Nice family hotel and centrally located opposite the train station with many restaurants choices. Checkin was a breeze and room was clean and spacious. Breakfast that came with the hotel stay was excellent with many choices and sufficient refills. Carpark was chargeable at 1200y per night at the next building and walking to carpark can be cumbersome for some during bad weather. Highly recommended place for those looking for accommodation in this part of the city or exploring the city.

I recently stayed at Hotel Wing International Shizuoka and had a wonderful experience. The hotel’s location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city and access local attractions.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that made me feel welcome and cared for. (Staff can speak English)
One of the highlights of my stay was the buffet breakfast. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, offering a delicious start to the day with both local and international options.
Additionally, the hotel features an onsen and a relaxation room, which were perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The onsen provided a soothing experience, and the relaxation room was a great place to decompress and enjoy some quiet time.
Overall, Hotel Wing International Shizuoka is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the area. The combination of a prime location, excellent staff, delicious breakfast, and relaxing amenities makes it a top pick. I would definitely stay here again!

About 10 minutes walk fro Shizuoka station. Staff were generally friendly, but were not very adept at speaking English, which could lead to difficulties checking in. Also be sure to book the room EXACTLY for how many guests will be staying, as they will not provide extra amenities for extra guests. Otherwise, pretty nice hotel with nice hot spring (large hot pool, cold pool, sauna and outdoor area with hot spring to cool off). Ample washing machines and dryers for dirty clothes as well. Mostly local Japanese tourists as well so the amenities are relatively clean and people are nice and civilized.
Complimentary breakfast buffet and curry rice at night are plus points as well.

衛生的で良いビジネスホテルでした。駅までは少し歩くと屋根付きの歩道があるので雨でしたが、あまり濡れずに食事をしにでかけられました。 部屋には無料の水とお茶パックが用意されていましたが、コーヒーは無かったので持参するべきでした。 アメニティグッズはフロントに用意してあり、入浴剤もいただけました。 ありがちですが、ダブルベッドの部屋で片側が壁で隙間がないのでそちらに寝ると足元までいざってから降りないといけないので大変です。

I loved my stay at Nippondaira Hotel. It is a bit far away from Shizuoka station but you can get a hotel shuttle bus at a free of charge. You can check the time table on the hotel website. 40 min-ride will take you to the new world. The view is just stunning. If you select 'Mt. Fuji view room', you can enjoy the view from your room. There is a terrace outside of that room. Mt. Fuji is always in front of you and city lights of Shimizu are really beautiful.. I was glad I chose this hotel. There is also a view deck on the 6th floor for the guests who do not select 'Mt. Fuji view room'. It is worth the stay !! There are no restaurants around this hotel and dinner is kind of expensive, so you might need to get food at Shizuoka station area if Dinner is not included the package.

静岡駅へも徒歩圏内で、定宿の一つです。部屋の窓からの街の眺めも割と好きです。今回は西側の部屋だったので、伝馬町小学校前の満開の桜も眺められました。 無料Wi-Fiはありますが、特に夜は繋がりにくい印象でした。 コロナ禍があってかなり久方ぶりの宿泊でしたが、朝１階で食べられた簡単な無料バイキングが廃止されていました。前夜までの事前予約が必須のセット朝食があるようでした。 已むを得ずチェックアウト後にコメダ珈琲へ行きました。

この辺では老舗のホテルということで、中に入ってみると歴史を感じてそうだろうなあという感じです。まあリノベしてあるので、そこそこ新しくWi-fiなどもちゃんとありますがドアがオートロックではないというのはつらい。今どき鍵かけるのなんて忘れちゃいますよ。部屋自体はきれいで問題ありません。場所も駅から近いし繁華街にあるのでこれも問題なし。朝食はかなり内容はよくオムレツを目の前で作ってくれたりしますが、ヨーグルトは欲しかったな。出かける際に天気悪くなりそうだったので傘貸してくれたりサービスもいいです。なので泊まるのに特に問題はないですが、やはり新しいホテルと比べると歴史感じさせてしまう分が星3つかな。

SSheila Lim Yen SunI regretted booking only 3 days 2 nights. It was so comfortable staying at Nihon iro. Staff was nice, amenities were complete. They even provided some discounts vouchers for nearby eateries. We can even enter the spa for free. Too bad we had such a short stay, we managed to spend time at the beach enjoying some craft beef with some cherry beans fries. Life was great for 3 days. Thanks for sending us to mochimune station using tuktuk. Definitely will visit again and again and again!

SShih Yuin ChewTo my regret, should have booked ALL my nights in Shizuoka with this place. Because of some of the negative reviews online, I was sceptical and worried thus didn’t wanna put all eggs in one basket. But the worry was totally unnecessary.
Given the price, a fair comparison should be a dormitory styled hostel, and this place far exceeds any of the capsule hotels/dorm hostels I’ve been to (I’ve booked around 50 in Japan by now).
First, it has its own room and bed, privacy +1.
Second, it has its own large locker in the room (not as large as the largest suitcase, but more than enough to keep valuables and clothes), convenience +1.
Third, COMFY bed with incredibly thick foam support and super-single kinda width, sleep quality +1.
Fourth, the shower room area is ultra spacious and brightly illuminated, with close to 10 counters (and chairs), you can take your time taking care of your hygiene and facial breakouts at your own pace.
Fifth, it has a partner cafe (hug coffee) two doors next to it and the breakfast and/or drink coupons it offers could save you quite some money compared to walk in yourself.
The list could go on when you compare it to other hostels in the town (instead of hotels in another price range)
Given, the door of the room cannot be locked, and there could be a chance of hearing noise from other rooms, but these are common issues across all hostel settings, and it’s more of the travellers issue than the place.
So overall, I must say this is a place of very high value. I’ll almost always stay in this place if I’m to pass by Shizuoka again in the future.

PPengguna TetamuStarting with the pros: - Very friendly and helpful staff who tried their best even if it’s not easy for them to communicate in English and we don’t understand Japanese. - Good location in a walkable distance from both Shizuoka station and Shin-Shizuoka station. Endless choice of restaurants and many shops around. - Spacious room, with separate living area with tatami. The negative: - Below standard cleanliness for any hotel I’ve stayed in in Japan. Mold was starting to build in the grout in the bathroom and spider webs on the ceiling. - There was a faint but constant smell of sewers in the room, despite the multiple air filters and diffusers that were already installed. - It was a surprise to me that it’s not a conventional hotel. The rooms are scattered across several buildings. This was not a problem in itself but it was very difficult to find the entrance to the reception lobby, which was located in the basement level of a separate building. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the stay. At this price point, I expected much better attention to details and cleanliness.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed at the hotel with my wife as a stop between Nagoya and Atami. We chose the hotel due to its very close proximity to the train station. We found the hotel room very clean and recently renovated. The utilities, including lighting and water supply, were good. The breakfast was acceptable though we needed to queue for a while. The services offered were indeed good since we managed to retrieve some left fruits in the refrigerator through the help of hotel staff after we have checked out.

HHo LunThere are only self check in if you come in after 10pm. Instructions were not correct and self check in machine didn't work. There were no phone in the hotel so I have to spend my long distance dial and stood there 30 mins to figure out the check in. Filed a complaint later on and hotel refused to refund. But trip.com was nice enough to send back a reasonable amount of money to compensate my long distance call. Only if you speak Japanese and have a local phone and check in at day time, otherwise not recommended.

島島魚場所はインターチェンジ降りてすぐ。
清水港からも日本平からも30分圏内なので、アクセスは非常に良いです。
目当てのさわやか静岡インター店も徒歩3分だったので、今回の旅行の場所としては最高の立地でした。
またサウナが常設はとてもありがたかったです。
お盆期間で海外の方も宿泊されていて、満室に近い状態でしたが、サウナ利用はほぼ無く、貸切状態でした。
かなり本格的なサウナでアロマ水もあって、ロウリューも自由にできて、屋外なので季節を選べば最高のサウナだと思います。
(私はお盆期間の利用だったため、水風呂が温くて完全に整うことができませんでした)
スタッフの方も非常に親切で、接客レベルの意識の高いスタッフが常駐されています。
フリードリンクは、かなりの差別化になっていると思います。
クラフトビール飲み放題は最高でした。
その他レモン水やソフトドリンクも飲み放題だったので、部屋で晩酌せずにオープンスペースでゆっくり晩酌できました。
コスパを考えると非常に良いと思います。

We apologize when it is crowded as the general public also enjoys tea.
The rooms have air conditioning, but the beds do not, so it feels very hot and difficult to stay there.
There are no towels or toothbrushes.
You need to bring your own.
Earplugs were available at the washbasin.
There is only one shower and one toilet, so you have to be patient when others are using them.
I woke up in the middle of the night when someone came home and took a shower because of the noise.
You have to cross a big road from the station, so it is better to go out with plenty of time to spare.

PPengguna Tetamu改装前の大浴場は貸し切りでした。よくある使用中は札を裏返してね～ってやつ。今回リニューアルとの事で何年かぶりかに泊まってみたら利用時間は男女入れ替え制で朝と夜の二時間のみ。こちらが時間をあわせないと利用できないし、そもそも大浴場といっても小さい。ロッカーの鍵が二か所しかついてなかった。ちなみに18時過ぎに利用したけどすでに一人利用中。せいぜい3人ほどがマックスなのでやはり気を使いながらの入浴。ただその一人が出た後は少しのんびりできたので部屋風呂入るよりまマシだったと思う。朝食ビュッフェは初めて食べたけど、改装されてて綺麗だし品揃えも料金が700円のわりに良かったと思うけどマクドナルドみたいなカウンターテーブルに椅子はスツールなので軽食なら良いけどビュッフェをゆっくり楽しむって感じではありません。それと小瓶に作られた自家製プリンがあったのは嬉しかったけどデザート用の小さいスプーンがないので底まで全部食べ切れないという(笑)人宿町はオサレなcafeがあるのでそこでモーニングセットの方が良いかもです。あと部屋の窓があかないのは私的にマイナス点。結論として宿泊料金は安いのにいちおう人口温泉の大浴場？つき！？ドリンクサービスもあるしホテル自体に不快感はないので総合評価は悪いとは思わないけどやはり駅からかなり遠いのは難点。いちおう人口温泉にしてるんだから貸し切り予約制ひとり45分500円有料とかにしたほうが満足度が上がるような気がした（それなら遠くても人宿町のオサレなcafeでモーニングしたいのでまた泊まりたい）

PPengguna Tetamu部屋が広く ベッドも ユトリがあり 部屋も 奇麗に整頓されて 今迄の 東横インとは 別格 トイレのペーパー取付け場所が イマイチで 便座に座った位置での ペーパー取出しが 大変不便でした! その他は GOODです。又 泊まりたいです! 車の車高が 有るので 中々ホテルの駐車場に停められ無い事が多々あり 70.80歳代の2人には 歩くのは良いのでしょうが 雨の日は辛いですね! 其れでも 東横インさんが安心できるのは 慣れたホテルだからかな

KKARANSADAMuch more than expected. It's an impressive hotel that I want to tell others about. The location of the hotel is not far from JR Shizuoka Station, just a 10-minute walk. The room I requested was on a high floor. I got a room on the top floor. Plus a very beautiful view. The room, although small by Japanese standards, is clean and has all the amenities. I sleep well Because there is no noise at all. The hotel also provides breakfast and coffee and tea. The staff provide very good service. Always giving advice and helping as well. Asked for warm water because I wasn't feeling well even though it was already past check-out time. But she hurriedly went to find it for me. Like this, it's a good hotel that should be shared and recommended.
