Recommended to choose a sea view room. Very clean, simple, functional rooms, normal continental breakfast. Very friendly staff, exceptional service given by Takis and Chris. Coming out of hotel to the left 20 minutes walk downhill or take the bus 904, a marina with plenty restaurants and a pool bar, 17 euros each per day midweek or 23 weekend, towels can be hired 3 euros. Coming out the hotel to the right, 10 minutes walk, superb fish restaurants. There are 2 tavernas next door. Taxis to cruise port 12 euros, 15 on the return. We stayed there prior and after cruise and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great value for money. Alan Cromarty ex Travel agency owner.

Photographs and descriptions depict rooms with balconies and a view of the sea, however it was a dingy backroom without natural sunlight. A change was refused because it was a so-called "City Room" (at a hotel, in a city) that I had booked. A cancellation was initially refused on basis of admin / computer-says-no etc. Eventually I was able to contact bookings website, and make a cancellation request via the website. Then I had to physically return to the hotel to get this guy to "accept" the cancellation.

The hotel is right on the waterfront so the location is great (be certain to pay just a bit extra for a room overlooking the sea -- big difference from the rooms on the other side). The room was very simple but comfortable. Easy walking distance to various cafes and bars as well as shops. Most importantly, the staff was SO friendly and helpful. They couldn't do enough for us! Would definitely go back

A very nice small family run hotel where nothing is too much trouble. I am in a wheelchair and the staff helped my Wife with the luggage and helped me at the front door (there is a single step) and also the lift. They had arranged a taxi pick up for us from the airport at a fixed price which was waiting for us. It was very hot when we arrived and we found that they had put a bottle of water in the mini fridge. 15 minutes later we had a knock on the door and we were given two large glasses of ice cold orange drink which we drank on the balcony overlooking the sea. The room was on the small side but perfectly adequate for me and my wheelchair, it was spotless clean with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. They recommended a nearby taverna for dinner where the helpful staff pushed me up the ramp to get inside. The food was very good and we were probably the only non –Greeks in there. The Hotel is on a busy road but the sound insulation was very good so we had a good nights sleep and next day we had a good breakfast and we were able to delay checkout until 1pm. As our ferry was not going until 5pm we went to the bar next door and had a leisurely lunch until the taxi arranged by the hotel was due to arrive. The fixed price taxi took 10-15 mins to the port where our ferry was waiting.

Scorpios has a great location and has the friendliest, most helpful staff. Overlooking the sea, the views are lovely. Walking distance to many restaurants, a supermarket 1/2 block away. The climb across& down rocky shoreline is a challenge, but refreshing swim is the reward- follow locals to safest entry. Lazarus was extremely helpful with every request and did so with a genuine smile. The rooms were clean and refreshed daily. The rooftop rooms actually have reduced view and rooftop is too hot to enjoy. Rooms spacious but shower a bit small. Breakfast good value but repetitive. Overall a very enjoyable, good value stay before our cruise.

We got here early/ before check-in and our room wasn’t ready yet. But they worked on it and had it ready in 10 minutes. Front desk guy, Tasos, was very friendly. The room that was given to us was a sea view room on the second floor. Very nice and clean facility. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better room and view.

Lovely little hotel we only stayed 1 night and it was a lovely stay. We arrived late after traveling all day the staff made us food which we really appreciated ! Rooms were modern and clean and the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was very good

My husband, Marinus and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights prior to our Greek Isle Cruise. The view from the Balcony and Room was absolutely breathtaking! From our check-in to our check-out the staff were absolutely fantastic and could not have done more for us. The hotel is clean, and well maintained. Breakfasts were very good and more than enough. My husband has mobility problems and having a lift was a life saver. A special thank you to Takis for all his advice and assistance. The little pub next door run by "Bill" was fantastic for meals, drinks and coffees. Again amazing service and helpfulness. Small and friendly hotel. Prize is very good. To travel to the city use the 5-day-ticket (8,60€), so you can use everything in Athen. Breakfest was very tasty. Only one point: Its smells for mothballs very strong......
