PPengguna TetamuShilo Inn Yuma is conveniently located with lots of restaurants within walking distance (200-300 meters). One thing to consider in booking this hotel is that they do not have breakfast. There is what is considered a ”mall” adjacent to the hotel but it is outdoors and filled with chain retail establishments and nothing unique. Easy to get to, just off Interstate 8, but you don't hear any highway noise. The hotel is old (I stayed here back in the 1980's) and sometimes it feels that way. Room has the amenities that you need. TV worked but didn't have a lot of channels and it was stuck on an aspect ratio that cut half the picture. The pool was nice but there are a lot of birds in the area and they tend to leave their mark everywhere (especially the deck chairs). They try to keep it clean but those birds are persistent. The staff is friendly and helpful. One thing I noticed and appreciated was the daily room servicing. Many hotels have stopped daily service so it was nice to get towels, the bed made, trash removal, etc. everyday.
