Premier Inn Plymouth (Sutton Harbour)

My worst ever experience of Wifi in any UK hotel I have used. Took over 6 minutes to download an email and that was on the upgraded Ultimate Wifi package. What really annoyed was finding out they have had the problem for 2 months but didn’t give any warning before arrival!! Also, upgrade isn’t due for another two months!! Absolutely appalling.

Nice hotel but the WiFi was none existent and having a autistic child and no WiFi he was distressed at not having anything much he could use , we were waiting on some important emails too I,the issue was mentioned to a manager and he clearly knew the WiFi wasn’t up to standard

The car park at this venue is small and people were parked in the disabled bay without a badge (I have a badge). The cost of parking is £8 per night which is not indicated in the booking.I was able to park my vehicle in the adjoining Premier Inn, without paying any more fees. The staff were friendly and helpful the room was great, the en-suite was good and the bed was comfortable. TV in room was good, but the free wifi was awful - could not get onto the wifi at all. I had booked the venue as our friends had booked the same venue. We had one evening meal here which was okay, otherwise we did not eat here (out of choice, rather than problems with restaurant itself). There was no dedicated smoking area, so guests stood at the front entrance smoking which I did not like. I would not choose to return to this venue if coming to Plymouth again.

When arriving for our two night stay we noticed the soap dispensers were not working in the bathroom. After reporting the issue to reception on our way out. We were assured that it would be sorted on our return. On our return later that evening both soap dispensers were still broken (which is ok and may have been forgotten) however my husband went to reception to report it again to be confronted with a young man at the desk who was quite confrontational and told my husband whilst other guests were checking in that it had been fixed and that my husband must have broken it!!!!

Amazing customer service, an employee (briony) I believe her name was, was exceptionally helpful, very polite and made me feel very comfortable, I felt very at home, would defiantly visit again, room was very comfortable and extremely clean.

Had such a good meal. Really good service from Kery, Brioney. So lovely and helpful. Made it very good experience for me on my other half and made it such a speacil night. They also were able to have a laugh and just made it a very good night. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Plymouth it is very cheap and affordable
