The Donna Portals

這家酒店要15:30入住，入住會進行一波推銷，要你升級房型，然後説現在升級衹需要99歐元，然後加上税，最後變成多加110歐元，我覺得推薦不是很舒服。而且看着前台態度特別好，但是有點假。房間還是可以的，是側面海景房。 然後就是電梯，雖然有三個，但是專門不能使用。 然後酒店在斜坡上，停車位置有限，很難停，而且一晚上停車費不便宜。 房間洗漱用品是陶瓷罐，放在特別小的平台上，但是洗澡的時候，你需要擠，導致沐浴露罐會倒到地上。 早晨是點單式，雖然味道不錯，但是有點油。吐司都是橄欖油煎過，所以特別油。 門口沙灘第一晚碰到晚上全被淹沒，第二天沙灘慘狀，但其實白天入住的時候還是很漂亮的。 但是酒店房間還是不錯，看出去還可以。

WOW WOW !!! What an incredible start to your stay, The check- in was above and beyond our expectations. I mean the gentleman Lukas brought to us everything needed to check in while we were served a nice cup of coffee and sipping on a complimentary cocktail while sitting on a balcony overlooking the beach (that is instead of standing by a reception desk). Talk about first class welcome. IT IS DIVINE The pool is very relaxing on 7th floor. The experience was made even better by having Mr. Juan around. He was soooooo genuinely SUPER NICE AND HELPFUL. # WE ❤️ Juan Also Upgrading our room MADE OUR DAY. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH. Our stay was our last segment in our travel celebrating my wife's birthday. after staying at the Gran Hotel Ibiza (5 stars) our impression was that it will be hard to beat the Gran Hotel. BUT At the Donna we felt by far more pampered. Let me say something,, the staff, location and the property did it. 👏👏👏.

I genuinely can't understand what we were charged 560 EUR per night for. To start, we arrived at 8 a.m. and were told there were no available rooms. I understand that check-in officially begins at 3 p.m., but I've traveled extensively and stayed at various hotels worldwide where I was able to check in earlier. I'm not sure what determines this policy. Eventually, we were given a room around noon, though it was a different room type. Since we had traveled all night, we accepted this. Secondly, the breakfast... I’ve stayed at many 4- and 5-star hotels, and this was certainly not a 5-star breakfast. It wasn’t that much about the limited selection, but the quality. Everything tasted bland. From the oily scrambled eggs, oily omelet to the bruschettas drenched in oil, nothing was flavorful. It felt as though the hotel was cutting costs by serving basic buffet items like sliced carrots and beetroot, carrot cake, and inedible pastries. We came to celebrate my birthday. My husband asked the hotel manager for assistance in arranging a birthday surprise for me, such as flowers or a small cake (which he was, of course, willing to pay for). The reception mentioned that flowers will be problematic, but assured him they would come up with something. The next morning, nothing happened at breakfast, and nothing was delivered to our room throughout the day. It wasn’t until after we returned from dinner in the city that my husband briefly mentioned his disappointment to a staff member. Only then did they bring a cake from the kitchen, with the excuse that they had planned to deliver it late in the evening. But who eats cake at 11 p.m.? The room was stylish and nice, but the shower door design was poor, causing water to flood the dressing area each time we used it. The beach at the hotel is small and public. While the view is pleasant, there’s no privacy. I believe this is common for beaches in Mallorca. The pool would have been a good alternative, but the water was freezing throughout our stay, and we didn’t swim there once. The hotel claims it’s about 400 meters from the marina. However, this is only true if you take a narrow, dangerous path behind the hotel, along the edge of a cliff, and then another cliff and beach. The views are great, but the route is neither safe nor convenient. The other way is a 1.5 km walk up and down the streets. Taking a taxi is a better option. On our last evening, we asked for a packed breakfast since we were leaving early, before breakfast hours. Instead, food was delivered via room service but left outside in the hallway because we had a "do not disturb" sign on. No one notified us, and we only discovered it as we were leaving. Had we known they would deliver the food to the room, or that room service was available before 8 a.m., I would have ordered a proper breakfast, not just apples and juice meant to take away. We used to go to the mardavall but it was fully booked so we decided to try the donna, we were very happy with the experience due to the great treatment received by all the staff, the food in the restaurant also impressed us pleasantly. (special mention to the young handy who made us feel very comfortable during the whole stay).

We travelled to the Donna Portals for a relaxing couples break in what is a beautiful location. We stayed at the hotel back in 2018 when it was ‘adults only’ and I assumed that was still the case. I was wrong. There was a couple with a young crying baby in the next room. I don’t blame them or the baby but I don’t want to hear it. There was a couple with a baby at the pool. No thanks. There was a young ish child at breakfast being a brat. No thanks. I’ve stayed in lots of hotels and there are few if any which are as unsuitable for children (especially babies) than this one. And dear management, when you’re next updating your marketing material please do add: FREEZING swimming pool Damaged tiles Broken fountain Lacklustre service Ditch the DJ and all that ‘beach club’ nonsense and focus on providing a top quality experience to clients who have the money to pay your rates.

This hotel should be be adults only. No arguments. Makes for an extremely uncomfortable experience with children & babies in an environment that was not designed for them. It’s also dangerous. Not a nice thing to do to your guests. Since when did you take a baby to a beach club anyway? The pool is damaged, unclean and freezing. Not a luxurious experience. Service is poor and the loungers too few. No guidance on how to use tech in rooms. Bluetooth connection doesn’t work. TVs don’t work. You need a phd in lighting design to figure it out (don’t use cold white bulbs please) Chef(s) can’t cook eggs to order (5/6 times) When I wash my hands in a bathroom, I want to dry them properly using a drier or hand towel. I don’t want to use tissues. And frankly that says it all. What shall we use for our guests to dry their hands in our 5* GL hotel? Tissues.

Booked because of location to marina but it was so hot to walk we used the hotel shuttle when available. Our room was large but the toilet in the room was awkward absolutely no privacy. This resort is geared more towards younger couples. Some people brought children which provided no relaxation near the small pool area and is quite dangerous with high narrow staircases all around the resort. Most staff was nice and accommodating except Nadia who had a condescending attitude with any requests such as local restaurants or anything that seemed like just too much trouble for her. We booked a taxi with her it never came. The spa was outstanding Nui was amazing explaining the facilities to us. The staff at reception never once asked us how are stay was or if we needed anything. I asked for a makeup mirror 3 different times in a 5 day period and never recieved an answer that maybe they didn't have any available. The restaurant food was horrible. They serve the same crappy menu for lunch and dinner. Don't get the half lobster is was basically no lobster meat and no drawn butter or anything to dip in my two small bites. The whitefish ceviche was a rubbery mystery fish. Juan at the pool was excellent and very attentive. Glad we left this resort today.

Fantastic stay with family at The Donna Portals. From start to finish everything was superb. We booked the beach house with our 2 grown up children. Fantastic rooms with huge terrace and door down to the beach. Rooms were spotless and well appointed. All the staff, without exception, went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing stay. Shame they weren't wearing name badges, so I can’t mention them individually. Food was fantastic. The Merchants restaurant was brilliant. Great food and service and amazing view. The hotel were struggling one day to get the local taxi company to attend, so a member of staff took us on our journey. Definitely went above and beyond. Wouldn’t hesitate booking again.
