We stayed here for two weeks, from the 8th to the 22nd of July, we had stayed here before in 2022, we enjoyed it hence the return visit. A strange feature of the Hotel, is you enter from the street into a vast lobby that is home to Reception and the Lobby Bar, Tahiche Bar. Then everything else was on floors underneath that. Street level was like on the clifftop and the rest were built up from the ground. Our suite was on the ground floor, from memory think it was level 4, our veranda/balcony was on ground level with a view into some the garden area. It was located a bit of a distance from the main area of the hotel. From the Looby floor we had to take a lift to the ground floor and walk along a long corridor, which was a bit jaded, and scuffed walls it was usually populated with housekeeping trolleys. For some reason other guests thought it was acceptable to leave empty glasses and dirty crockery along the corridor. Our accommodation was comfortable and clean, however there were some signs of tiredness and heavy usage. The main restaurant La Bocaina, reviewed separately, was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All meals served here were buffet style with chefs at cooking stations preparing and cooking food. It did feel like we were dining on board a ship with the large glass paned wall with views out to sea. We did have issues with the quality and lack of food choice, so for the second week of our holiday although we were all inclusive, we went out to eat in local restaurants. The Kasbah was the themed restaurant in the Hotel. The food style here was a fusion of International, Moroccan, Arabic and Mediterranean. Where we could book to have dinner once during each week of the holiday. We were regular visitors to Mike's Cafe (reviewed separately) the coffee shop, on thee ground floor of the Hotel, next door the the Kasbah Restaurant La Geria was the pool bar, restaurant and snack bar, reviewed separately. It was was daily from10 till 18.00 with the restaurant and snack bar open from 12.30 to 15.30 and cold snacks 15.30 to 18.00. Once or twice we did sit at the bar, for a few drinks at Disco Bar Montana Roqa. It was open each evening from 20.00 to 24.00, this was the entertainment hub of the Hotel, with live music or other shows. The Tahiche Bar, lobby bar was open from 16.00 till 01.00, however the all inclusive element stopped at midnight, from that point drinks were payable. There was usual some firm of live music here in the evening, reviewed separately.
