If you fly into las palmas airport you can get the number 66 bus to these apartments - corona roja apartments are on the gc500 carriageway at junction 43 - it's an imposing big building reminiscent of a prison - upon arrival I was allocated room number 205 on the second floor - this is one of the supposedly updated apartments and yes it was functional and quite modern with a decent kitchen and bathroom with shower - everything in room 205 works - entry to the apartment is by old fashioned key for which you pay a refundable deposit of 20 euros - the twin beds are of memory foam and are very comfortable - maids clean the room every day however don't change the sheets whatsoever - there is no air conditioning nor is there a fan in the room - I personally purchased a fan from the Carrefour store in Vicendario - this accommodation offers little for children and is mainly occupied by adults - disabled people will struggle in this complex - the pool area is fairly large with adequate sun beds - WiFi is free only in the reception area however you can pay for WiFi access in your room from the reception - television in the apartments is a payable option by a coin box - one euro per hour - one of the channels on offer is of an adult theme - I chose all inclusive however breakfast only is available - with regards to all inclusive the local beer and spirits were acceptable - the food was mediocre verging on the inedible - breakfast was fairly decent however lunch and evening meal was abysmal - I chose to eat out on many an occasion - by the way the elevators are not that bad contrary to others opinions - to conclude you get what you pay for at Corona Roja apartments - don't expect four star standards when you pay for hostal prices - would I return - unfortunately not

Stayed here for a week what a great hotel all modernised rooms lovely we had a 2 bedroom apartment great sized balcony lovely powerful shower .pool area spacious with plenty of sunbeds roof area great plenty of sunbeds and chairs good lovely plenty to chose from breakfast dinner and evening tea.bar area good friendly staff would definitely stay here again for the great price

I recently stayed at Corona Roja Apartments and was thoroughly impressed. The apartment was incredibly spacious and meticulously clean, providing a very comfortable stay. The pool area was expansive and well-maintained, offering plenty of space to relax. The all-inclusive food exceeded my expectations with a wide variety of flavorful and well-prepared dishes. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, adding to the overall positive experience. Conveniently located near local attractions and transport, yet peaceful and quiet, Corona Roja Apartments is an excellent choice for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

A great value for money hotel pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rooms and the food and drink on offer, from reading previous reviews I was a little worried at what I was going to experience but all good no complaints, staff were friendly. Would recommend the hotel and great location to the beach and surroundings.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly, our room was a large superior room with a balcony which was one of the rooms which has been updated recently. The pool area and dining area all clean. Food was hit and miss but still able to find things to eat however the variety wasn’t much, drinks were lovely including the cocktails. no entertainment. Overall had a nice stay at the hotel, stayed all inclusive for 10 nights. There are shops located just outside the hotel and also about a 20-30 minute walk along the beach front to the beach strand to the main beach with all bars restaurants and shops! There is a hidden gem at this hotel On the 15th floor!! Roof top terrace with amazing views!!

After reading the past reviews I decided to take a 'chance' well I/we (went with a male friend in separate rooms) were not disappointed, the hotel is well situated for the beach (under 5min walk using the rear gate) shops and restaurants. Although the hotel is of and age its over in good condition our rooms were both clean and in great condition, yes you have to pay for the TV but are you there for the TV? and there's no kettle but there are pans and a hob to boil water. We were on B&B so the breakfast choice and amounts were perfectly adequate. The staff are all both friendly and helpful! I would stay there again without hessitation

a great place to stay, next to beach and night life, staff were so friendly and helpful, big thank you to lenia on recption for all your help, food was lovely and more than you could eat, all round lovely hotel and staff. irish centre is a 10 min walk away for night outs, also market on wed, sat also. will be back. spent 3 weeks here in april. all inc.

i stayed here with m y hiusbbamd and grandfaughter it was an aqbsulute mess i di niot recomend because of the beds hard as rock felt liuke sleepingb on a car b onnet. i did not enjoyt we was out of hotel ball tgimes didnt setrve my grandaughter alchol al;l unbvranded vodka anyway

As Joanne lumley said....absolutely fabulous! Well done loveholidays for selling us this gem.from checking in to checking out this hotel has it all.the receptionist,name unknown,was genuinely pleased to see us so it shows she enjoyed her job,so great start! We were given the keys to room 1412 and what a great apartment.spacious,clean,a little dated but what a view!!! 11 out of 10 for actually seeing paradise from our balcony.we headed to the bar/restaurant to be fed and watered and were greeted by staff who went the extra mile to to make sure we enjoyed our experience.we struck up friendships over the holiday with bar staff Pablo,Roberto and the wonderful kay who is delightful,witty and keen to help in any way she can.the food and drink is excellent and caters for all nationalities plus there's no messing about with piffling little half pint glasses,you get the full chebang!!cleaning staff are abundant and excellent at their job too.all in all a wonderful 10 night all inclusive stay.very,very reasonably priced and are planning our return with some friends who have also been before.thank you corona roja...we loved it!!!!!
