Premier Inn Poole Centre (Holes Bay) Hotel

I judge hotels and restaraunts by the bathroom first, then value and convenience. Mine was super clean and I loved the Bayliss and Harding bathroom soaps! Great value, comfortable clean with a very good full english breakfast. I will definitely by returning soon.

Absolutely disgusting dirty hotel. Room had dust and filth all over the floor even dried sick beside the bed. The bed also had blood stains and brien stains plus hair so was moved to another room The 2nd room was slightly cleaner but had mould all over the shower. The toilet leaked. Would never ever go back should be shut down. !!

Had a 2 night stay here. Friendly welcome from Rhiannon. Had a problem with heating which was not working. Nick immediately came to room and left a portable radiator. He returned later in the day whilst we were out and by the time we got back, he had replaced the wall heater. Excellent service. Thank you. Meals in adjacent restaurant were also very good and reasonable price. Staff were also friendly and welcoming.

I spent one night in the Premier Inn Poole Centre (Holes Bay) Hotel prior to doing a sporting event on the Purbeck Hills the following day - to save myself a 2 hour drive and early morning start. I checked reviews prior to booking and was a little concerned about some of the negative reviews for this hotel but booked it nevertheless for the location. On my arrival I found space in the car park near to reception and checked in using the automated machine as the lovely receptionist was checking another group in. My room was on the first floor, looking out onto the car park and the front of the restaurant. The room was as expected, lovely and clean, bath with shower over, tea/coffee etc. Comfy bed with choice of pillows - everything I would expect from a Premier Inn. During the evening I did hear sounds of people coming out of the restaurant and getting into a taxi but this was not late. I had a good nights sleep and was down for breakfast shortly after they started serving. Staff in the restaurant were helpful, showed me to a table and explained where everything could be found. Great self serve buffet cooked breakfast and plenty of coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel - the only thing missing was an electric car charger in the car park at this time.

An emergency trip to Poole necessitated a room for the night. We arrived very late cat might to a warm welcome from the night shift. Really kind and friendly. One of our rooms (48) was extremely hot, 32.5°C, and when we asked whether another room might be available, they swiftly sorted things out and gave us the one remaining room. The following day we needed to extend our stay as our relative was undergoing emergency surgery. Again, everything was done with no fuss, for a great price, and the same rooms. Location was great for us, just a short drive from the hospital and plenty of free parking. Should we need to be in Poole again, this will be the first hotel we look at.

Hotel is fine if just looking for a place to stay for a night or 2. The rooms are very worn and not great at suppressing sound of people walking up and down the long corridor, this is quite noisy at tea time as a lot of folk get food delivery and walk out to the car park to recieve their delivery. The restaurant is OK for a basic meal, nothing fancy and portions are relatively small for what you are paying. The breakfast was a let down for me as the food seemed rushed to get out and the bacon was pale and undercooked. Coffee wasn't great either. Staff are a 50/50 mix of pleasant people willing to help and the other half seem like they would rather be anywhere in the world (understandable but not great in the hospitality sector). WiFi is slow and £5 upgrade to premium WiFi still isn't great either. Location is ok if you drive and there is plenty of parking spaces. Overall it would be fine for a night or 2 away for buisness and were happy just to get your head down and away to work in the morning. Not an ideal place for couples or family's in my opinion.
