Hotel 5 Bintang Terbaik di Playa Blanca

Walked into foyer and thought wow! After a couple of days you could see below the surface. The rooms are basic and we had a junior suite 😳. Food was very average and poor quality, especially the fish. People found it difficult to find seats in the piano bar and complaining. Reception toilet poorly maintained. The hotel is dated, tiles coming off swimming pool floor and walls. Our safety deposit box was broken, we asked for it to be fixed, told it would take 40 minutes and we gave up after a few days. The staff work very hard but there’s not enough of them waiting on especially in piano bar Disappointed and definitely not a 5 star hotel

Want a great holiday in Lanzarote Then Hotel LIVVO Volcan is the place for you Just came back 4-11th Oct The hotel is lovely, staff helpful, friendly nothing to much trouble Location right on the marina perfect for bars resturants ( all budgets) and supermarkets x3 water etc Breakfast, to much choice 1/2 dozen types of bread cold and hot offers a plenty ( 4 toasters) Egg Station Evening meals ( we took the 3 night offer, like to eat out some nights) Again great, hot grill master chef at work, soups hot cold, salads omg everything, Ice creamn 4 flavours spuds (have a mixed grill Roast, Mash, Spanish Spuds & Mash :) You will not be dissappointed Hotel room spotless, aircon very easy to use ( most hotels aircon never work properly) Fridge, Kettle, Plenty 2 point sockets everywhere. Yes we are going back in March(booked) and again later Brendan & Jayne Byrne

This is my second visit to Princesa Yaiza Hotel, having been there many years ago. Oh how I wish I have remembered what a special place this hotel is. I can honestly say that this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in a lot. From the greeting at the transfer bus and help with our luggage, to the very experienced staff at the front desk (with bubbles), I was SO impressed with the professionalism...........this hotel have obviously put a lot of support/training into their staff who could not have been nicer and were all so helpful after a long journey. We had just escaped storms in the UK and travel was over 3 days to get there. I am certain greeting everyone with big smiles every day is hard but the staff here do it SO well. I never experienced anyone who did not have a smile. We were taken to our room (room 320) which was amazing, and what I can only describe as a home from home. It was a suite, with separate bedroom, bathroom and living area, with a balcony overlooking the pool area. What impressed me SO much was the cleanliness of the entire suite............the maintenance/cleaning staff should be specifically mentioned as I have never seen such a well looked after/clean room. I did look for dust but could not find anything. That for a property that is used all year round is a huge tick in my book, and must take such a lot of work. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows fluffy and comforting..........sleep came easily during the whole trip. The location of this hotel is perfect allowing long walks along a promenade. The pool area was relatively quiet most days and beds were easy to come by (it was January). No towels out block booking beds which does drive me insane, especially when they are not used. The pool staff were again superb and it was easy to gets drinks all day. Breakfast was what I have experienced in other hotels and there was something for everyone. 3 different breakfast areas so always space. Overall great memories in this hotel. Its all about the staff in my view and the management have got this right, all the staff, who all do their jobs so well, to make superb memories for us all to take home. Highly recommend.

We had a nice clean appartement which was very spacious. The bed is really good, very soft and we slept like babies. Bathroom was nothing special but clean which is the most important thing. Breakfast is a bit on the expensive side. (8,- for 2 small orange juice). The staff was friendly. We would’ve liked to stay longer but unfortunately it was fully booked. The only downside was the 100,- borg that has to be payed with creditcard as we didn’t have one but we got the appartement anyway. I recommended this place to others if they’re looking to relaxed without the screams from tourists. If you read this as a tourist please keep this beautiful island clean and show your respect. (We walked around with an empty bag picking up trash along the road)

Wonderful welcome on arrival. All the staff in the hotel were very friendly. Hotel was exceptionally clean and facilities were great. The food was excellent with great choice and all very fresh. We stayed all inclusive and could not fault it, even the local wines were good. We did not have to queue and the restaurant was very pleasant. There were plenty of sun loungers and 2 pools were great. During the evening there was live music. And there were also singers poolside in the day or yoga/aqua exercise classes. Great choice of live music entertainment. Location of hotel was great, just 5 minute walk to the beach/promenade. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back.

Overall, I enjoyed my weekend at this resort. Positives: the room was clean, well equipped and I made use of the gym. I also liked the pool areas and enjoyed swimming in them. There was also a really useful exit to the beach area. So why 3 stars? I didn’t receive the bottle of water daily, as promised. The coffee machine did not work and actually leaked. The fan stopped working and there was actually a sticker covering a hole in the wall. The receptionists were mixed. The lady who checked us in was lovely. The one who checked us out was rude. The buffet was like something from a post apocalyptic movie- everyone panicked about where to go, crashing into each other and the tables were like something from a canteen. The food was cold as well. We were also ignored for ages by the waiter when we wanted to order drinks, though to be fair, a manager did come over and assist. The breakfast was better and I would recommend going for the breakfast offer only and not bothering with an evening meal. We went out for dinner on our second night, as there are loads of restaurants about ten minutes away, by the beach. We enjoyed our trip, but I think there could be some improvements overall. It’s certainly not four stars- I would say it is 3.
