The hotel met our expectations quite well, but to be honest, I wasn't satisfied with the breakfast.

Exceeded expectations! The suite was huge, clean, and quiet. The hotel's exterior had a very Southeast Asian vibe, with three pools. The main pool even had a swim-up bar with good music. It was amazing to grab a cocktail after a swim. Karon Beach was just across the road. The staff were all incredibly friendly, completely different from some of the negative reviews online. You really need to experience it yourself to judge; don't be swayed by overly particular people.

As other reviewers mentioned, the water quality isn't great. I recommend bringing your own filtered shower head; after just one shower, the filter was almost black. Overall, the hotel is pretty good. I didn't experience the discrimination against Chinese guests that some others reported, and the room we got had a nice sea view. The hotel's location is excellent; Karon Beach is just across the street.

This might be the worst hotel I've stayed in out of over 3000 in the past decade. 1. The room was old and had a terrible musty smell. As shown in the picture, the showerhead in the bathroom was caked with black grime, the sink drained very slowly, the toilet leaked, and the bathroom was either dirty or just old; I couldn't even walk barefoot in it. I sent pictures to my friends, and they thought I was staying in a guesthouse. 2. There were no disposable slippers, no kids' slippers, and no complimentary drinking water. The hotel charged 50 baht per bottle, which felt incredibly stingy. So, we went to 7-Eleven outside to buy water. We had a huge, heavy bag of stuff, and when we asked at the hotel entrance if we could get a buggy ride back to our room, they said no, buggies only pick up people checking in. 3. The breakfast was good, the only positive aspect. After spending over 6000 baht for two nights at this rip-off place, I'm now at another well-known five-star hotel, where two nights cost 5800 baht, and the room and facilities are fantastic! It turns out it wasn't expensive because of the peak season; Paradox was just plain bad!

You can't really expect a beachfront hotel to have carpets and wooden decor; after all, moisture and mildew prevention are key. The hotel was very clean, and ordering housekeeping through the app was super convenient. The bedding and other facilities were neat and tidy. My pajamas, which I'd left on the bed during the day, were neatly folded by the staff. Plus, whenever we encountered any staff members, they always greeted us with a smile and a “Sawasdee ka.” The location is quite good, and the architectural style is very interesting – from the outside, it looks like a city of dunes, but inside, it's all coconut groves and shadows. We had a great stay, though it would have been even better if the hotel provided toothbrushes directly. We had to order room service through the app, and the staff had to make a trip up to deliver them.

The value for money is decent. The location is excellent, with direct walking access to the beach, and it's quite convenient for getting around and finding food nearby. The service and cleanliness are just average, nothing special. The overall service mindset was not as good as the hotel we stayed at in Phuket Town.

This was my second stay in Phuket. I booked and paid through Ctrip, but the hotel didn't issue the booking confirmation. The price then jumped from 2,600 RMB to over 10,000 RMB. Ctrip eventually compensated us over 8,000 RMB, covering the entire price difference. I hope hotels don't refuse bookings due to price increases. This was an unpleasant experience. Putting that aside, the Paradox Resort Phuket has a beautiful environment, nestled between mountains and the sea, offering truly captivating views. The rooms are spacious and clean, with exquisite decor, and the balcony provides stunning ocean views. The hotel's pool design is unique and perfect for relaxing and taking photos. Breakfast is rich and varied, and tastes great. The staff are warm, friendly, and provide attentive service, making you feel right at home. It's also very close to the beach, just a few minutes' walk away. Overall, the experience was very satisfying. It's an excellent choice for a relaxing vacation or a romantic getaway, highly recommended!

I want a quiet place to stay so I have chosen karon beach instead of patong, patong is more for the partying people. I've reserved the penthouse and the experience was good. The room is huge , especially the bathtub in the toilet was really book enough for two. Certainly the pool at the rooftop is the major experience too. The rooms are a bit old but they are clean. I believe the resort has certain history already, but as it's clean, it's still good. The location is really good to get on the beach and to food quick. The resort is not too big for walking. The breakfast, however, was just very mediocre.

The location of Paradox Phuket is excellent — the back gate leads straight to Karon Beach, and the resort itself is huge with a nice tropical Southeast Asian vibe. However, when we stayed, one of the pools and a restaurant were under construction, and there was constant renovation noise around the property. It honestly felt like the whole place was under construction. For a five-star hotel, the facilities felt quite dated. The main building only has two old and slow elevators with max capacity of 5-6 ppl, which really isn’t enough for the number of guests. Our room was at the very end of the hallway, and it took several minutes to walk there from the elevator. Service was almost non-existent — no one helped with our luggage(even the day we arrived is heavy raining) or showed us to the room, and all staff didn’t greet guests when passing by. We requested make up room service on their mobile app at 11am they came to knock on door at 3pm, also we sent messages on app to housekeeping requested tissue and never got a reply. Overall, the location is great and the resort has potential, but the facilities are old and the service really needs improvement.

The room clearly showed its age, but I actually really liked the classic style and solid materials. The water quality wasn't the best, but I was prepared for that, so it was fine. You can easily buy bottled water at the convenience store. The hotel's back exit is super close to Karon Beach, and there's an exclusive 'Coconut Pool.' Plus, there are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and fruit shops nearby. Overall, it was a perfect experience. The price would probably be even better during the off-season. I'm very satisfied!

The building is old and had a smell . However the rooms were well Maintain and guest service was ok . It was ok for the price . The hotel does not sit at the ocean so it’s misleading
