We chose this hotel because of proximity to a business we were going to visit. We explained that we wanted to stay 2 days, possibly 3. Before we even checked into the hotel I found that my card had been charged for a Full 3 days. When I mentioned this to the reception, she claimed this was procedure to pre-charge. When we checked out, the lady at the front desk told me they don't give refunds...even though we were not going to use the room and we were leaving the hotel because our business was complete. After some discussion, they agreed to refund 1 night. 2 weeks later they said they were not able to process the refund on my US Credit card. They asked if I could provided them with a Mexican Card to Refund to.... I provided them with that Info. 2 weeks later they said my mexican card info was not correct. I had my bank president contact the hotel with info so they could provide the refund. He walked them through the entire process on how to issue the refund to my Mexican account. They still to this day have not honored the refund request. They just keep repeating that I have not provided them with the info they need to issue the refund. While the Hotel is very nice, very comfortable and convenient, I will not stay here again because management and ownership is less than honest about policies and procedure. LMBrown Ajijic Mexico
