is pure robbery. I have never experienced this before in my life, even at other hotels in Japan. I understand there are sometimes fees for an onsen, but hotels normally give a discount or allow guests to use it once for free. This is why I gave 1 to amenities.
There are two options for breakfast: Japanese or International. The Japanese breakfast was served in a bento box (one per person, with unlimited refills on rice and soup), but the fish was already a bit cold. I know they don’t want to keep their customers waiting, but there should be a way to keep the food warm. My advice is to always go with the international buffet unless you prefer to sit somewhere with fewer people.
The room was great, soundproof, and well-equipped with everything you need, including a medium-sized bathtub. However, the view from my room was blocked by the pool and trees (this wouldn't be an issue if you are above the 5th or 6th floor). The hotel indeed looked pretty, but I found their beaches to be kind of mid compared to what I saw while driving around Okinawa.

PPengguna TetamuLovely hotel situated on its own beach. Friendly, helpful staff, large rooms, and two pools. It’s an older resort style hotel but well maintained and it has a cool atmosphere of its own. The beach is great- right by the hotel and it’s clean and safe, with plenty of room to swim. The gardens are attractive and provide lots of opportunities for photos of the lovely blue sea.
You are a short walk to the main street, with its transport and eating and drinking options, and a few convenience stores.
The pools are well kept and of good size. The indoor one is a good option for if it rains.
I didn’t eat or drink in the bars or restaurants so can’t comment on those
My only small complaint is they have an absurd system of charging hotel guests for sunbeds and parasols on the beach. For guests I’d expect these to be included. Not a huge problem in the grand scheme of things but something to be aware of if you plan to spend the day on the beach and need shelter from the sun.
I’d stay here again- it’s a good find.

清潔時間很亂不按時間表，而且酒店人員也沒有事先通知就進房清潔，有點不滿。
由於本人已於出發前透過Trip.com通知酒店會很晚才到達，但是到達後才發現前枱已經關門，而且事前Trip.com或酒店也沒有任何通知取鎖匙安排，令本人一行人十分慌張。幸好找到Trip.com的客服，才能找到密碼，也謝謝當天幫忙處理的客服及補償。

All the staff at your hotel are exceptionally friendly and eager to assist. Whether at the front desk, restaurant, or cleaning team, every colleague is impeccably polite. Even though our Japanese is nonexistent, the staff patiently communicated with us in English, which truly touched our hearts.
This time, I successfully proposed to my girlfriend right here at your hotel—sincere thanks to your hotel for creating such unforgettable and beautiful memories for us. Additionally, we absolutely loved playing with the parrot in the hotel’s basement; it’s so adorable and fun! We hope to see it again next time and have more joyful playtime with it.
We look forward to the opportunity to return in the future and share more warm moments together.

PPengguna TetamuThe location is easy to reach even without a car thanks to regular bus connections. The setting itself is stunning — the hotel is located on a separate peninsula, and the views are truly magnificent.
Unfortunately, the hotel building feels very old and worn out. It is difficult to perceive it as a high-end place in its current condition. Because of this, the prices for additional services and restaurants also feel overpriced. Dust, dirt, worn furniture, and even mold significantly spoil the overall impression.
At the same time, there are many positive aspects. Some areas are beautiful, the food is very tasty, and the staff are extremely polite, attentive, and caring.
However, there was also an issue with canceling part of my stay. I submitted a cancellation request, but it was repeatedly declined. Although the manager confirmed by email that the cancellation should be possible, they claimed the request never reached their system.
If the hotel undergoes a proper renovation, I would gladly return. For now, my feelings are very mixed — the natural beauty and great service contrast strongly with the poor condition of the property.

RRichard TWLarge resort with everything you need. Building and rooms are dated f(it was built in the ‘90’s) so don’t expect card keys or USB ports. However, the rooms are spacious and clean, service is attentive, and the facility was constructed with attention to detail. For example, the bathroom mirror is heated, balcony rails are wide and flat with a surface (perfect for placing a beer while taking in the view) instead of tubular, and there are laundry machines and beer vending machines on each floor. I’d recommend and stay here again.

The location is definitely the highlight — it’s only about a 5-minute walk to Churaumi Aquarium, which made visiting incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained. Everything felt fresh and comfortable throughout my stay. The staff were also very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I especially enjoyed the breakfast. They served local Okinawan dishes, and everything was delicious — a nice way to experience the local cuisine without leaving the hotel. Another plus is the convenience store right in front of the hotel, which is very handy for quick snacks or anything you might need. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially if you plan to visit the aquarium.

CC cowThe service was great! Every corner of the hotel room AND the bath area are squeakly clean. I could say that the bath area was even cleaner than most of people houses. The shower head power was incredibly strong, I could wash my hair 2x faster than normal showers! Parking area was huge and convenient. The bedroom was super cozy, the beds were comfy too but if you need extra spaces for maybe your family, theres extra futon for you to use (although you have to ask the counter and pay). Overall I really enjoyed staying over. I was suprised during my stay, there were barely any customers which made my bathing experience extra enjoyable.

MMsBeh94It’s as advertised - little white cabins (around 8 of them) with its own parking space that should cater up to 2-3 cars that are not too far off from the main road but you won’t be disturbed by the driving noise or neighbours.
The reception is also in a cabin that’s to your right when driving into the accommodation site. Our booking was payment on site (not prepaid) but the WiFi was down during check-in so had to pay cash - just take note if your booking is the same as ours.
Not wheelchair or stroller friendly as there are steps leading to the door of your cabin. Cleanliness definitely can be improved but it’s bearable for 1 night stay. The amenities are not bad, comes with washing machine with detergent though no dryer. The kettle/boiler of our cabin was not in good condition as we bought water from the nearby Lawson.
There’s 2 single beds & a sofa bed expandable to a queen size bed, so can fit 4 adults, but the sofa bed is not that comfortable as the centre has sunken quite a bit. There’s a frosted window in the shower that’s without curtain so showering is a bit weird, constantly aware of anyone is looking in..
Lawson is very close by, walkable but if you have your own car, just save the hassle & drive down. Not many restaurants or supermarkets around the area, so you’ll have to drive to get around.
Overall, decent stay for 1 night at very reasonable price but cleanliness is something I hope they can improve greatly on.
