I am a well seasoned traveler who travels frequently for both work and leisure. Let me start by saying that the service at this hotel was great. The staff were warm and welcoming when I arrived with my partner. The gym and pool area are outstanding. As fitness lovers this was great to see. However, there were two things that were really problematic that I must point out. The former being the most pertinent of the two: 1. Cleanliness: One of the towels in my hotel room had been soiled with dry excrement. I was shocked when I saw this and thankfully I spotted it before using it. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, but I have never experienced this ever. This was extremely disappointing and immediately changed my view of this hotel. This simply should not have happened. 2. Breakfast: My view here may be more subjective, but I thought the breakfast could have been better. The selection seemed very limited in terms of both food and drinks. I would recommend that they look into this, as competitors in this price range offer a far more varied option. Unfortunately, due the the cleanliness issue this wouldn’t be a hotel I would want to visit again. I do however recognise that mistakes happen. However, the extreme nature of this error was very off putting and ruined our stay.

Good location near Central market, Sorya bus station and shopping mall, about 15 mins walk from the Riverside and Royal palace, reasonable size room with lift, personally suit for my purpose and budget, will stay again

STAY AWAY. I found a USED SYRINGE (hypodermic NEEDLE used for injecting HEROIN and other ILLEGAL DRUGS) in my room. It wasn’t hidden either, it was in plain sight — no idea how their staff missed it but it shows there is serious criminal activity going on here. And also if their basic cleaning is that bad, do you really think the sheets etc are very clean? This is very unsanitary and not healthy! When I tried to talk to the front desk they just wanted to argue about it. The manager especially was very rude to me and told me it was “ok”. NO IT IS NOT OK. This was my second time to stay at Luxcity, and it was great!! The rooms (especially room size) is amazing, with all the important amenities and touches included. The locations is good…it’s located near the Cambodian National Defense so feels very safe. The rooftop pool and room service are both wonderful as well, and the staff (from the front desk to the room service to housekeeping) are extremely polite! My only criticism is that the quality of the breakfast seems to have gone down just a little bit. Breakfast is from 6:30-10:30…if you go to closer to 9:30-10:30, the selection can be pretty poor and it won’t seem as fresh. Go earlier to eat if possible.

We reserved a suite and a connecting room for our children. It felt as if we were in a flat. We stayed one week. We asked for a view on the Royal Palace, which I highly recommend. Hotel is very new and extremely comfortable and luxurious, staff very friendly and professional. Special mention for Sotheavy Hem in the breakfast lounge, dynamic and always ready to help and to the enthusiastic Srini. As othet reviews mentioned hotel is ideally placed. Hotel was above my expectations and I can only recommend to stay there.

It seems it’s located in some sort of clubs area so depending on which side your room faces can be good or can be a horrible stay. I booked the hotel two times and on my first stay was no problem but on my second stay I got my room facing clubs and couldn’t fall asleep till 4 am when the music stopped. My whole room was vibrating from loud club music. When you stay there make sure you get a room on a quiet side. On this 2nd stay there was a fire alarm as well, seems some guests smoked in the corridor or so. I opened my door and staff asked me to go back into the room.

We stayed here because of the late checkout and airport shuttle. The hotel is clean. Service is good. It’s in a central location. The breakfast selection has a lot of Chinese options. No omelette station. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are headed to the airport. Unfortunately, during breakfast several of the guests chose to turn and stare at us while we tried to have breakfast, and the Sky bar was closed. I’m undecided if I would return for a stay unless headed to the airport.

the staff were nice although most of them cannot really speak in english. they tried their best to communicate with me. they are all very polite as well. the room was fairly clean and there was a 7-11 nearby which is really great.

An unfortunate experience, I found myself in the worst situation dealing with M Residence, as on the day of my check-in, the Sale Manager Vincent neglected to inform the receptionist about my booking, and instead of booking online for a fair rate, they wanted to charge me 50 USD per night, when it was only 24 USD online. Because the receptionist was new and unfamiliar with the process, she had to validate each step with her manager. It took me 45 minutes to check-in. The whole thing felt sketchy because I had to pay 130 USD with tax instead of 72 USD online with Airbnb small tax it would have cost max 86 USD if I recall. Anyway, I paid and received a very small room with hardly working air conditioning and filthy elevator. The swimming pool was breaking apart, and it appeared that the structure was inadequately maintained. There was no pool attendant, and no PH and CL analysis of the chemicals in the pool was available. The entire establishment is a shambles, and they definitely lack hospitality skills. Anyway I shared some information about my experience with the Manager who told me “The staff are so bad” I wanted to react and tell him that he should invest in training them but I could see there was no point in telling him has he clearly do not hold any sense of hospitality skills… The day before my departure I contact the “Receptionist Supervisor” and asked if I should do my check out now to collect my deposit back as I leave at 5:50 am and she informed to not to worry there is 24/7 staff at the lobby. Of course, the day of my check out there was no staff at the lobby to proceed my check-out so now they are ghosting me over 30 USD refund. In addition to all of this I intended to do a collaboration with the Sales manager upon my arrival a discount or free stay over some pictures which they gladly receive but never gave me proper feedback nor a compensation. M Residence is a disgrace to the hospitality industry in Cambodia. Their unethical practices and scams are not the way to conduct business.
