We stayed at the Broadway motel overnight prior to catching the ferry to Wellington. It is located close to all of Picton Main Street shops, restraints, petrol station and fast food outlets. It is also close to the Ferry terminal and Waterfront harbour, The executive studio it’s king bed room was large with abutting seating area and small kitchen. Our host David was very helpful and welcoming. I highly would recommend this motel.

Thanks for a great stay at Sequoia! We had a great time and met some very nice people :) Corey: The hostel was clean, tidy, and spacious. Props to the owner whom I presume is Graham he was one of the nicest hostel owners I’ve met in all four years of my traveling. Sydney: It’s been ages since I’ve stayed in a hostel and could not have asked for a better experience. The facilities were great and they had just about anything you could’ve asked for including onions and free breakfast. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Excellent location, walking distance to the Ferry Terminal, the Boats to Weelington, restaurants, bars, attractions and shops. The room is spacious, with a super comfortable bed, air conditioning, room heater, cable tv, fast wi-fi, bathroom with strong shower and amenities. The continental breakfast, is well served with good options, an a la carte menu with spectacular options. I chose the salmon with poached eggs, potatoes, tomatoes and toast. The coffee is freshly prepared of excellent quality. There is a swimming pool. In front of the marina. The team are very friendly, attentive, kind and helpful of my needs in Picton. The manager Mr. Vivek Vaderelu welcomed me and was extremely friendly. Excellent cost x benefit. I recommend.

What can we say about Top of The Town without sounding like Tracee paid us to say it?! (We promise.. she didn’t) We first stayed back in June. We’re only from Nelson and we just wanted to get away for a weekend break with our gorgeous wee dog. Top of The Town popped up as accepting pets so we immediately made a booking.. We will never bother to venture anywhere else accomodation wise when coming over to Picton - we’re both so chuffed with this place. We just stayed again in October. We hadn’t made any plans for the long weekend - we’d saved Tracee’s number in our phone from our last trip, called her up and she remembered us immediately - “I’ve got room, get yourselves over! Lovely to hear from you both, come over anytime just flick me a text when you’re near! See you soon!” - it’s like popping over to your Aunty’s house to hang out for the weekend. The best sleep we’ve had in months - 10/10 for the bed comfort and linen to die for Amazing shower pressure Real good quality towels Cleanliness unfaultable (is that a word? basically the room looks like it’s been cleaned inch by inch by ‘Our Trace’ with a toothbrush) Long story short - whether you have a pooch or not, this place is a great safe choice for quality accommodation at an extremely affordable price. I promise you, you will not find anything wrong with Top of The Town and they are a gorgeous couple that really make you feel welcome. We love having Tracee’s number saved in our phone - now whenever we have a free weekend with no plans, we know we can just give her a ring and pop over for a couple of nights - knowing our dog is 1000% welcome and knowing how lovely their place is, it’s just so convenient. A welcome resting place after 2 days of challenging travel conditions. We had a Twin Studio Motel for myself and my daughter which was very comfortable for our 1 night stay. The unit was set behind bushes so that even though the park was busy we had our privacy. The unit was small but everything worked perfectly and we both had a much needed good night's sleep. My only reservation is that it is a 15 minutes walk from the ferry terminal which is tiring with luggage as there is no taxi service. However this is no problem if you are ok with this or have a vehicle.

Great place to stay - very clean and well presented, with very friendly staff. Walking distance to London Quay, the main street, supermarket and the RSA is right next door- great evening meal. Our room was a good size with a separate bedroom and small kitchen. The bathroom has a spa bath with shower over it. A rubber mat is provided for safety which was most appreciated. The heated towel rail held 2 towels easily. Bed and linen all very good We could look out over the harbour and into Queen Charlotte Sound. Off street parking,free wifi.

Nice location with many bars and food outlets close by, room nice with balcony and excellent views. Couldn’t get access to the restaurant as they claimed to be fully booked although this seemed to consist of one large table booking?? The rest of restaurant was empty. All other food outlets including takeaways seemed stop serving food quite early luckily we had some provisions with us 😯 Overall a nice place to stay and lived the area
