We had no expectations - driven past many times, had been to the "old pub" but not the new and not the accommodation. We arrived later than expected so we had to push our dinner reservation. The front office staff were wonderful - friendly, effiencient and made us feel like we knew the place already. This whole complex is well done! The accommodation is great and you can see they went to some trouble to build it well. The restaurant was packed, and after having dinner we can see why - great meals. The restaurant staff were friendly as well and although they were very busy they had the staff to deal with it and had them organised. I will stay here again, in fact I'll probably plan to stay here instead of Brisbane on our way home.

I arrived close to 9pm but the staff still made me feel very welcome by pointing out my room, how to go outside for a walk and where to return my key next morning. The room was clean, spacious and I did not hear the traffic on the nearby road despite my room being on that side of the hotel. I will definitely come again.

Awesome room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent food in the restaurant had dinner and breakfast. Staff very friendly. Everything was kept immaculate. Would stay there again that's for sure. A big place but still has country charm. An old family business exceptionally run by proud owners

What a great place to stay! Big rooms - including room for a roll away if required. Clean, quiet and well appointed rooms. Tea and coffee and bikkies provided. Attached to the pub for great meals etc. Function rooms well run too. Recommend this country venue.

Beautiful location stunning accommodation. Supermarket across the road. Big rooms beautiful bathrooms great location. The food is the restaurant was amazing. Awesome staff and room was serviced daily and the bottles of water were a life saver for us kiwis not used to the heat. Would stay again.

The standard of accommodation at this hotel is always of the highest. I have stayed on numerous occasions and have arranged for members of my board to stay there as well. The quality of the suite we stayed in and especially its cleanliness was impressive. Porters Plainland Hotel ranks right up there with the best, including any of the hotels I spent the last few weeks in, in Japan! staff at Porter's are very professional and friendly. The facilities provided for our two AGMs on the 9th and the related services were also first class.

Very friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. The rooms were beautiful, roomy and clean. The restaurant provided excellent service and delicious food. Overall, an outstanding experience of which I will recommend to everyone. Thank you!

The beds are very comfortable like sleeping on a white fluffy cloud. No sore back in the morning. No trouble falling to sleep. Pillows so comfortable. Very quiet no road noise. You could hear a pin drop. The meals very nice. Very generous serve.

Excellent room and facilities, staff friendly and helpful especially Karen and the assistance she gave us with our very late check in time, very accommodating. Great value for money. Would recommend as a great place to stay. Food great and cheaply priced.
