Principe Giardinelli

This is a great B&B in the centre of Piazza Armerina. The rooms are large and, if a bit cold (I was there in the winter when the property was mainly empty) the heating (room and water) is efficient. Alessio, the host was super- helpful. Picked me up from the bus station and arranged a mini tour to the Villa Casale (he also speaks excellent English). My breakfast experience was different from the other reviewers - Alessio brought in some (absolutely delicious) local speciality pastries and made coffee. Location is very central, close to the Cathedral, castle etc. and to restaurants (though many of them closed in late November). Only slight criticism is not enough information on tourist attractions and accessibility. The "big sight" at Piazza Armerina is the Villa Casale and there was no accurate information as to how to get there.

Abbiamo deciso di trascorrere alcuni giorni a Piazza Armerina (dove consiglio di rimanere per un minimo adeguato di tempo, perché i dintorni non si esauriscono di certo con la visita alla Villa del Casale). L'esperienza presso questo B&b è stata assolutamente positiva in ogni elemento. La posizione è ottima, la struttura è nuova e ben pulita, la colazione è ottima e abbondante, l'host gentile e disponibile. Saluti dagli ospiti di Latina, a presto. 5 su 5!
