De camino a Normandía paramos en Poitiers y escogimos este hotel para pasar una noche. El hotel está muy bien ubicado, en la misma Plaza del Ayuntamiento. No tiene parking propio, pero a pocos metros puedes dejar tu coche en el parking del ayuntamiento a un módico precio (9€ desde las 17 horas hasta las 10 del día siguiente). Es el típico hotel francés con fachada de piedra, una vez cruzas la entrada te encuentras con estancias muy pequeñas, incluido el ascensor, pero reformadas. Nuestra habitación triple estaba en la segunda planta, con vistas a la plaza del ayuntamiento. Su decoración es igual a la de las fotos que aparece en la web del hotel. Descansamos muy bien (colchón muy cómodo) y pese a su ubicación tan céntrica no tuvimos problemas con ruidos. No escogimos la opción de desayuno (en ese caso te lo sirven en la habitación) ; en la misma plaza del ayuntamiento hay varias cafeterías para hacerlo. Recomendable para una estancia corta por su buena relación calidad/precio

Had very low expectations because of all the bad reviews. However it's not that bad or I was lucky. The room was small (but it's normal for an Ibis) but fortunately there was no street noise or serious malfunctions. The room wasn't too hot although it was +30 degrees outside. The bed was comfortable. Can't comment on breakfast. It was a bit odd but nobody on the front desk spoke any English. I know I'm in France but this is an international chain hotel in a touristic city (Poitiers is very nice and underrated, by the way). One more thing - my stay cost me 25 EUR. If the price was 2-3 times higher, perhaps I would be more picky.

The hotel is very central in this delightful town. Loading and unloading is easy in the one way street but parking is a short walk away in a public car park, which the hotel will pay for. built inside what was a monastery it has interesting internal architecture and our rooms were two story with the bed up some stairs. This might not suit everyone but otherwise very well equipped and a good breakfast.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights, left the car in the hotels secure car park and explored the city on foot, the centre being pedestrianised. We were really pleased with the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff who spoke good English, very clean and large room with a good shower in the bathroom. Plenty restaurants nearby, across the road is Taco & co who do love tasty carry outs or eat ins, their chicken is finger lickin good ! 5 minutes walk takes you to Mekong Pacific, an authentic Chinese restaurant ran by Mr Duc, a very nice man. We will stay here again next time we visit Poitiers

WE stayed here overnight in May 2022 and it was a good call. The room was spotlessly clean with a large comfortable bed. The only hot drinks available were from a vending machine which weren't great but there is a supermarked across the road, a restaurant attached to the ibis next door and a wonderful patisserie just across the car park (Beautiful pastries and coffee for breakfast). Although this is not the most luxurious hotel it was great value for money and we would certainly stay there again.

We had an awesome stay at Clos des Moulins. The location was great - walkable to the center of Poitiers. Our room was lovely, super clean, and we were given our own parking space. Philippe, our host, was outstanding, and it is clear that he is passionate about making every guest's experience wonderful. The breakfasts that he prepared each morning were nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend Clos des Moulins for anyone staying in the Poitiers area.

Même si l'accueil et le petit déjeuner (pourrait monter en qualité) sont corrects, les chambres mériteraient un rafraîchissement d'urgence. La SdB porte les séquelles de plusieurs années d'humidité malgré quelques travaux (chauffage rustique, peintures écaillées, porte gonflée...). Le reste de la chambre suit la même logique : moquette défraîchie, persienne cassée remplacée par un rideau, le voilage a pris les couleurs des vitrages non nettoyés depuis leur pose. Une odeur chargée plane dans la chambre entre humidité et tabac froid... C'est dommage car le bâtiment permettrait d'en faire un bien plus bel établissement. Demeure correct pour une nuit mais surtout pas pour un séjour prolongé... Les photos ne sont pas le reflet de la réalité pour l'ensemble des chambres, en tout cas, pas les nôtres !
