I had the most wonderful weekend at the Himawari Hotel and Apartments. I stayed at one of the newly renovated rooms and it was really great! I had a nice view of the Mekong river. The showers have good water pressure too. I was also impressed at the staff of the hotel. Incredibly polite and courteous, which put a smile on my face always. As a return guest, I was so pleased that some of the longer serving staff remembered me! It made me feel at home and that Himawari is one big family ❤️ I’ve always enjoyed my meals at the Oyster restaurant too. Buffet breakfast always excellent, as well as their regular menu. My favorite are the fish and chips (as good as any high end restaurants I’ve been too) and the beef Lok Lak over rice. Overall, I highly recommend staying at the Himawari when you’re visiting Phnom Penh. I’ll be looking forward to returning in the future!

Beautiful old hotel right opposite the Royal Palace. The hotel grounds make you feel like you're surrounded by nature. The rivrr promenade is a 3 minute walk away. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of Western, Asian and local Cambodian food. After arriving quite late, Mealea restaurant was great for dinner. We had a few drinks, a salad and 2 local dishes which came to around $45. Overall, a lovely place to stay and will definitely return.

Saya rasa ini adalah bos Cina. Saya rasa seperti masih berada di China di apartmen mereka. Semuanya dalam bahasa Cina. Saya mendengar bahawa ini adalah kali pertama saya tinggal di rumah mereka. Meja depan sebenarnya menaikkan taraf saya menjadi suite eksekutif. Oh, saya pergi. Dapur dan semua mesin basuh layan diri mesti dipuji! Terdapat pasar raya 24 jam di tingkat bawah, dan anda juga boleh bermain golf di tingkat dua. Saya pergi mencari teh ketika para tetamu datang pada waktu tengah hari. Saya bertanya di kaunter penerimaan tetamu. Terdapat bilik teh, yang sangat selesa. Nampaknya saya dapat tinggal di sini apabila saya kembali bekerja.

We reserved a suite and a connecting room for our children. It felt as if we were in a flat. We stayed one week. We asked for a view on the Royal Palace, which I highly recommend. Hotel is very new and extremely comfortable and luxurious, staff very friendly and professional. Special mention for Sotheavy Hem in the breakfast lounge, dynamic and always ready to help and to the enthusiastic Srini. As othet reviews mentioned hotel is ideally placed. Hotel was above my expectations and I can only recommend to stay there.

The Sokha hotel is an amazing place. An enormous hotel but with nothing going on. We arrived at 8pm and were upgraded to a suite. A huge room in a huge hotel but nobody else in the hotel? The venue was very clean, lots of staff all very friendly. The hotel is the wrong side of the river. On the other side it was buzzing with locals and tourists unlike the hotel sokha side which has only locals. Even the tuk-tuk drivers don’t want to go there. Breakfast the following morning was good. We paid less than £100 for this hotel, great value for a 5* hotel but Unfortunately lacking customers and therefor any sort of atmosphere !

I started only have hot water for one only and I stayed for 4 night,and the internet it’s keep on kicking me out can’t log in properly. I won’t stay there on my next trip which in coming in the end of this year. And breakfast the second morning then one of the Waitress she told me that I can order eggs or noodles but the morning before that no one telling me.

It is in a small alley but the neighborhood is with a lot of food, restaurants and even a traditional market. Quiet location with retro design. The only problem to me is the door lock is hard to open, if they can change to the card key, that would be better.

I had the absolute pleasure of using this fabulous hotel twice for recent visits to Phnom Penh. On both occasions, I was warmly welcomed and experienced a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. The hotel is efficiently run, peaceful and in a perfect location on pleasant Wat Botum Park. This park has an atmospheric, friendly, local feel in the late afternoon and early evening with families strolling, doing aerobics, jogging and walking. From the hotel, it is only a short easy walk to the riverfront, Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and National Museum. The hotel restaurant is sadly no longer open but there are lots of good places to eat, including tasty cheap 'street food', or enjoy a drink within a short walking distance. Front desk staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating with special requests. Yoiklien, Theara and TyTy all deserve special mention as they were just so extraordinarily helpful and always welcoming. Theara was especially kind-hearted and caring. Thank you all so much! You're good adverts for the hospitality industry. Keep up the great work! The hotel also conveniently has a very reasonably priced laundry service. Given its excellent location and facilities, the room rates are very reasonable indeed. In my opinion, you would struggle to find better elsewhere. I can see why it was awarded the TripAdvisor 'Travellers Choice 2021' award. It deserves it! My standard room, with a small balcony, was well appointed, clean, spacious and very comfortable. All in all an absolutely superb choice of hotel and one I would very happily return to again and again, as I have done. I would very highly recommend this hotel to everyone and I look forward to my next stay. Thank you King Grand Boutique team for such a pleasant and comfortable stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights, the room was clean and staff were very friendly. There was a fridge in the room, wifi throughout, pool on the top deck and a nice little balcony where you can smoke. Also really comfy pillows which is always a bonus when you've been staying in budget places for a while and haven't had comfort. Not a bad location and tuk tuks are waiting outside to take you where you want to go for cheap prices. Reception is manned 24/7 which is also nice to have in case of any problems. They have stopped providing breakfast ever since covid which is a shame. They also offer a laundry service but its much cheaper to take it two doors down where they only charge $1 per kg instead of price per item like this hotel does.

I booked 3 nights. The hotel is located near the Palace. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the riverside where you can find many restaurants there. It takes another 10 minutes to walk to the night market. My room is luxury king size bed with balcony. It is clean, but the decoration is ordinary and not high class. For business stay it is satisfactory. Breakfast is not up to my expectation. Every day there are only three hot dishes, soup and you can order omlets, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, noodles, fried rice free of charge. Too few choices and i suggest you only book the room and not the breakfast. You better have your breakfast in nearby restaurants. Almost of the hotel guests are Westerners. I only saw a three Chinese guests on the last day of my stay. The room price is a little bit expensive given the quality of breakfast.

早一天預訂兩個晚上的連露台房，到酒店前台，服務員很友善的招呼，並親自帶我到房間，問我對房間滿意不滿意，我答可以！他離開後，我才發現這只是一間普通大床房，我再去前台問什麼一回事，他竟然話因為假期多客，我問：那麼我在trip訂了的，客人多了，可以把我確定了的房間給了其他客人？經理出來，除了道歉外，沒有其他說話，我只好說，你們要退差價，經理話，退差價就要取消本來包了的早餐，結果兩晚差價退回us20，但不給早餐，對這酒店的服務很失望！

Very nice staff, but they give different information regarding busses (one person said the bus to siem reap could do pick up and the other person said they don't do that). There was a breakfast board with options in the entrance, but they do not serve breakfast. For 2 nights we were on the ground floor, in a room which didn't have any wifi, even though it was advertised as such. For the third night, that we had later extended, we moved to a different room, which had wifi, however nowhere to put your stuff (the first room had a closet and a desk, the second one didn't even have a single hook or anything to hang something in the bathroom for towel or the beauty case). In general both rooms were dirty, I didn't want to put anything on the floor, but there was no other option and the bathroom was so dirty I didn't want to touch a single surface. In the second room, that we had for one night, the toilet cover was not connected to any part of the toilet itself and neither was the toilet seat. The floor was so dirty it was the first thing you saw, when you came into the room. And I am not completely sure, if the bedsheets are washed between guests, but I don't know. The first room also didn't have a single window for daylight. Thankfully both rooms had air conditioning, but the vents were extremely dirty. There is also a pool which is generally nice but the tiles partially come off and the water felt slimey. In conclusion the staff was super nice, but the standards of hygiene definitely don't match western standards in any way. All in all, I would not go again and I would not recommend it either.

Staff not really friendly but Mr. Vichet is a nice guy, friendly and could fulfill what customers need. The location is perfect very to market, Aeon Mall and surrounding by restaurants.
