Apartamentos El Palmar

The hotel was immaculate. Room was spot on. Area was central. 10 minutes walk to the Yumbo centre and the same to the beach. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pool spotless. Rooftop sun bathing with fantastic view. Maid service every day, great when you want the room clean but not when you want a lie in from the night before. Would recommend to anyone.looking forward to our return trip .

The apartments are very clean modern great location if anyone asked me where to stay in Playa del ingles I would highly recommend El palmar Fantastic views from the roof top terrace lovely pool area and the staff go above and beyond to help you.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at El Palmar in my junior suite. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the housekeeping crew do an outstanding job in keeping everything pristine Its location only a short 15 minute walk to the beach but far enough away from the noise of the Maspalomas shopping area was an ideal choice for me. Highly recommended!

We stayed at These apartments for a week. Great location for the beach and bars etc. not great if you have mobility issues as there are a LOT of steps down to the beach . The apartments themselves were lovely and spacious, we had a one bedroom apartment on level 3, we weren’t overlooked and we had the sun from around 12.30 ish. The kitchen was very basic , needs a bit of TLC including more cook wear, a better pan would be good and some pint pots or taller glasses. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet as there isn’t a bar or entertainment and we spent a lot of time up on the roof terrace on beds / loungers with spectacular views watching the world go by on the beach ….this made our holiday to be fair ! The maids were so friendly and helpful too. We didn’t pay for breakfast as we were just S/C but there’s a mini market literally around the corner with everything you could need for all meals. We would love to go back again but maybe have a room on level 4 with a corner balcony , they looked brilliant !

Very friendly reception staff . Clean pleasant apartment. Lovely pool area and plenty of sun beds. Never felt crowded . Didn’t have breakfast options so cant comment on that .great location for the beach and shops . Will definitely stay again

Our apartment was really clean. The cleaning was done every day with beds made & floors cleaned along with the bathroom & clean towels. There was nothing to fault El Palmar. I would recommend people to go there. The swimming pools & area were cleaned every morning too along with the sun beds.

Lovely apartment we think the property would benefit from having a snack bar rather than the restaurant closing after breakfast is served. There are a lot of steps to get to the beach area so would not recommend for anyone with mobility problems.

Fantastic stay as always! Very friendly staff and lovely accommodation! This is my third say here and will most certainly be returning! It is a great location for the beach and also the shops and Yumbo Centre. Always have a great experience at El Palmer

We haven’t stayed in apartments for around 15 years so this was a revived experience! We didn’t pick these either, we had been reallocated as our original apartments were undergoing a refurbishment. However nothing to be concerned about at these apartments. Upon arrival the receptionist was really nice. Didn’t expect to have to leave a card swipe on arrival and hadn’t been advised of that. Booking in was quick and simple. We had been placed on the 2nd floor and the lifts were speedy and modern. Once in our room there was no air conditioning…. Which isn’t great for such a hot location as GC. But they did have a fan and all the windows opened fully. The first thing to praise this complex was the amount of space in the rooms and storage. Plenty of a large family although it was only 2 of us. Beds were clean and comfy but the rooms did become very warm In the early hours. The kitchenette was fine again clean with enough cutlery and plates for us. Really cold fridge and freezer and the TV has 3 English channels. Large balcony too with decent sit out chairs not the plastic crap you get in some places. Plenty of washing up liquid and cleaning products too. However we bought our own. The room has two days when there is no cleaner or change of bedding or towels which can be annoying especially when the room can be so hot. However you can get over that. The biggest disappointment from the complex I thought was the poor shower. To call the water a dribble was an overstatement. The temperature was inconsistent which isn’t helpful mid shower…. The gym is also a bit sparse for equipment, and again no air con in the gym room so it makes it difficult to stay in for a long period with it being so hot. Pool area was clean with a few couple beds for chilling out on, and the whole space was nice for chilling out. Overall I would come back to these apartments as they are located well and small enough not to be too busy.
