Pardalakis Studios

As we knew this was 2 star accommodation we weren't expecting too much. However we were very happy with everything. Yes it's simple but it's clean and well kept. It's not a hotel but small blocks of large studio rooms with a small kitchenette and bathroom and balcony. The owners are lovely and always on hand to help if needed. The swimming pool was a good temperature and size. When we were there most of the other guests were at the older age range but then it wasn't the school holidays. There's a bakery across the road, a supermarket about 800m away and restaurants and the beach a little further. The beach is rather pebbly but the sea was lovely and clear. We ate at the restaurant in the studios 3 or 4 times and every meal was lovely. Ate out other times in the local restaurants - good value and delicious. Got the bus into the next town a couple of times - 2 euros and very regular. The only negatives I can give were the mosquitos and there is road noise at night - take spray and earplugs if you suffer. I usually go to all inclusive hotels but really enjoyed this holiday and will definitely come back to Greece again but try somewhere else as don't tend to go to the same place twice no matter how good. We booked through On the beach and found it was much cheaper than Jet 2.

As many others have commented, the family are lovely, laid back (yet hard working!) & try to solve any issues quickly. The food is home-made & much better than many restaurants! Prices very reasonable. Free safe & air-con are a bonus. We found the beds a little hard for our taste - but each to their own! Everything was clean & Maria the cleaner was lovely! Lots of greenery around. Gerani a bit quiet for us. Great supermarket down the road - Agora. Much better than the one off to the left. The local butcher sells delicious meat! Buses frequent. Lovely, chilled holiday - thank you to all the family xx

We had a wonderful 10 days here. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was very good and the air conditioned accommodation was excellent. We also hired a car for 7 days so we were able to visit some lovely quiet beaches as well as the archeological sites of Aptera and Phalasarna

booked with jet2 every thing really smooth got to the studios on october 4 booked in at the bar only took a few minutes so had a beer while we went through the booking im a solo traveler so just booked self catering basic room with a small kitchen but everything you will need bed was comfortable shower and toilet spotless . bar was sound bar food was really good the family who run the studios are very nice the pool is good lots of beds and the other people who were staying there were very friendly. the village is out the gate and about 10 mins walk pardalakis is 25 mins or out the gate go left to the bus stop 2 mins and 2 euros best to have the right money the beach out the gate turn right cross over and walk till you see a sign for supermarket turn and walk down the lane you will see the market at the bottom on your left just across to your left another lane towards an hotel beginning with K walk down and through the hotel to their bar and sunbeds .So would i come back if i come back to this part of crete again yes enjoyed my 4 days here fabulous

Very friendly, small family run establishment. Rooms are very clean and well looked after. Food in the bar is very good and available all day. We arrived at 130am due to delays but were still served with a drink on arrival - excellent customer service.

Hosts are nice at first However they allow family and friends children to use the pool as if it was their own personal garden , the children are rude and aggressive to everyone who’s a tourist , they push and pull the kids on holiday and snatch toys and pool floats from them and hurt my kids multiple times shoving them over. And if you complain or mention it to the hosts they become rude and stand offish with you and make you feel extremely uncomfortable It’s in the middle of absolutely no where , few shops or restaurants about , so you have to take a bus everywhere Food isn’t the best served there to be honest The kids however taking over the pool everyday just ruined completely and I’d never return no matter how cheap it was
