Our stay at Kenting Yoho Beach Resort was an absolute delight. The resort's swimming pools are well-maintained with clean water, perfect for families to enjoy. The natural intertidal zone behind the pools was a highlight, offering a unique opportunity to observe marine life up close – both fun and educational! The breakfast buffet was extensive, with a great variety of fresh ingredients, leaving us feeling completely satisfied. Combining leisure facilities, excellent food, and natural ecology, this resort is an ideal choice for families with children and is definitely worth another visit.

The hotel was a bit dated, but I think it’s OK since it’s old and hasn’t had a major renovation since it’s opening. I didn’t mind the older decor, but the cleanliness could be significantly improved. Rooms had dusty spots in locations where my baby had access. The loss that we got was quite fun for my baby, but a little bit dangerous since she could’ve consequently fallen from the top to the bottom floor. I wouldn’t advise anybody who has kids to book this room. You can really appreciate the time it took to design this facility as it has so many designed areas for patrons to explore. However, upkeep is necessary; the kids club area was pretty filthy dirty. I brought my 18 month old baby there and was extremely skeptical about her running around. But after I noticed some rat **** on the floor, I made sure that I dashed out as soon as I could. The second time I went to the kids club, I made sure I brought my alcohol to disinfect everything that my baby was going to touch. One positive is that their service is quite good. I had an employee named Roy from Viet who was super helpful. This kid is just working during the summer as he is on vacation before he goes back to school in Ping Tung. Man, this guy works fast. You ask him for something, he’ll get it to you right away whereas other employees at this resort take substantially longer to get things done e.g. Bring extra towels and tissue boxes. Phoning the front desk is pretty much useless because they’re so understaffed and they won’t pick up your call, but they’ll make sure they’ll call you if they need something from you. Anyway, Roy was such a hard worker, and he’s the only fluent English speaker at the front desk. Like what some patrons have mentioned in the previous comments, this place really needs a makeover. But, I don’t see that happening since the facility itself is corroding due to its location next to the ocean. They could make really minor changes to the facility to make it look and feel nicer, but I don’t think this facility necessarily caters to the international community anymore. During my stay, many of the patrons staying at the hotel were ********* and they didn’t mind at all how tired the facility looked. So, I guess from a business standpoint, it’s not really worth pouring the money into the facility. All I know, I was a bit back-and-forth with this review, but given that I paid a substantial amount of money for the facility and experience, I think the resort could do a little bit more in their upkeep

Our main goal was to take the kids to the beach for some swimming before summer vacation. We initially thought of staying here because of the indoor pool, which would be convenient for the kids to play in. It rained during our stay, so luckily, Yoho also had an indoor kids' play area. There were even evening performances! The breakfast view was fantastic, and the kids really enjoyed the food. The accommodations are a bit on the older side, but they were clean. The outdoor area had a noticeable disinfectant smell. Overall, we had excellent sleep quality!

The environment is quiet and pleasant, and the water facilities are clean and well-maintained. The room is spacious and comfortable.

There are many water facilities, making it very suitable for family stays. The Chinese breakfast is decent, neither good nor bad. Overall, it offers great value for money.

Hello Trip.com, I have a major concern regarding my two-night booking at Kenting Yoho Beach Resort for April 19-20, 115/4/18. When I booked through Trip.com, the hotel description stated that there were indoor and outdoor swimming pools. However, upon check-in, I found out that the ocean view pool was closed, and apparently, it has been closed for several months. My husband and I had planned to go swimming, but we couldn't because it wasn't open. I'm not blaming the hotel at all. My point is, when I book a hotel room on a platform like Trip.com, I expect to receive accurate information before making a reservation. It's frustrating to see a facility listed on the platform, only to discover upon arrival that it's been closed for months. Overall, I found the room prices at Yoho Beach Resort to be excellent value for money, despite a few issues: 1. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant, though their professional skills were average. 2. The paid SPA massage service was fantastic, with a Thai-style approach. You won't find a better service like this in Hengchun. 3. It's very close to diving spots; you can just walk there. 4. Yoho's beachfront is beautiful and easily accessible on foot. 5. The price might even be cheaper than some B&Bs, yet it offers so many complimentary services. 6. There's a functional coffee shop. However, many areas in the rooms and public spaces haven't been renovated. The bathroom and overall cleanliness of the room were quite average. If decor and pristine room cleanliness are high priorities for you, then Yoho might not be the best choice. Nevertheless, it definitely has its unique strengths.

Very good hotel; with balcony at backyard of my room. Live here , just like living at a resort in Pattaya, Thailand.

What an awesome place! My family thoroughly enjoyed it! There are so many activities to do at the place that it makes it so convenient if you have a child. I only wish that the pool times were longer.

We had a nice stay here and considering the price it was absolutely worth it! The facilities, pools and the buildings are clean but definitely have seen better years. Hopefully everything will get renovated soon, because the overall concept of the hotel is great, it just got a bit old over the years

hotel is relatively old, furniture and facilities are old. The buffet is pricy and not many choices. Compare to the other hotel we stayed, this is not worth the money.
