Alua Gran Camp de Mar

Camp de Mar è un posto tranquillo, l’albergo è facilmente raggiungibile ( noi col bus A 11) dall’ aeroporto di Maiorca . Struttura non nuova ma ristrutturata bene e sopratutto molto pulita. La formula all’ inclusive adoperata da tanti alberghi toglie sicuramente un po’ di qualità ai pasti. Ma c’era una grande scelta di frutta, pane cereali, succhi, frullati, e tante altre cose a colazione . Per il pranzo e la cena sono un po’ più riservato, ma quando ho visto cosa certe persone mettono nel piatto ( frutta, carne e dolci assieme ) mi sa che è meglio accontentarsi della varietà dei cibi proposti. Troppo bella la zona sdraio al mare ( :—)) sdraio a pagamento ) ma una meraviglia. Stanza non molto grande ma la nostra con vista mare frontale , una favola . Biancheria da letto gradevolissima e materasso da sogno ( niente mal di schiena al risveglio ) Palestra non all’ altezza di un Hyatt.

I would have given it 5* But the food lets the Hotel Down.Hotel is emasculated the staff work so hard the rooms are a good size for a couple and very clean we had our room cleaned every day bedding changed when I requested it . I was so disappointed with the food for a 4* it was cold on many occasions and they dont replenish the dishes quick enough .I definitely didn’t want to see last night chips mixed with egg for breakfast the next morning.They also had food themed night such as Indian but no Indian food what was that all about .I definitely didn’t want a cold pitta bread and a heated frozen samosa . It’s definitely not 4* food and this is one of the reasons we won’t return. The resort its self is very quiet not bars just a couple of restaurants but nothing else . It’s a shame about the food because it’s a beautiful hotel and place .

What a fantastic place & hotel. All the staff helpful and hotel clean. Entertainment not to much but good fun and can take & leave with no pressure, Animation team all different personalities which make a great team. Food lovely, fresh & well cooked, yes can get a bit the same but you just need to vary your choices they are catering for large numbers. We had a Mexican night with fajitas which were lovely and made a nice change. Hotel not to big or small which is great for faimillies enough going on & children make friends easy. Location stunning, step out of hotel & at the beach & sea. Things like paddle boards, pedlos, jet skis here also good for snorkeling lots of fish. The smell people say near the beach is just drains unfortunately don't let it put you off often get this is other countries. Also bus brilliant can get other resorts in 5 to 25 mins if you want a bit more going on.

This hotel doesn't fit the criterias for a 4 stars at all. Food : variety of choice between frozen food or cans food. Even quite simple food like makis or pizza tastes bad. The restaurant is rarely cleaned (our toddler dropped food on the floor one evening, we found it still on the floor the next morning, and baby chairs were always dirty) and the hygiene is bad as well : I found two rotten boiled eggs from the same batch, when I complained the cook gave me another egg came from who knows where, but didn't replace the batch. Room : small, with flaky paint, hair on the floor, old equipment... Be careful when you book a room with sea view, it's mainly a pool view with a lot of noise at day and night. We have a baby who couldn't sleep because of the noise. A lot of things are extra, like fresh pressed orange juice was 4 euros, even if you're all inclusive. And I had to pay 7 euros to get 2 beach towels cleaned, which weren't really cleaned or dry when I got them back. The price for clothes cleaning is really high : 9,50 euros for pyjama, 6 euros for one t-shirt...

Had a lovely holiday here. The rooms were small but clean and adequate . Our sea view was beautiful No complaints about the food, lots of variety everything well cooked The staff are lovely especially the entertainment team. They really do try . I would say , id have preferred if there was a traditional kids club that kids can be left at for an hr or so this was missed by my daughter as she loves kids clubs. The evening entertainment could be better quality. The quiz was good but the acts wernt the best. I did wonder if the hotel had watched them before hiring them , especially sir duke as he couldnt even sing in tune , funny though! Keep the Bonney M experience they were great! There is only 1 pool for a lot of guests so sunbeds were gone by 7am as people were putting towels down. I really think this should be stopped and towels removed by staff before pool opening times Nearby beach is lovely , camp de mar has nothing in the area to do really but we disnt mind that at all. Just a heads up for anyone who doesnt know All in all we couldnt fault this hotel and had a really nice week here

Thank you, thank you, thank you! This was our first family summer holiday with our baby and we were so nervous, but this hotel was perfect. Everything was amazing; the location was right on the beach and near big towns, the rooms were spacious and clean, the bar staff and waiters were so kind, the food was great and varied - but the best thing for us was the entertainment team. Sergio, Sophier, Kristian, Eva - you all rock! So friendly, funny, inclusive, welcoming and set the vibe for the whole hotel.

Returning to somewhere you enjoyed before can be tricky as you hope it will live up to your previous experience and this is how we felt returning to the Alua Gran having had an enjoyable visit in 2023 we need not have worried the hotel is still excellent and I think has improved in some aspects, most notibly the food. The hotel is fabulously located right on the sea front at Csmp de Mar as small resort with a few hotels and restaurants and a beautiful beach. We booked a full sea view room and while the room itself was fine, similuar to all rooms, comfortable but not not huge, it boasted a magnificant sea view. We bookex directly with Hyatt and got a good rate for all inclusive. If you can include the sunbeds on the plinth, especially if you are adults only as they are worth getting for the peace and see breeze as the pool area csn get crowded and beds are packed tightly, great for kids though and our 8 year old niece had a ball. Food was very good, a definite improvement on last year with good choice at all meals. We particularly noted that thd bacon was crisped up on the grill after being over baked, take note other hotels and there was a tasty roast each evening with lovely salty gravy...we also enjoyed thr flavoured waters at breakfast and great selection of cheese although it would have been nice to have larger crackers. Bread selection was varied and changed daily. We ate very well and felt no need to go out to eat. Try to get a table on the outside terrace as its less frantic. Drinks were fine, cocktails mixed but wine was very drinkable and we fpund service in the bara to be quick and efficient. We liked the idea of the deposit on the cup as it meant there was no empties or litter left around and also thd fact that the entire hotel and grounds are non smoking is great. Staff all round were excellent and very friendly, i recognised most from last year. Aqua aerobices were fun as was the entertainment most evenings. I would have liked pilates or stretching but i understand space is limited. All in all a great stay and good value. Our niece wants to come back next year and I think we will, what more can I say!!

Stay here in April of this year with my family and the hotel was perfect our room was spotless and cleaned daily, we got a wonderful balcony overlooking the pool, the room was overall perfect. The food choice was great with a separate buffet table for the kids, if you are wanting to go when it’s more quiet try and go maybe an hour after breakfast/lunch/dinner first start because it’s absolutely heaving if you go when it first opens to avoid that. What i found wonderful there is an option to have breakfast early if perhaps you have an early flight you can have a continental breakfast which not many other hotels offer which was perfect. The location was brilliant a minutes walk to the beach and you can actually see the beach from the hotel although there’s not much around there’s still enough to do within the hotel and area. We ended up upgrading to all inclusive when we were there it was 100% worth it and would recommend getting it if you go because it also includes lunch which was a big help along with the various drink options i was a big fan of. 10/10 would stay again!

Lovely, modern, clean hotel. It was the first time travelling with my 7 month old and the staff helped me with everything we needed to make our stay with the baby as easy as possible, especially the front desk manager Katrin. All the staff are great and always happy to help. We enjoyed all of the daytime and evening entertainment. Food and drinks were very nice ( especially the gin and sangria ) The location is amazing with a view of the sea from our room and a less than minute walk to the beach, shops and boutiques in Camp De Mar. We went to Andratx Port on the bus which was lovely and only around 10-15 minutes. Would recommend this hotel and location to family and friends and hope to stay here again in the future.
