My stay was great, the hotels location was about 15 mins from Tenerife south Airport by taxi which was quite convenient. Hotel was lovely, pool was lovely

I went on holiday with my partner far away to celebrate our anniversary and we were super lucky and got an upgrade to one of the duplex with golf views, absolutely beautiful and massive for the 2 of us, but it was a bit disappointed as the room was not clean enough and the housekeeper had to come to clean the bathroom a bit better and also the horrible stains on the floor in the room but after that everything was perfect and we were very happy. The hotel is very good located if you are looking for a quiet place to stay far away from the hubbub but be aware that you need to take taxi to get the beach or rent a bike or a car, walking distance is not an option. The swimming pools are really good and you have plenty of space to sunbathing. The staff at the hotel are exceptional and with a high level of customer service and always willing to help, special mention to Martin from the restaurant and also Raul and Diana from the Reception, very good customers service and happy to help. The breakfast was really good and we were very impressed with plenty of variety for everyone and the staff really efficient. On the negative side we would like to mention that we would have liked a small touch from the hotel to say congratulations as we got engaged and we mentioned to Diana and Raul from the Reception and also to Martin but not a small little thing to say congratulations like a card or 2 glasses of prosecco or kind of. About the room, we would like to mention that the mattress are not very comfy as you expect from a 4* hotel and even though the room was very well equipped we missed a bin in the room and we had to use the one from the bathroom in the living room. We did not eat at the restaurant so I cannot tell about the food there and we did not use the gym or the spa either. We will definitely come back next year.

Very good hotel, excellent breakfast buffet, spa and gym very stocked and spacious, clean facilities and very attentive and friendly reception. Without a car, a little far from the central areas, but they have electric scooters at the entrance of the hotel.

Quiet but a little far away, the breakfast was the best, the pool was large but 1.10 m deep. maximum.

All perfect !! the only thing in my opinion is the mattress which is not so comfortable

Enjoyed our 4 nights at the Gara Suites. Came with a mate to play golf at the local club. Was struggling to find a decent value for money place in Play das Americas within easy reach of thr golf course. For under £1200 we bagged two rooms (I won't share) with an upgraded golf course view with breakfast included. Place was spotlessly clean, nice pool bar and plenty of bedchairs for sunbathing. It's a young person's place so we were a little old @65... prepared to be shocked by the lack of clothing...thongs everywhere! We enjoyed being 5 mins from the golf pro shop ...the suites are 20/30 walk from resort centre but scooters are available to hire which can be handy and I understand Taxis are around Euros8. The actual accommodation is massive with a big lounge area separate bedroom and big bathroom. Bed was comfy. Can't say it was a cosy room but very clean. You can use the room towels round the pool but ne better to bring your own beach towels.

We spent a night here courtesy of TUI after they cancelled out flight home from Tenerife. Having spent the rest of our holiday at another hotel (review done seperately), this place was not of a great standard, although mysteriously had the same star rating as out other, much superior hotel. Allegedly a 4* establishment, it was hard to see why. The 'apartments' were definitely 1970's vintage, complete with an orange tiled bathroom, ill fitting curtains, battered orange pine furniture and beds that were like granite. There was also a mysterious additional room but the door was locked, seemingly from the inside, guessing it may have been the kitchen, but who knows as it was clearly out-of-bounds. We had room 47, in block zero. The whole vibe was that of a neglected, sad, lonely place. Rubbish piled outside some of the rooms, empty bottles etc. Personally I'd be pushed to give this place 3 stars, let alone the 4 it proudly displays. It was around 10:30pm when we checked in. The staff were nice enough on reception, but clearly a bit overwhelmed by the sudden arrival of 44 passengers..... (only 2 in our party). We went straight to bed, hoping for a decent sleep, but it wasn't to be. between the rock hard mattress, the flat as a pancake pillow and the noise of slamming doors and furniture being dragged around, we manager about 2 hours sleep before getting up at 8am for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was OK, but not a massive selection. Late morning went out to the pool area........OMG, it was like a 18-30 holiday....scantily clad youth everywhere. There was constant noise from the pool area. On reading other reviews, it seems that this hotel has become popular with Spanish youngsters for a weekend away. There were a few families there, but not many. The clientelle was mostly youth. Our other hotel was a tranquil Adult Only. The staff in the bars and restaurant were good, very helpful, but the place just wasn't for us. Some may see it as a decent budget hotel (I'm hoping it's a budget hotel, but as TUI were paying, I've no real idea), but certainly not somewhere I would stay by choice. Still question how it gets a 4* rating compared to our other hotel (Which was the Guayarmina Princess for reference) Hopefully I will never need to return.

Absolutely disgusting!!! Our flight got cancelled and this was our accommodation so luckily haven’t payed for this disgusting hotel. There was hair everywhere, stains all over the bed and head board and CHEESE found under the bed. There was also blood on the curtains Me and my partner felt so uncomfortable to sleep it’s vile here we didn’t even dare sleep in the bed. Staff were completely useless too no help at all and added to an already stressful day. Definitely not a 4* hotel I would say even calling a 2* was generous.
