The rooms have a horrible smell , no refill body syampoo .. house keeping no that good . Hotel environment very beautiful & have Very nice beach, but the hotel staff not so friendly..breakfast was excellent..

One of the most beautiful hotels I have visited. The breakfast, the chocolate hour, the view, and, most importantly, the kindness of the staff were all wonderful. It was my boyfriend’s birthday, and they even sent him a cake with a birthday card 🥹We truly loved everything!♥️

Nice resort hotel with reach breakfast and perfect sunset beach. Amenities are ok-ish. Gym could have had more machines apart from that everything was fine

It's a Really Good Hotel ! The room was great with a beautiful view ! Very Good Service! Specially LY, from the first night of our stay to the last day of check-out, we were impressed by his service. Although it is a bit far from popular places, it is still worth a vacation. We would like to come back and recommend our Friend.

If we compare this to resort; the price only differs around 2 dollars for their sea view room, but I think the breakfast and service quality greatly differs. The view from the residence sea view studio is amazing, I liked it more than the resort. On the other hand, service, cleanness, and breakfast are a lot better in the resort. The resort sea view room comes with a capsule coffee machine and has small details such as beach tote bags and umbrellas. Also, the study desk is more convenient, and the room is a little bigger. Gym is also on this side. The residence comes with a kitchen, no capsule machine, no cutlery, nothing in the kitchen. The sink makes the room smelly. The room generally was smelly. The sheets never smelt fresh for all 3 days, even though I saw them changing the sheets. I don't think they cleaned the bathtub because the insect in the picture was there for all 3 days, even if the house keeping kept cleaning. The breakfast area is a lot smaller than the resort. Also, the breakfast selection is not as wide as the resort. For example, the resort had gluten-free options and baristas to make different types of coffee. If you prefer having a good view and a sink, go to the residence. If you need convenience, go to the resort. Also, there was a BBQ option for Saturdays. I found it quite overpriced. The menu selection was very limited, even less than breakfast. We asked for mangos, but they didn't have it. The fruits included were all the cheap ones. Only one type of beer was included, and it was not from the refrigerator. I think bbq was my worst experience in the whole movenpick resort residence experience.

Overall we had a good stay but I would consider it as a 4 star instead of 5 and there were some issues during our stay. Pros: 2 swimming pools. One of them on the beach and also the beach is “private* thought anyone can come if they wish to. It’s just a bit far from other places. Staff are friendly in general. They have an airport shuttle at certain times I believe it is every 2 hour so if it suits you you can have a free shuttle service. Cons: It is a very much family friendly hotel and if you are a couple and looking for a quite romantic getaway it might not be suitable? if you are unlucky you will just be having kids playing valleyball in the swimming pool screaming all day along. And the staff do not do anything about it although there is a sign saying “be considerate and not to make loud noise”. Breakfast is okay, a lot of unhealthy stuff like cakes, fries etc etc. Not much facilities in the room not even an espresso machine but a kettle and powder coffee. As some of the other reviews say we had a horrible smell coming from drain and the housekeeping had to spray the room to cover up the smell.

The villa we stayed in was very nice overall. We had our private pool with a lake view which was lovely. We were able to add two extra beds inside the master bed room, which was good!

Don’t expect too much about the hotel…..I had quite a bad experience there with my fam…even tho the hotel gives some little compensation…but it ruined my valued time with my fam during holidays… Door to the beach cannot be locked…they took off the door and started to drill the door in my room…we cannot get quiet moment for 1 hour.. And the water drain in the room was bad..3 ppl in the room cannot showering for too long…cuz it was flooding the whole toilet area after showering. Not to mention about the hot water system..it needs 20 mins gap in between of everyone’s shower to get hot water Last minute..I was quite pissed cuz all the door keys got invalid at 11:40am which I was about to enter my room and get luggage and check out… and when you go out you will see the cleaning cart at the front door of villa waiting for you before your check out time which blocked your way…and u have to walk on the grass…not the normal road… I appreciate their efforts to fix everything, but this is not expected for my trip and I feel very disappointed to choose this hotel with this price… Not recommended !

Really big resort. Has private beach and nice swimming pools. Provide free shuttle between 2 MOVENPICK resorts. Free bicycle. Has funny games to play. Relax and enjoyable

We booked a room that can straightly walked into the swimming pool from the garden which is super nice! The buffet breakfast is nice with a wide range of choices from Asian to Western style they both catered. The especially set up a counter for making different styles of eggs!! Sunny side up, over easy, scrambled and even egg Benedict! Just the location is not close to centre but taking Grab to night market was not expensive and there’s also buggy service for going to the nearest beach. Staff are nice and helpful, too. Overall we love our stay in this hotel.

location is far from city center, ride a bike for at least 17min to reach something to eat/buy, but quieter for relaxing within the resort. took a bit long for housekeeping to accommodate your request, normally 20 to 30 min.

It was nice place for the family. However, the location is quite far from everything. Pity that amenities were not all available and had ti ask to bring more. Fortunately, the staff refilled all amenities quite soon. Children loves the chocolate hour and it is really a nice treat for the guests!
