Hotel Daerah Petra dengan Kolam Renang

This is absolutely my new favorite place for a getaway. We’ve stayed at all of the major resorts a long the Dead Sea and Aqaba and as nice as those places are, I’d come back here first every time. The resort itself is set in an actual ottoman era village dating back at least 250 years. It’s been updated to luxury accommodations without sacrificing historical significance or architecture. The resort is owned and run by members of the local tribe and the care they put into this establishment reflects the celebrated tradition of kindness, hospitality and love of history and nature the people of Wadi Musa are known for. There is an indoor pool as well as outdoor. This is rare for a resort in Jordan and is definitely a plus if you’re planning a winter getaway. The hot tub is just outside and is well heated and large enough to accommodate several people. Golf cart transport to and from your room is always available and timely. This is important as the grounds are large and full of inclines. The food… THE FOOD…. Whether it’s a pre-set menu or the full buffet, it’s absolutely amazing! So many resorts put out a lovely display that sadly lacks in flavor. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been disappointed by this. However it was absolutely not the case here. Every dish from breakfast to dinner is fresh and full of flavor and clearly prepared with great care. My only complaint was the overpriced soda. 3jd for a can of ginger ale is steep. In conclusion, if you’re visiting from out of the country, or you’re looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of Amman for a few days, this is absolutely the perfect destination. We will be back soon!

Z of Phnom Penh chose the Marriott in Petra after a deeply debated tl”Top 5 YouTube Petra Hotels” clip. We arrived on a road with absolutely no bumps, and were greeted by the friendliest concierge, the friendliest hotel manager, the friendliest waiter, and the friendliest chef. Immediately we ordered the ”Beef burger, no meat, just the bun please” and the chef nodded silently and understood our needs. The kids amazingly ate lunch free, so they had more time to Switch on, Vapow! In the evening, we looked for the green flash overlooking the majestic Petra mountains after a cool dip. For dinner, Sadly, Caramello and Nede didn't make it, but the Mandi was amazing. Kids again ate free, as did a little cat in exchange for a few scratches. 6 months is justified, as by now, it's all about the principle. We all agreed So in the end, it wasn't just the personal welcome message on the TV in the room that justified Z's decision, but the phenomenal kindness of the staff, ”You're Welcome!”

Very kind and knowledgeable, and also friendly staff, perfect location in terms of accessing petra whether via the main entrance or the back entrance with the free shuttle. Would visit again.

The hotel sit atop a hill overlooking the desert hills - a wonderful view, about a 10-min. drive from the Petra visitor center. All the staff we met, from the security guards, to the bellman, the front desk, the restaurant - were just SUPERB. All of them. The lobby is inviting and warm, the restaurant is spacious and with lots of sunshine. Dinner buffet had a very nice variety and decent quality, yet overpriced. Breakfast had a wonderful variety with good quality. The room was very clean, and looked like it was built last year - very well maintained. Although the building looks very new, overall, the hotel is overpriced a bit. Overall, an excellent choice for Petra.

In a country that prides itself on its hospitality, Petra Palace treated me like a stupid tourist who is only good enough for her wallet. I am deeply offended. My standard for mid-range hotels is not high. I'm not surprised when the towel rack is loose, the shower only has one temperature or the breakfast is not what you are used to at home. But I do expect to be treated fairly. That didn't happen here. I traveled in a group and stayed at this hotel for three nights. When the bus, with all the suitcases already in it, was ready and we were about to leave, the manager informed the tour guide that we had soiled a towel so badly that it had to be reimbursed. Nonsense! At home, I could have cleaned this towel in my washing machine easily. Besides, who says this towel came from my hotel room? And finally, above all: if you think that I have behaved so filthy as a hotel guest, please report this to me immediately and directly. In addition, this hotel had no right to speak in terms of quality. A selection: the toilet seat was loose and the toilet only flushed moderately. The futuristic shower cabin was largely calcified, so that only 1 of the functions worked properly. The electrical connection of this cabin looked improper and risky. The sound volume of the air conditioning was particularly high. The stopper of the bidet could not be operated and was, when finally closed, leaking. The sink tap was completely loose. In all other hotels drinking water was available for guests, but not here. Several guests fell through the loungers by the pool because they broke. Towels were missing at the pool. The accusation against us was completely unjustified. Unfortunately, my husband paid the 10 dinars demanded (expensive second-hand towel!) to avoid the argument because we were about to leave. The feeling I get from it all, is that this hotel has found a new revenue model. Bah.

If you go to Petra then you must stay at Tetra Tree Hotel! It's a 5-minute drive or 30-minute walk up (20 minutes down) the hill from the main entrance to Petra. The views from the rooms and the roof top restaurant are spectacular! You're overlooking the town and Petra itself. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and have everything you'll need. Hussam, the manager, is extremely nice, responsive and helpful.

فندق اكثر من رائع يخي تحس انه جاي من عالم ثاني تصميم على الطريقه الأسلاميه بنفس الوقت مطورين فيه مريح وتحس انك ببيتكم. للأمانه موظفين عندهم اخلاق ويحسسوك انهم يعرفونك من زمان وجداً متعاونين والأكل هناك ما قلك شي عجيب والله ما قد ذقت مثله في كل الأردن ولا حتى باقي المطاعم اللي رحتها خارج الأردن تحس له نكهه خاصه مادري هو بسبب الأجواء اللطيفه الي هناك بس ريحة البويه كانت تارسه المطعم مع كذه السفرجي عبدالله الرويضه بالمطعم ما قصر والله انا أشهد انه خلانه نطلع مبسوطين انصح الجميع ينزل فيه

The hotel looks very nice. The hotel staff is very friendly! This hotel is located in a corner of slightly uphill, so even you stayed in the outdoor restaurant, you can get a very nice view to the Petra surrounded areas. In terms of location, it’s just 5 minutes drive to the Petra city entrance. And the value for money is very high for this hotel too. I highly highly recommend to other travellers!
